Nobody’s perfect, and there’s always ways to improve. But, that’s the answer I’ll give for anyone.

I’m the founder and CEO of JLD Evaluations. We started off as an evaluation service; we do independent educational evaluations and neuropsychological evaluations for students who are struggling to perform in school. We try to get a holistic picture of the student, not just working in a clinic or an office but also going into the school and working with the school and the parents.
What challenge were you trying to address with SYNERGY Consulting?
We’re moving into our second phase now: developing a project to help schools with their data collection and management. Students are often being referred and addressed, and we discover a lot of scattered information in school records that harm student’s performance. We help schools organize and analyze the data they’re collecting. SYNERGY is our software development partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided two different types of services: consultation in regards to assisting our small business in dipping our toes into entrepreneurship and investment, as well as spearheading software design. They designed the demo version of our product, and we hope to utilize their services to engineer the software too. I’m not a technology person so I’m not familiar with the technology behind it. The demo itself is a clickable prototype where you can play around with fictitious data.

Our goals for this project was to design a full product that our hospitals can use. This included an IOS app, and an Android App. After that we also needed a new website that was consistent with the new modern feel of our mobile booking apps.

We selected this vendor after finding them on Google. Me and my business partner then had a zoom call with their team. After that we checked about 3 of their references and that's when we knew we definitely wanted to work with this team.
Describe the project in detail.
We had several meetings with their team via zoom and they showed us a full presentation on several different options of what the layout and design would look like. After we chose the best one, we they then started to build both mobile apps at the same time During this process we would get progress reports and beta builds of the apps so we can play around with it. It was a superb process that they uses. We felt engaged throughout the entire time.
What was the team composition?
We worked with the CTO of Synergy during the entire time one on one. He then would introduce us to a few of the app testers just so we can collaborate with them when it came to final testing. But all in all, we worked closely with the CTO which was awesome because he served as a great project manager for us.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The best outcome from our work with this team was that the apps came out so much better that we actually envisioned them. Our clients were very impressed with the user experience that they instantly told us how much time it now saved them when it came to booking our medical services.

The workflow was great. We really felt as if our views were important and their communication was very fast. There was never a time when we felt like they were in a different state.

CMeNow is a local hospital locator app that connects healthcare providers to patients in need of urgent care.
By streamlining the discovery and intake process of urgent care, the founding Doctor of our impactful startup has a mission to disrupt the way patients locate hospitals for non-emergency unexpected and stressful occasions, and can make a decision on what hospital to attend based on their current wait times along with their ratings.
I am the operations coordinator and in charge of managing all vendor relationships and sourcing to get the right tech partners so we can get this startup off the ground.
For what projects/services did your company hire SYNERGY Consulting?
We got in touch with SYNERGY due to our need of designing and building Android and iOS apps for us. We also needed a tech team that had their own UX and UI designers as we did not have those capabilities in house as well.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goals were to design and build the Android, iOS and tablet apps that were focused on speed and simplicity for both service provider and the end users. The service providers were the health care practitioners so it had to mirror the look and feel of many of the medical platforms they were already using internally.
The end users are all the customers that are using the app to book an urgent care visit. The end user app had to be very simple to navigate as time is of the essence during a medical emergency.
How did you select this vendor?
We were informed about SYNERGy by one of our partners who they worked with previously for a website that they built for them. And I am really glad that we got to them as our experience has been great. It has been more than a year since we launched and we still reach out to them for advice as we plan to rebrand the platform after our CEO closed a new round of funding from several angel investors.

The SYNERGY team designed & built Android, iOS and tablet apps focused on speed and simplicity for both service provider and end user. They also built an additional platform that dynamically allows hospitals to notify users of average wait times. Lastly SYNERGY designed a proprietary analytics dashboard that tracks demographic trends and feedback from patients.
They built Super Admin capabilities such as custom reporting, emergency vs non-emergency surveys, and created a subscription enabled landing page on the web. This was not a small task but their team completed it on time and also under budget for us.
What was the team composition?
They had a team of seven individuals being led by a manager who was a very experienced CTO. That person was designated to perform the needful communication with our CEO on a weekly basis to give progress of the projects so we can provide feedback whenever necessary.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our founding physician and CEO was able to begin his pilot program with several local urgent care facilities during that summer to prove the concept before fully launching in the Fall. It turned out to be a great success and we are now moving forward with the company.

All our demands were perfectly met and therefore the project was an overall success. We had an internal document that they provided to us where we were able to give our feedback throughout the entire process. It was very collaborative and our input felt valued.

We were looking for a unique mobile App that would assist retailers in incentivizing their customers.
What were your goals for this project?
The goal was to make an App that could send automatic notifications to the created list of contacts in case the person, having the mobile on which the App was installed, was visiting a retail store.
How did you select this vendor?
We've been working with SYNERGY CONSULTING for quite some time now and thus have tried and tested their expertise and skill set. Thus, we didn't need to go on a hunt for any other company for our purpose.
Describe the project in detail.
To create an easy, user friendly app that can help users remember to get others groceries or supplies. The purpose was to design modern tech capabilities such as location based GPS tracking and using SMS for those who don’t have the app for a more streamlined and friction-less user experience. We also wanted to integrate a premier and secure payments platform within the app to optimize engagement

The team was composed of around 7 individuals.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
SYNERGY designed and monitored a well structured beta program after the launch to identify and eliminate bugs. The NeedAnything team was able to convert a very complex and layered concept into a functional & clean app, but the genius of the app is in its simplicity and ease of use.

The response to our feedback was quick and effective.

They always work from scratch and are able to come up with the best possible solutions for the problems at hand. This makes them stand out from the rest.
