Tropical Audubon Society is an environmental non-profit. We are a chapter of the National Audubon Society. Our Mission: Conserve and restore South Florida ecosystems, focusing on birds, other wildlife and their habitats." I am the Communications Director.
For what projects/services did your company hire Superlative Creative, and what were your goals?
Our website was outdated. Since we didn't have an in-house webmaster we needed to hire someone to assist us with first archiving our historical records located on our Bird Board, archiving our entire website, and managing the transfer of our domain from a WordPress-type platform to SquareSpace. Our goal was to increase traffic to our website without losing historical data, while improving the visitor experience with new content and reader-friendly donation forms.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Superlative Creative based on recommendations, pricing and how easy they were to work with. The owner was responsive and generous with his time and expertise before we hired him to make sure we were the right fit and assure me that his team could perform some of the tasks unique to our website.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several kick-off meetings to discuss the technical aspects of archiving our Bird Board webpage records, an online forum for the South Florida Birding Community. We also discussed options for archiving the entire website. Andres met my website team and we discussed the schedule for each step of the process including the order of tasks and the requirements for transferring our Domain so that we could go "live" with our new platform. Superlative Creative essentially was able to backup our Ruby on Rails forum to our Amazon storage account so that it was user-friendly for our website visitors. They also connected our domain to the SquareSpace Platform.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with the owner, Andres, and one of his employees.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Superlative Creative handled the archiving of key pages on our website as well as the entire website, and transferred the domain very efficiently and with no technical issues. We were extremely happy with the service as there were no disruptions, no downtime and no glitches! Website traffic increased dramatically and our members gave us positive feedback about the new website. Importantly, Andres was able to handle a technically difficult archiving of historical data that we were unable to handle in-house.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had several meetings via google meetups and Andres was available by phone whenever we needed him. The team was pleasant, straightforward and efficient with our time. They were very responsive to our emails, phone calls and texts even while on vacation.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They helped give us a professional site and handled the technical work associated with archiving content, website quality, and domain management. What I especially liked about this company was their willingness to help us troubleshoot many issues associated with our website even though they might have been beyond the scope of our contract. I felt that they truly cared about the success of our project. Our website launch could not have gone smoother. It was a huge success.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None that I can think of.

As the director have events and programs for Arts & Business Council of Miami, part of my responsibility has been the development and upkeep of websites for the various programs we manage.
For what projects/services did your company hire Superlative Creative, and what were your goals?
We needed a new website for our Arts Board Match program, one that would function sort of like a “dating match” service, connecting arts board with potential board members from the business sector.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Our Director chose Superlative Creative based on pricing, recommendations and how easy they are to work with. Discussing the needs of our website with Andres helped to define the focus and direction of the overall site design and function.

We meet over several weeks to develop the design and functionality of the website. Andres was able to provide a task list based on our needs and stayed on schedule and on budget for the duration of the project.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with Andres. While he probably had other team members working with him, Andres maintained communication with us directly, which helped with keeping things organized.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The website was a success and continues to be an important part of our programs. In addition to maintaining the site through necessary upgrades and more, we have asked for assistance with other websites because of how easy he is to work with.

Andres and his team are efficient and effective. He has become an extension of our team, making himself available for any questions or concerns we may have. If there is ever an issue with a website update or some functionality, he is always available and his extensive knowledge has been a great asset.

Superlative Creative is friendly and committed to the success of their clients. He works diligently and doesn’t stop until he has completed a task and so far he hasn’t said no to any of our requests!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can’t think of anything.
