Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m an authorized representative at Capitol Enquiry, a reference product company for people looking to engage with state and local government at the city and county levels.
If people want to contact someone who represents them in government, they may go online and find information about them. While they make a form or a generic email address public, they don’t publish their full staff rosters and contact information because they’d get inundated with messages.
Our company has put together books and a web application that keeps the contact information database for people who do this kind of work professionally.
What challenge were you trying to address with TaskDrive?
We needed help with IT support and data appending.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We initially hired TaskDrive to help with some tech support issues for some of our customers. Then, we expanded into data appending on contact lists for prospective customers. Now, they provide level-one tech support on a web app SaaS product. TaskDrive interfaces with the customer before we escalate issues to more senior team members within the company.
From a data appending perspective, we provide them incomplete lists. They have generic information from the internet, like our target customers. We need that information appended much more accurately so people can be reached.
What is the team composition?
At this point, we work with about eight people on their side. It’s about six on IT support and two on data appending.
How did you come to work with TaskDrive?
A business partner of another venture referred them to me. He recommended giving them a try.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2021, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
During the onboarding process, we recorded different sessions with them and walked them through the processes. We didn’t have a structured support system before, and it’s gotten better since they’ve been involved.
Also, they handled 75% of our level-one tech support issues within the first week. On the data appending side, we had a 56% open rate on the first email we sent with their data, which showed how accurate was their email information.
How did TaskDrive perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re professional, competent, and exceptionally well organized. Things don’t fall through the cracks. We use Zendesk for all of our support and phone calls. They’re integrated into that, and we work together on a month-to-month basis.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re organized, professional, and timely. They’ve moved us ahead in ways we didn’t expect. They train multiple agents in case somebody isn’t available. Also, they keep their own training information to do a better job of training their own people.
Moreover, TaskDrives is always looking for metrics to improve upon. The team focuses on things outside our wheelhouse and comes to us with recommendations. Overall, they’ve been a stellar partner and having a partner like them only makes our organization better.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’ve been great for what we need. I wouldn’t want them to improve what they’re doing.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Although we’ve had limited scopes, I know they offer a wide array of services. Overall, they’ve been great for our use cases, and I highly recommend them for that.

Every lead list I have received has been accurate and delivered quickly. I know I can count on TaskDrive to fill in the gaps when I need more leads.

Meetings are easy to schedule, even on short notice. TaskDrive employees come to meetings with an agenda and use the time carefully. Communication is clear and direct via zoom video, phone call, and email. As for leads, I receive an updated list once weekly.
