The project involved designing and developing a cutting edge, live streaming e-commerce platform. We were working in a Agile, Scrum methodology and releasing the project to our end users every month.

We were looking to recruit a staff augmentation firm from India, that could understand our technology stack and deliver high quality product. We shortlisted multiple vendors, and zeroed on in Taazaa.

We have successfully delivered Phase 1 of the project to production and onboarded vendors and had the proof of concept up and running in the stipulated time.

Seamless and efficient. The staff at Taazaa were very cooperative with our stringent deadlines and work hours.

The skills of the developers are top-notch and the availability of leadership team whenever we needed them or even to train their staff on the needed skills for the successful deliver of the projects.

I'm the CEO of a UX design company

For what projects/services did your company hire Taazaa Inc., and what were your goals?

We did UX design for a large-scale web application which was Remote patient monitoring system, and we hired Taazaa to do it's front-end/Backend implmenetation. We wanted somebody who has domain expertise in doing custom software development in healthcare niche. Our goal was to develop solution which performs upto the mark as the transfer of information required for remote patient monitoring system to work is quite complex process and consists of a multiple transfers.

We already had a working relationship with Taazaa on different projects. However, the biggest deciding factor was their previous experience in delivering healthcare solutions

The scope of work was around 12 major user stories identified during design process which covered all the features of the system. After having requirement gathering, They started doing the front-end with React JS, and in parallel, the backend developer started writing APIs - The project was divided into 6 sprints, Each sprint was two weeks long.

At the end of every sprint, they were doing deployment on a staging server where QA person was testing and raising tickets in JIRA. The last 3 to 4 weeks were allocated for bug fixing and final testing We were able to deliver the project within 4 months deadline Technlogies used: ReactJS - NodeJS

There were 5 people in the team, One UI Developer, One React developer, One Back-end developer, One Quality assurance and a Project manager

We were able to deliver the project within the given timeline of 4 months. The biggest challenge was to keep the performance up to the mark, keeping in mind the complexity of the project. Taazaa was also able to implement the user experience the way it was envision and designed by our team.

They are very organized. We were having daily scrum calls on zoom, All the tasks, bug tickets and estimates were being handled in JIRA. We used slack for the frequent communication with the team

They are highly responsive and able to get feedback positively. They guide throughout the process and provide rational to the decision they make.

I was formerly the co-founder/Head of Growth of a real estate community and coworking management business. We operated 10+ locations across the U.S. mid-west.

The real estate industry is challenged with a lack of comprehensive digital tools for managing assets, community, and IoT and building systems. This challenge is even more difficult within the coworking/flexible office category as the majority of the SaaS products on the market are built for simple, flex management operations vs. more robust hospitality management businesses. We contracted Taazaa to help us build a unique flex and hospitality management platform with the ability to scale across a broad portfolio of buildings.

We selected the vendor based on the quality of their client and project management, proficiency in documentation, and quality of their technology team, from front and back-end engineers through to QA.

Over the course of approximately 12 months, Taazaa worked closely with our management team to scope out and define a technology roadmap for our business. We identified an MVP and worked diligently to develop an initial set of custom features and modules for flex space management and implementing a core set of community integrations, including access control systems.

We worked directly with the CEO as a business requirements analyst and with a project and accounts manager.

The project was delayed numerous times due to shifting scope of work and the difficulty of building custom integrations specific to building systems. Eventually the MVP product developed serve as a good flexible office management product.

Their project management and communication was fantastic; timely, courteous and always professional.

They adjust their scope and maintain their costs reasonably.

Pre-development scoping and research could have improved. System architecture could have been better, but a good lesson learned. Quality of back-end and QA engineers.

Our business grew 400% last year. This level of success would not have been possible without Taazaa's rapidly scaling team of talent. We also produced major features that required specialize experts that Taazaa was able to quickly find for us.

We also benefited from the processes and knowledge Taazaa has by having worked on so many different types of projects and technologies. We recently won a major client because our Taazaa team worked aggressively to quickly add a feature this client was demanding.

Our business is very complicated and involves an incredible amount of staff time to get visits scheduled, and to manage the healthcare needs of out members. It is a very hands on business, so anything that can be done to streamline our operations saves us time, money and vastly improves the quality of our service. What we wanted was to create a unique and fully integrated suite of services that allows us to focus all of our energy on improving the lives of the patients we serve.

I was not involved in selecting this vendor, they had already starting preliminary work with us when I was hired.

They were always very diligent about making sure we had access to testing environments before anything went live. We were able to be involved through every step of the way, very much working as a team with the guys from Taazaa.

We primarily deal personally with a program lead, a project manager, a QA manager, and a few more people. There are engineers and developers in the background who we don't engage with much personally.

The effect that our state of the art technology has on our business is immeasurable. Our suite of technology alone is a huge selling point for our business, regardless of how well we execute our services.

What challenge were you trying to address with Taazaa Inc.?

We wanted to build our custom software.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Taazaa Inc. has been with us from the ground up. Initially, they helped us build an MVP-style product with the freedom to execute the vision we were providing to them. We have now defined our requirements, and they were able to shift their scope into our needs. In terms of technology, our software is built in .NET Framework. 

The main features of the custom software they built for us are collecting rent online, signing documents, managing maintenance tickets, and communicating with tenants. Many of those features are entirely native to the app, and the others are third-party integrations — it’s a mix between native items and third-party API connections.

What is the team composition?

We’ve worked with several people, but we mainly communicate with Yasir (Founder) and Utkarsh (Program Manager). We work very closely with their UI/UX team as well.

Someone referred Yasir to me, and we chose them because we like the way he does business and the fact that he is a very ethical person. He has the technical knowledge to deliver, and they had a track record of their work that made us decide on them as the best fit for us.

We’ve been working together since January 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.

We have regularly scheduled meetings, and we use Microsoft Teams for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have an extremely hard-working and capable team; their ability to maintain those assets through rapid growth is impressive. Every time they add a new person to the team, they seem to be as excellent as the rest of their members — their ability to manage their internal team is outstanding.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

Communicate as effectively as possible. Be clear about your requirements, and ensure they understand the context of the industry they’re building your software for. They have the technical knowledge, but it’s critical to let them know what you’re aiming for to help them deliver the right results for your business.

We are working on a new idea for one of our business partner to offer users to bring restaurant to their home with an unique approach by getting their favorite cuisine prepared right into their kitchen. Once we selected this vendor, we had a series of discovery meetings to discuss our goals and objectives. In the very first month we received mockups and 3 initial designs for the main page.

After few iteration and discussions, we finalized the design and provide feedbacks on how we want the rest of the site look. The vendor come back to us with wireframes and concept for other pages. We proceed with the design and work on features to develop to make website user friendly.

Initially we were assigned a project manager to support us and serve as the main point of contact throughout the project but I was also made aware that there were 2 frontend and 2 backend developers, as well as a designer and 2 QA resources are working behind the scene.

When we launched our new website, we got good response form the audience and orders are flowing. As the idea is new, we continue to ask feedbacks from our customers and we continue to here positive feedbacks on usability, flow and look of the site.

The project manager that we have assigned was easy to communicate with and provide us frequent updates and quick to response on the feedbacks we provide.

We connected on Team on daily basis by creating a group with point of contact and the resources working on the project and connected on Zoom every week to get the update on the status. In the whole project, we never get any delay in the deadline as the team made sure to release each sprint as per the decided time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was blown away by the knowledge that this vendor had about website design, user experience, and optimization. We learned much more than we thought possible, and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful while we came up to speed.

We have worked with other agencies for different areas of the company, but this was a particularly collaborative and positive experience. I will certainly engage with this company again for any website needs that we have in the future.

Everything can always be done faster but we are very satisfied with their work every step of the way. In the end, quality is more important than the speed and we ended up with a beautiful product.

The Taazaa team is top-notch. If hard-pressed, the only area for improvement is a humblebrag: the team is humble in the best possible way - sometimes so much, so that their respect for their counterparts leads them to give room to things that could be addressed more directly. Again, it's not really a criticism, because humility, openness, and active listening were critical for the success of our project.

Our Company offers a free rental property management software that makes it easy for small to mid-sized landlords to screen tenants, collect rent, sign leases, and manage tenants online. I am the Director of Business Development there.

To improve our software that was currently being developed in house, increase our inbound marketing, and create a mobile app for our users.

They were recommended to us by another company. There were three possible vendors, but they could not match Taazaa on price or quality of work. This project was make or break for us so we had to choose a result-driven partner who was equally committed to meeting deadlines.

Taazaa designed, developed, configured, and launched the second version of our software. The project began with their System Architect and Project Manager meeting with our CEO.

Goals and objectives were set and never missed. Daily touch bases were conducted and overall project updates were performed on a weekly basis. Each team member took ownership in Innago making our new software rollout seamless.  

What was the team composition?

The project team had ten people. The Project Manager was our main point of contact and gave updates to the Innago team on a daily basis. Additionally, there was a System Architect, six Web Developers, and two Quality Assurance Engineers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Our software was developed and launched earlier than expected. Project completion was a major achievement for our team and our investors. After this project we decided to keep Taazaa on full time for ongoing projects. Since we have been able to release each new feature on Innago at least two weeks ahead of time. 

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was very impressive, especially compared to other vendors. Again the Project Manager touched based with us on a daily basis to relay delays, change in team members, etc. This caused zero down time between our team and the Taazaa team.

From the CEO to the newest team member I never felt our work was outsourced. The team took ownership in every aspect of the project.
