Web Dev & Design for Chiropractic Clinic
"They’re more timely and communicative than our other providers in the past have been."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for a chiropractic clinic.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We needed someone to create a second website for us — a patient-centered website containing exercises and program design to improve our clients’ health. It had to be easy to access and allow non-patients to sign up for our programs and exercises.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did everything necessary to create our website, from design to implementation. We gave them a word document layout of how we wanted it to look in the beginning, and they created a template. We also provided examples of video content we wanted on the site. Working through a collaborative platform, we made changes to the layout. Synergo implemented it on their own platform to do all the coding and setup.
What is the team composition?
Christian (Founder) was our main point of contact, and he had a development team of 4–5 people.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
I’m now sure how our owner found them, but he set up a call together.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $12,000 so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since April 2021. We’ve launched the website, but Synergo continues to make small changes that we request.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our site isn’t available to the public yet, meaning you can’t find us on Google. You would have to type in the URL. When we fully launch, we’re going to track site traffic, as well as the number of sign-ups for each of our two programs.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
They are great at communicating. Having Christian as our one point of contact has made the whole program run smoothly.
We used Skype and emails to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re more timely and communicative than our other providers in the past have been. Other web design companies take much longer to make changes, and they don’t communicate as frequently. Synergo Group functions very well.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It took a few times to explain what we wanted because Synergo Group doesn’t have much experience in the fitness and healthcare industry. There isn’t anything else, however.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate what you want to accomplish and what your intentions are.

Web App Dev for Coastal Conservation Non-Profit Charity
"Synergo delivered everything we needed."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a coastal stewardship technician for the Lake Huron Coastal Center. We’re a nonprofit charity that runs research projects, education projects, and restoration projects on Lake Huron.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We have a citizen science data collection program and were receiving more data than we could handle. The time it took to input it all into a spreadsheet and analyze it was overwhelming. Synergo Group developed a web application that would streamline the process for us and limit human error.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we entered a design phase. Synergo collaborated with us before we implemented the code to ensure the app looked how we wanted it to with a color scheme and logo. Starting development, we received click-through version of the application that allowed us to demo the functionality and suggest and approve changes.
For now, the solution is a web application that is linked to our website, but we’re hoping to putout Android and iOS versions in the future.
What is the team composition?
We worked with both a design team and a development team. Alex (UX Lead) was our main point of contact there, but he had a group behind him. There were two main people on the development side, as well as an admin resource and Cristian (CEO & Founder).
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
I was looking at reviews and seeing who had best the best feedback and the highest star ratings. After meeting with a few companies, I knew that Synergo understood us and what we wanted.
Our budget was fairly limited as a charity, and Syergo was able to deliver everything we wanted while also meeting our price point. Finally, I got a good feeling from Cristian; he seemed to understand and care about the nonprofit world.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $24,000 CAD (approximately $19,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
The first phase ran from August–December 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I had little understanding of development since I’m in the environmental field, and Synergo made it very easy to learn the necessary skills.
In terms of the application itself, we fully expect that the time we have to invest in managing data and number of volunteers able to participate in the program will improve vastly next water season when the app is used for the first time.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Slack to communicate, and Synergo had a booking system that made scheduling meetings very easy. In fact, we could see the open time that Cristian had and book ourselves into a slot in his schedule. We loved the direct contact we had with him. He made our team feel comfortable and confident at every step along the way.
Jira allowed us to collaborate on the application, seeing changes in real time and approving those we were positive on.
Additionally, Synergo was very responsive and quick to get things done. They made it really easy to work in a new field.
What did you find most impressive about them?
This is my only experience with app development, so I don’t have a ton of experience to pull from, but Synergo delivered everything we needed. I can’t imagine the engagement would have gone much better with someone else.
Moreover, as a nonprofit, we have budget limits, and Synergo’s team respected them, keeping costs down in every way they could while still delivering what we needed.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This could be a positive or negative observation— but they were very fast to respond. At one point we were busy with other project and we didn’t have time to get them the information they needed. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but we could have had more leniency to give feedback and review items.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Do a lot of prep work. This was my first time, and if I were to do it again I would home-in on what I wanted out of the job — do some digging into color schemes, look and feel, and imagine how the app would work in real life. Figuring things out on the fly that aren’t part of initial scope will increase the cost of project.

School Hallway Monitoring Web App Dev for Software Company
"Synergo has consistency, and they’re very reliable in terms of meeting deadlines."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of Vumatix, a software company that allows teachers and administrators to see who has permission to be in the hallways of high schools at any given time.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
I was looking for a team that could put my vision to fruition by developing a web app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In our introductory meeting, we talked about my needs and deadlines. From there, I provided them with a schematic of what I wanted. The team made suggestions, and they pretty much took over the project while injecting helpful ideas to improve the product.
At present, the project is near its conclusion. In the app functionality, if a student has permission to go to the washroom, the app sends the student’s photo ID and course to a master list, that can be viewed by the administration and hall monitor via laptop or any portable device.
What is the team composition?
I work with 5–6 people from Synergo, including two web designers and a web developer. I also collaborate with the owner of the company and a project manager who oversees the project.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
I found Synergo via research. I reviewed a few companies and conducted interviews with them, but the feeling wasn’t right; something wasn’t clicking. However, when I called Cristi (Founder & Chief Solutions Architect), the conversation felt right. I knew that he and his team would be the best working partners for this project.
Cristi listened carefully to my plans, and he formulated what I had to say in technical terms.
How much have you invested with them?
The quote for the product is $36,000 CAD (approximately $29,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with Synergo in February 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
While we’re still doing a few tweaks, the staff can use the application at school. The product has performed so well that our admin has asked me to do another app. I work with educators who can be critical, but they agreed that the app was well done. The Synergo Group did a great job.
It was a great working relationship. I look forward to working with the team again.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
Synergo has consistency, and they’re very reliable in terms of meeting deadlines. They haven’t once let me down during the entire process. Overall, they’re a very talented and professional team.
In terms of communication, we have a weekly conference every Monday morning. During our meeting, they provide screen sharing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Synergo listens to me, and they transform and refine my ideas to make them even better. Overall, they did an outstanding job.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Plan ahead. It will cut down on turnaround time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Plan ahead. For context, this has been my first project of such magnitude. Going into it, Synergo and I have had many back-and-forth conversations because of my miscues — I didn’t plan properly. As a result, if you want to use Synergo for any development project, take time to plan ahead.

Custom Software Dev for Not-For-Profit Food Tourism Dev Org
“Synergo Group provided a work plan that was easy to understand.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the director of marketing at the Culinary Tourism Alliance, a not-for-profit in the food tourism industry. We connect destinations to restaurateurs, local governments, and local food sources to build the local economy through food expenses.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We wanted to build a digital gift card platform that would put money back in the hands of restaurateurs in the province of Ontario. That technology doesn’t exist in Canada as a made-to-purchase platform and we needed the help of a technology partner to create it.
We originally had different developers working on the project, but they failed miserably, so we were looking for a new partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Synergo Group designed and developed the system for our digital gift card platform from scratch. We first started the project with Synergo Group by scoping out the financial viability of a program like this. Then, Synergo Group went in and developed an easy-to-use technology platform for restaurants to use.
We had a few critical functionalities, including a user dashboard, sales capabilities, and give-away capabilities. We needed to integrate the legal requirements around gift vouchers in Canada. We knew nothing about the legal requirements for gift vouchers, like windows of usage and expiration dates, so Synergo Group helped us on that front.
Synergo Group built the tech platform and a custom partner portal where we can track gift card usage, distribute funds back to the restaurants who are using them, and onboard partners so they can verify the gift cards from a mobile device.
The platform is only available for partners in our network, not the world at large. Our main requirement was full accessibility at all times, and so the platform is accessible on mobile and desktop devices, though PC and Mac.
Right now, we’re onboarding participating partners.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Cristian (CEO & Founder), Ionela (Project Manager), and a developer.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
We were recommended to Synergo Group by our development agency, who didn’t have the capacity at the time to do the build. We went with Synergo Group because we trusted the developers we usually work with.
One of the problems we’ve had with development agencies is that they hide their workflow and what needs to get done or use a lot of jargon that is hard to understand.
However, Synergo Group provided a work plan that was easy to understand and was patient in explaining each project piece. Ultimately, we hired them because the work breakdown and scope of work that Synergo Group provided were clear and seemed feasible.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about $30,000 with Synergo Group, but the cost was broken down over several different phases.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from August–October 2021, but we’re keeping them on retainer.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Synergo Group created a product in eight weeks that the previous developers said would take two years — the final product was superior to what we asked for. It will launch in Q1 of 2022.
Once the product launches, we’ll track active usage by the restaurateur community, how often the platform is being used, and sales versus redemption of the gift vouchers. Success will be if everything sold or given away is redeemed because that proves that the entire process is user-friendly.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team tracked everything and followed up with us with a weekly ticket list. They used Jira, and we used Asana on our end. We typically communicated through weekly calls and then emailed as developments happened.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Synergo Group came in and cleaned up the mess our previous developers had made and worked in a tight timeline to turn the project around. The whole time they were kind, funny, and generally pleasant to work with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
This isn't an issue with them, but for us: we should've involved Synergo Group from the beginning, but hindsight is 20/20.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Clients need to take the time to review the emails Synergo Group sends out, don’t just wave things by.
Hire them! It was a very pleasant experience, even though I’m not in the development space.

App Dev for Dental Company

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I run a dental company with my husband — he’s the dentist. We've been in practice for over 20 years.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We identified that we needed an app in our industry so that we could improve our communication with our patients. We started the process 5–6 years ago and we worked with two developers. As a result, we already had a legacy code, but our previous vendors had failed to deliver what we needed. When our past engagements ended, only 60% of the project was finished. As such, we asked Synergo Group to help us finish and launch our app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The main goal of the project was to get past our app’s MVP stage in order for us to use it for our own practice as well as release it for use in other practices, too. I’m not familiar with the technology they used in the development, but our app is compatible with both mobile and web. They continue to make adjustments to features and functionalities to improve our app’s UX.
What is the team composition?
We’re working with Synergo Group’s lead developer who’s assigned to our project and a project coordinator who keeps track of our meetings and progress. The principal of their company is also involved in our meetings, and we meet other developers on a regular basis.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
We used Google to search for potential companies and came across Clutch. They had a matchmaking option, and we were introduced to go through that process. After interviewing 5–6 companies, we decided to go with Synergo Group. The team provided an initial consultation and an extensive list of needs for our app. They took the time to understand what we needed and provided us with a quote along with the sprints we needed to finish — all of it was explained to us in a thorough manner.
On top of that, they spoke to me on a level that I could relate to, and they didn’t seem to be all about sales or business. They had a wide range of services, too. Overall, Synergo Group made the best impression, and we felt that they’d be able to deliver a solution that was suitable for us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent over $100,000–$150,000 CAD (approximately $80,000–$120,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in October 2020, and we continue to collaborate.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Right from the start, Synergo Group understood our goals and objectives. They accepted the challenge of helping us with our code, and they’ve been able to polish our app. On top of that, they have an excellent QC process — they’ve resolved all technical issues and change requests during the course of our partnership. Overall, they’ve been able to take our app from a non-functioning product to a functioning one.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
They’ve been very good at communicating with us, and due to that, we always talk the same language. We have regular contact on a weekly basis, and they've been really easy to work with. They’re also able to keep our momentum throughout the project because of their solid organization skills, helping us to move things forward. We use Jira and Google Meet.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Synergo Group has a very competent team that is able to complete the tasks assigned to them. Additionally, they speak in a clear manner, which allows us to be well informed and excited for the progress they’re making.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing to say on how they could do things better – either due to my lack of experience or just the fact that I'm happy with Synergo Group’s services.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear about your needs and expectations so that they can provide you with an accurate estimate of your project.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of IT for a vertically integrated consumer products company in the cannabis industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We’ve been growing fast and needed to both modernize our systems and scale them. To do that, we needed great technical resources. As a result, our company hired Synergo.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our company wanted to move into the Google Cloud space, but we lacked the experience or skills in DevOps. Given that, we started working with Synergo by finding resources that were familiar with our tech stack. Then, when they started executing the scope of work, they came back with questions that made us realize we were going down the wrong path. As such, we had to start over and do the project in a better way.
So far, the Synergo team has helped us build our new environment and automate its operation. Moreover, since we’re a public company, we’re also using them to assure investors that we’re compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
What is the team composition?
We’ve been working with six people from their team, consisting of three developers and three DevOps engineers.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
I found them through word of mouth. Our current CFO had worked with Synergo in the past, and he suggested I talk to them. When I did, I liked their approach, which was focused on our success as a business more than our success at augmenting our staff.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Synergo in May 2021, and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve hired Synergo to support our business, and they effectively do that. In fact, they could’ve continued charging us while we were heading down the wrong path, but they didn’t. Simply put, the whole team is thinking like an owner of our business even at the engineer level — that’s why we continue using them.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
They have great communication skills. Much of what we’re doing has been exploratory, so I don’t have a lot of comments in terms of timelines; we typically figure out during the current week what we’re going to do in the coming week. To communicate, we’ve integrated them into our Slack channel.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their attention to our business — not just our engagement — has been impressive.
To elaborate, when searching for development resources that understand our tech stacks, other companies simply find people with experience in those technologies and send us their resumes. By contrast, Synergo takes a step back and talks about the project’s criteria. They want to understand our goals from a business perspective over time. The team asks us what our pipelines will look like 2–3 months into the future.
After that, they assemble a team that has the right balance between a team leader and individual contributors. In other words, the team they provide is truly tailored to the nature of our business, which offers greater value than simply finding resources with relevant skills.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Bring Synergo into the project early. Make them a partner in the planning process and not just during the project’s execution.

Custom Web Development for Neurotherapy Education Platform
"They’re focused on helping us achieve a seamless experience."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of marketing for NeuroField. We’re made up of three companies. First, we serve clients in a clinic in Santa Barbara, which currently combines neurotherapy and psychotherapy practices. We also manufacture hardware and software for neurotherapy. Finally, we have the School of Neurotherapy, where we train clinicians on using neurotherapy in their practice through our online platform. Additionally, I’m a program manager for the school.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
The school had a website based on WordPress, and it had many functional and UX/UI issues. We brought in Synergo Group to address some of those problems and improve our students’ experience.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, Synergo Group has created a new membership portal to enhance the UX. Members can now sign in and see all the courses that they’re entitled to. There’s email automation on the backend, and users have a dashboard that gives them access to their recorded content.
They’ve also created a new section that integrates course registration. This feature combines our offerings for our live and recorded classes. Before, we had a separate platform to register people for live events, and now we can do that within the school site.
Additionally, Synergo Group has redesigned the homepage by adding layers and fixing some issues with WordPress.
What is the team composition?
Our account manager is our primary contact. We also have a developer, but I don’t know if he has additional staff working for him.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
We got a referral. I come from an agency background, so I called people I’d worked with in the past and asked them for a referral.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $10,000–$12,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in April 2021. They’ve finished two scopes of work, and we’re getting ready to initiate a third.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our overall customer satisfaction has increased significantly, and the homepage is more intuitive. Students can direct themselves to what they’re looking for without calling for information. When I first came on to the company, probably 40% of my day consisted of fielding calls from students who couldn’t access the site or were confused about how to navigate it.
Now, people are empowered to use the site without questions. Moreover, thousands of students are using the site. They’re all clinicians and doctors, so they have a high level of expectation. Synergo Group has created a seamless experience for them.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve been impressed with their project management. We have weekly meetings where they inform us of the project status, which has been really helpful. Since I have so many things on my plate, I’ve appreciated having someone else tracking the project.
We use Asana, so they’ve plugged into it when they’ve needed to. We’ve communicated through meetings and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Not only do they understand how to build a site, but they also understand that our goal is about the UX. They’re focused on helping us achieve a seamless experience.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You should have a detailed creative brief and a clear understanding of your objectives, with the user and UX at the top of your mind. Those things are vital for any engagement.

MVP Dev for Capital Markets Startup
"Synergo is very professional and very well-trained. They have good experience and know how it's done."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO of a startup in the capital markets space.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We hired Synergo to build our MVP.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Synergo is building a web app for banking operations. This app is meant to help users quickly find information related to regulations and settlements — information that would otherwise take a long time to google or look up in internal policies.
The team is building a market holiday calendar, which is a relatively simple product per se. What's special about this calendar is that, unlike others that are available in the market right now, users can select multiple markets and holiday types at a time.
Synergo is also developing regulatory reporting dynamic forms which are backed by a rules engine.
What is the team composition?
It's not a large team because the product itself is really simple. There’s one project manager and two developers working with us.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
We were looking for companies that had worked specifically on financial products. This, to us, was a good indicator that they would be able to build what we needed. We had initially contacted a few companies from the US and from India, but I eventually searched for companies that are based in Toronto simply out of interest. We found Synergo on Clutch, though they didn't come up in our initial searches.
We went through introductions with other companies and compared them to one another, and by the end of that process, it was very clear we wanted to work with Synergo. We then asked them to provide references whom we could contact and got really good feedback about the team's work. It was a very easy decision to make from there.
How much have you invested with them?
For our MVP, we've spent around $14,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started to work in April 2021and it is still ongoing. We will be done with the initial phase of development within the next couple of weeks.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Going by our observations and the feedback that we've gotten from Synergo’s references, they're obviously very competent and quick to understand what we need. I appreciate that a lot because other companies require a lot of hand-holding.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
The team also works very efficiently. They don't waste time on unnecessary administrative processes but they still make sure that everything is well-documented in Jira. I, myself, have worked on large projects in banks, and I see that their project management is no different. This is to say that Synergo is very professional and well-trained. They have good experience and know how it's done.
We can reach out to whomever we need. We know who works on what and can speak with them directly about anything. However, if it's related to the overall project, invoicing, or management, we speak directly with the CEO. Our meetings are very straight to the point which is another thing I appreciate.
We touch base once a week through Google Meet and communicate through Jira and Slack.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Synergo Learns very quickly. What we asked, especially in terms of the decisions and rules engine, was not easy to understand in the beginning. However, the team spent a lot of time trying to wrap their heads around how the components work to be able to quickly develop the rest of the product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would like to see more consistency in terms of communication. Since we're working on a small project and have a small team, each member is bound to have their own style. While some members are communicative and will clarify everything, others give us radio silence, which is a little bit concerning since we wouldn't know what they're working on or whether they're on the right path. However, we were always reassured when we saw what was delivered down the line which, more often than not, exceeded our expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They might be slightly more expensive than other companies, but they are worth the extra dollars. In a sense, Synergo can build things a little faster while thinking about the project in the long term.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of Rebel Cactus. We develop, produce, and sell smartwatches for children.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
Since the smartwatches had a tiny display, we wanted a mobile application that had a more suitable UI for children. We didn’t have the skills in-house, so we needed a partner to develop the app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We split the deliverables into different phases. We had an idea of what the design should look like, and they then offered some design mockups. From there, they worked on the design phase and the front- and backend development.
They used Unity to develop five gaming apps and one studio platform app.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Alex (Senior Software Engineer), a frontend developer, and a backend developer.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
Someone on LinkedIn was promoting software experts abroad, and Synergo Group was one of them. In the Netherlands, this type of work is quite expensive, so I decided to get information on companies abroad. I looked at three companies and chose Synergo Group.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent €20,000 (approximately $24,500 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from November 2020–April 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The game apps were preinstalled on the smartwatch and are now in mass production. The studio platform went to the App Store. We have a few hundred users who downloaded the studio platform, and it worked out well with them. The team’s level of expertise was high. I had desires of what I wanted, but I’m not a technical guy, so it was sometimes difficult for them because they had to do rework. However, they were patient and gave me feedback on whatever choice I made. In the end, I was pleased with what they presented to me.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management worked quite well with the many iterations we had. We didn’t use any planning tools. They gave us new releases for us to check, and they then made any needed changes and moved onto the next step. They brought an agile approach to the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were flexible throughout the project and understood our needs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’d be great if they communicated the consequences certain decisions could have on the end product.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be specific on what you want. Insist that they keep all of their team members up to date on the last changes.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of KlikFix. We’re a startup that operates an app.
What challenge were you trying to address with Synergo Group?
We hired Synergo to build our app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Synergo initially provided us with design services, allowing us to plan the app’s look. Their team then built the app, including the API. During the development, they also consulted us. While we had a preconceived notion for the app, their team helped us figure out what we needed for functionalities and other aspects of the product.
They helped us set up various accounts to support the business too. Their team created a Stripe account, a developer’s account, and an account for an email management system.
Now, their team’s helping us upload the app to the App Store and Google Play. Their team will help us fix glitches and make any changes on an ongoing basis.
What is the team composition?
We work with anywhere between 5–7 people from Synergo. I’ve worked with a project manager, designers, and developers.
How did you come to work with Synergo Group?
I found them a couple of years ago while searching for development agencies with the necessary skills that fit our budget. I read online reviews, and Synergo had good reviews. I interviewed 5–10 other companies but decided to work with Synergo based on their price and my conversation with their team.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $55,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership began around August 2018, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We just launched the platform in the Google Play store. Synergo delivered a functional app, which was the project’s goal.
How did Synergo Group perform from a project management standpoint?
Synergo set deadlines and met the deadlines. If there has been a delay, their team has let me know. They’ve also kept me on track. Their project management works well, and we usually communicate through email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Synergo’s promptness and responsiveness have been two of their greatest characteristics.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, any hold-ups throughout the project have been on my part.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Communicate your requirements and goals. Synergo will be able to deliver.
Though the site isn't live to the public yet, Synergo Group has been responsive throughout the project, earning a positive review. They have adapted to a new industry and stand out from the client's previous partners in terms of their easy change-integration process. They are communicative.
