Project Description: Org.ly is a Contact Management and Org Chart app for the iPhone. Aimed at the Sales Professional, it addresses the issue of Org Chart creation for inclusion in Account Plans, presentations, etc.
Problem Statement:Prior to Org.ly, the main way of creating an Org Chart is to use Powerpoint, which is really not fit for purpose.
Solution: Org.ly makes creating an Org Chart very easy. The user simply has to organise their existing contacts on their phone into the organisation hierarchy by swiping to connect each contact with their manager. Once done, Org.ly automatically creates an Org Chart in a number of different layouts that can be included in account plans, presentations, etc.

Problem Statement: The client was a member of a music band in his college, and there is thought about an idea to create a platform where bands can upload their songs/music. People can subscribe to the band and download their favorite music.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CFO of a digital asset management company that specializes in quantitative fund management in the cryptocurrency space.
What challenge were you trying to address with Systematix Infotech?
We hired Systematix to build an internal platform that could be a hub for everything we needed.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Systematix has provided us with full-stack services for our platform. They’ve worked on front- and backend development, UI/UX design, database management, and everything in between. The team has also done research about the project to help them get better as we go further down the product-building process. I’ve provided them with our existing assets for the UI/UX designs, but they’ve done everything else from scratch.
For core features and functionality, our platform sports a bunch of dynamic tools that help us analyze data. It also has pages that pull data either from widgets or from third parties that the Systematix team has integrated into it. The data can also be pulled from our backend database.
In terms of tech stacks, we’ve used MySQL, Django, Python, and React. On the UI/UX side, we’ve used HTML and CSS. Systematix also uses machine learning (ML) techniques, so the team has been leveraging a bunch of other libraries and technologies. Currently, they host the development and staging server for us. However, we’ll take over the platform’s maintenance once the development is over.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 6–7 people, including their business development manager. He’s the one who negotiates prices with us and helps us with our overarching questions. Then, I also work with a head developer, an ML specialist, a frontend developer, and a UI/UX designer. They can also onboard a couple of extra hands if they need them.
How did you come to work with Systematix Infotech?
We found Systematix by searching on Upwork and a couple of similar platforms.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $10,000–$30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in November 2020, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since the platform they’re building is for our internal use, we don’t have clients using them. As a result, we don’t get a lot of feedback for it. Generally, though, Systematix’s work is cost-effective, and the team can do anything since they have a lot of people on deck. That way, we can scale projects up or down at any given time.
How did Systematix Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
Systematix’s project management is great. Our schedules are loose rather than defined, so they perform well. Meanwhile, we use Slack for everything from management to communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re cost-effective and can scale up or down quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s a language gap, but it’s mainly because I’m worse at understanding accents than other people. Meanwhile, since they’re cost-effective and do everything, we sometimes have to hold their hands through learning new things. Unless we do that, we won’t get the end results we want. They can also give their resources more defined roles so that everyone’s not spread so thin on projects.
That being said, I’ve learned how to get the best results from their work, and they’ve been doing great at picking up new information and strategies.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When working with Systematix, figure out who’s best for what. Specifically, find out who’s best at communicating the product’s requirements to the rest of the team. Everything will be good as long as you have good communication with the person that can effectively lead the others.

We have a marketing platform used by top franchised brands to handle their advertising across all their franchise locations. I’m the co-founder, and I also head marketing and product.
What challenge were you trying to address with Systematix Infotech?
We hired Systematix Infotech to build our entire platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Systematix Infotech is working on the front- and backend, as well as database API connectivity to the different ad buying platforms.
The team handles all the front-facing UI/UX for individual franchisees, which involves building out APIs for our system to speak to Google, Facebook, and Amazon, both from a campaign creation and reporting perspective.
They also built the front-facing UI for all franchisees and individual business owners who engage with our software to make selections to modify the brand marketing that’s happening in their community.
What is the team composition?
We typically work with 7–8 teammates.
How did you come to work with Systematix Infotech?
They came highly recommended from a family member of mine who had worked with Systematix Infotech on massive projects in the past.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve been working with them since July 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
New clients signed up, and I think the platform had a lot to do with that. They’re fantastic. There’s never been a problem with the quality of the code that they’re writing or their ability to deliver it on time. Everything is great, and we’re pleased.
How did Systematix Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re always on time. If there are any bugs or errors, their QA team checks and then we check, and we’re always able to come to a quick resolution. They’re accurate in their communication in terms of expectations for delivery.
We have a daily meeting with them to review all of the work and discuss any challenges, and they’re extremely explicit and detailed. They do a good job of scoping and understanding, which allows them to put accurate plans in place.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The depth and breadth of their knowledge are impressive. We don’t have to go outside of their shop. If there’s a reporting requirement that has a specific nuance, Systematix Infotech can pull in people from their organization who have that expertise and can help in a short amount of time.
That has been very beneficial. They’re very good business analysts who can understand our business needs and liaise with engineers who speak a different language in terms of code.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not at the moment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They have really smart, talented young folks who can spend the time translating your ideas, asking tough questions about why you want to do the project a certain way, and offering suggestions on how it can be done differently. I would recommend using that aspect of their offering.

I’m the owner of a website development and small-business consultation company. We’re in Wine Country, so we pretty much focus specifically on wine businesses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Systematix Infotech?
I was looking for a programmer to help me with a plug-in that I had developed with another person. I needed a new developer because my old developer didn’t want to work in WordPress anymore, which is the main thing I’m using.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I hired Systematix Infotech to make improvements to my WordPress plug-in. We’re currently doing a complete rewrite of it so that it’s entirely written by them, getting rid of the code from the other developer and making it cleaner.
The main task is creating functionality to allow anyone with a WooCommerce store to set up a wine club. It’s a subscription-based plug-in, and we’re rewriting it to focus on all subscription businesses. The best part about it is batch processing. We can use the plug-in to create 100 orders at once, for example. WooCommerce also gives WordPress websites the functionality they need to sell things online.
What is the team composition?
I was working with several people during the first quarter because I needed some other help as well. I just have one full-time programmer from Systematix Infotech now. They have a whole team of people, including a manager that oversees the programmer assigned to my project.
How did you come to work with Systematix Infotech?
I did an interview process on Upwork and I came across Systematix Infotech. Their code was clean and they were responsive to my inquiries.

I started working with Systematix Infotech in November 2018, and they’re my preferred programmers. I stopped working with them in January 2019, when all the first-quarter stuff ended and rehired them in May when I realized I needed to redevelop my plug-in.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Systematix Infotech’s quality is always top-notch and communication is really good. I’ve noticed that Indian developers tend to take a lot of sick days, but they’re always responsive when they’re there and will notify when someone is missing. This has been the case with our assigned manager and programmer, and it’s basically the only downfall of working with them.
However, Systematix Infotech takes responsibility for everything and will hold people responsible if they do something wrong. They’ll always make things right for me.
How did Systematix Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team does a good job. We use Skype for communication and Asana for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve worked with a lot of different programmers, and Systematix Infotech is very organized and responsive. I never wait long for any kind of inquiry. The project manager mostly works in my time zone, and he does a great job taking care of any needs I may have or relaying things to the programmer.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s been a bit of a learning curve, especially since I’m in the wine business, which is a bit hard. Systematix Infotech should gain an understanding of the intricacies of different industries.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
It’s important to be specific about project needs. I feel that screen sharing is helpful for dealing with any programmer in general. If I have a problem that’s not easily explained, I will always do a share my screen to walk them through it, so they can watch it when troubleshooting.

I contract the services of Systematix Infotech Pvt. Ltd. to develop web and mobility projects for my clients, when I need a company that gives me a quick response and with very convenient budgets.
What were your goals for this project?
My client needed a very specific system that associated each level of education of each school in Spain with the necessary books and that automatically generated the shopping list on its website.
How did you select this vendor?
I selected Systematix Infotech Pvt. Ltd because I had worked with them before and was satisfied with the results.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
Once the project was defined, a deadline of two months was established for the delivery of the prototype. Once the necessary corrections had been made, the project was set in motion. Every year a revision is carried out, to adapt it to the client's needs.

On behalf of Systematix there is a Project Manager who coordinates the tasks, a programmer with Web and Javascript skills who did the main part of the development and also collaborated with an AWS expert for the hosting part and a design expert for the graphics part.

My client was satisfied with the work done and therefore, the project remains active and is updated every year.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
The communication in English was fluent, by Skype and there were no delays in the execution due to communication problems. The answer was always immediate.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
A very important aspect is that the project definition was more conceptual than specific, that the work team was able to interpret the need and make proposals for its implementation.
In other words, not only did they take care of the technical aspects of the implementation, but they understood the commercial objective of the project. They made good recommendations, saving us time and money.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I think they could improve the documentation delivered after the end of the project.

Whilst we have used Systematix for some time now, since I joined 6 months ago, my goal has been to improve the functionality of 2 key bespoke systems.

The majority of tasks have involved a short turnaround time of a few days whereby updates are released to our staging environment for testing prior to being deployed to production.
Tasks are created in JIRA and managed through the use of a Kanban Board. Testing is managed through the use of Test cases logged in Excel.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Lead Developer and Lead QA
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
A significant improvement has been made in terms of data validation though the UI and error logging in the database along with many updates and improvements to workflow and additional functionality.

Ongoing tasks are managed through a Kanban Board in JIRA with regular meetings over Microsoft Teams with the lead developer and lead QA.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Being able to deal with key staff within Systematix has made it really easy to discuss problems, work through solutions and have delivered a working fix/update in a very short timeframe. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk with.

We had recently built an online platform for our cask club members to login and access their cask details. However, we needed someone to upgrade the look, feel and functionality of the site and so we hired Systematix Infotech.

We used an online directory to post the job and then screened the applicants. The people we spoke to at Systematix Infotech impressed us, as did their past work, so we contracted them to work on the platform.

We put together a comprehensive brief on what we were trying to achieve and how we wanted the platform to look. The team at Systematix Infotech went to work and keep us informed of progress via our Slack channel. Any changes we requested were quickly addressed and the lines of communication remained excellent throughout. The final deliverable was to a very high standard, which we are very pleased with.

We selected them because they understood all the technologies we required. They also took the time to learn a little bit about our buisiness.

We needed an Application that the user could design a sign or label and get a price of the design by adding all the effort that is going into their unique design. The customer gets to see the cost of the project live in real-time with all the changes they are making. This was all done online and saved in the cloud and when the order is placed the software would compile the order and prepare the artwork from the information provided by the client.

We had about 7 members on the team about 3 were full-time.

The app is still under development.

The communication from the team was amazing. We had many online meetings. Meeting minutes were sent to me after each meeting to confirm all communications. Very professional.
