I am quite impressed with the work they’ve done and how they’ve coordinated everything. They have delivered high-quality work.

They were amazing in terms of management and also worked with the agreed-upon budget. I paid 30% after seeing the demo, another 30% after the project was sent to the market, and the final payment will be paid after testing. In terms of communication, we used email and Google Meet.

They have efficient technologies and are also very affordable. I was looking for a company that could work with my budget and was happy to find them. Their work satisfied me, as they customized the website to my liking.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Due to the different time zones, communication can sometimes take time because they needed my approval on certain things. It's not a problem because they need my consent before deciding on anything.

I’m a product manager at Prime Firms. I look after IT projects and the features of our web app. I also coordinate with the development team, which is Suffescom Solutions.

We went to them to develop our app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Suffescom Solutions is developing our web platform using PHP and MySQL from scratch: their work is not based on an existing app or template. They also use Bootstrap and React for the frontend. In addition, they’re developing our hybrid mobile app, and it’s still in the early stages.

We gave them a pdf containing all the functionalities, deadlines, and other information they needed. We also asked them to sign an NDA. We didn’t have very specific ideas in terms of design, but Suffescom Solutions showed us a couple of examples. We just wanted a simple interface that was easy to load and easy to see; we didn’t want a complicated design.

The platform connects local vendors to suppliers and customers. An example would be connecting a business that sells scrap locally to a person that buys scrap in bulk. Vendors can list all their services in detail on our portal and have themselves found. It’s a mixture of B2B and B2C, and sales are done exclusively through bids. As a business model, we charge a small commission on the winning bid.

We’re focusing only on development for now, and they’re currently revitalizing the prototype they showed us. After we have a good app and web portal, we’ll start considering a marketing company in our budget.

The team consists of one project manager, three web developers, three mobile developers, and one designer. The project manager is my sole point of contact, and I only talked to their senior developer a few times about the functionalities I wanted.

Our total project cost is $50,000, and I’ve paid them $30,000–$35,000 so far.

Our project started in July 2021, and it’s ongoing. The project is 50% done.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’d been in contact with some local firms before Suffescom Solutions, but they failed to deliver what I was looking for. Suffescom Solutions has done a good job, but I know that no company could perfectly satisfy my expectations. There would always be something missing in software development. I’d rate the team almost a perfect score since they’ve met my expectations.

How did Suffescom Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They generally have good communication skills, but there have been a couple of times when they misunderstood me and delivered something different from what we requested. Most of the issues have been related to the bidding functionality we wanted.

We use Teams for live chat and video calls, and Trello for product reports, hourly reports, project management, and assigning tasks. I prefer recording the audio or video calls to compare against their weekly reports.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have reasonable prices for their web and mobile app development services. Other companies I’ve been in touch with asked me for $100,000 for the same work. The price Suffescom gave us was half of that and that’s great because we’re a startup.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They should consider extending their working hours. They don’t work on holidays and weekends. If they’re working with someone that wants their project delivered as soon as possible, they should extend their working days to include Saturday and Sunday.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

They offer affordable services, but you should have some idea of the concept and design you want them to create. If you do that, you won’t have a hard time explaining what you need to them. In our case, we faced too many issues with the auction functionality we wanted to implement and their developers found it too hard to understand what it is and how it works.

They have strung me along for 10 months when they promised my partner and I, the app will be completed in 2-3 months.

We've shared the importance of timeline needing the app to be completed and PRINCE has shown any effort to get done. When shared we lost partnerships, money, deals, and time they showed no remorse. PRINCE has been our person of contact and the overseer of the project and is the worst Supervisor/manager. I just want to purchase the white label but he refuse sell to me and stopped responding.

This company is the worst company I've ever encountered.

They cost us partnership, money, deals, and time!

I needed quality user interface expertise, and I was also looking for simplicity in design. Those were the top two requirements that I was hoping Suffescom would deliver on, and they did. They built a WordPress website that includes information about our business. In the beginning, we started with an initial project scope, “This is what I want and what I'm looking for,” and then Suffescom provided a prototype based on that scope. I’ve shown this website to a few of my partners, and it has generated positive feedback for the most part. The quality of Suffescom’s work can be seen in the functionality of the website and its ease of use, simplicity, and user experience design.

How did Suffescom perform from a project management standpoint?

I was the main project manager because my company is pretty much a startup. The entire project was run through Agile, and all of the website’s deliverables basically were achieved via Scrum and story points. That way, we were able to make sure that Suffescom was continuously delivering on the product, which they did exceptionally well. We communicated mostly via email, and then we used Skype for video calls and screen shares.

Suffescom has done a great job. I would say their technical expertise is top-notch, and their communication skills are also great.

I can hardly think of anything. Despite our five-and-a-half-hour time difference, Suffescom Solutions was always available for a chat or Skype call.

Being less anonymous and putting real names and faces to the business would be helpful, and would create a more personal business relationship. I'm struggling to recall any particular names from Suffescom Solutions' team.

 The project was successful. We had some changes in the middle of the project, and I know that was challenging for them. I appreciated their patience and flexibility in working through those changes. I was happy with the technical work and the implementation. I had an expert web developer review the site, and he was happy with it too. I didn’t track any bugs since it wasn’t a complex site. We did our own testing and made changes before the project launched.

It was to complete the development processes of the project.

When we connected, we were three-quarters of the way towards development to completion. We did have all the design files. But there is still one-fourth of the work left where the front-end had to be developed also. Multiple pages were missing, so our developer specifically helped us to fill in those missing design pages and frames. There was some front and backend work as well. We used Mantis for the bugs.

Suffescom needed only a few weeks to get to know the surroundings around the server and the code, which was as expected, and quickly jumped into fixing outstanding issues and current bugs.

Regarding the response, Suffescom was always available and always on regardless of the time difference between the United States and India. We mostly communicated over Skype or by phone, but it was a very quick response always. I am very happy about that.

The developer is senior, and the programmers have tons of years of experience. He’s always willing to learn, and the knowledge that we have is very complicated.
