A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and CTO of a content software company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Sudofy?
We needed help with DevOps.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handle anything on the backend for us, including APIs, infrastructure, and security. The team sets up AWS Elastic Beanstalk, scalable instances, Containers, serverless Lambda, and API infrastructures. They also take care of rate-limiting and hardening the servers. Additionally, they monitor throughput and ensure availability to users. Lastly, they create admin panels for our end as well.
What is the team composition?
We work with 12–15 people from their team. Our teams are tightly integrated.
How did you come to work with Sudofy?
I found them through a referral. I have a lot of other employees in Pakistan. They’re probably the top DevOps shop in Pakistan. The manager there is leading the Amazon local community. They’re the fourth DevOps shop that I’ve tried and the other three just weren’t good enough. Some were way more expensive without being nearly as good. Others, their communication wasn’t good. Sudofy has really taken care of us.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $5,000–$20,000 per month with them over our relationship.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together for three years.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had Amazon engineers look at our DevOps stack and they mention it’s the best they’ve ever seen. In fact, they’re the best DevOps shop that I’ve ever seen. We haven’t had a single day of downtime for our services. They’re very affordable compared to other shops, too. They’ve allowed us to create an incredible infrastructure, stay up and running, and grow our business.
How did Sudofy perform from a project management standpoint?
Our business is running on an entrepreneurial operating system. We have leadership meetings and standups. They participate in our internal meetings. From a technical perspective, we track sprints in ClickUp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They can do a variety of jobs but, when it comes to Amazon DevOps, there’s no better option.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We make improvements all the time together. For example, we’ve improved our QA infrastructure over the years. We’ve also improved design collaboration as well and have an embedded graphic designer on their team.
Sudofy is innovative. They’re not just “yes people”. If you ask them to do something that doesn’t make sense, they’ll come back with a better solution. They bring ideas to the table, which is valuable for us because we want to be the best. They might not be the best fit for a company that just wants them to say yes, all the time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
When you work with companies globally, have respect for their culture and treat them like human beings. When you treat people with respect, they’ll deliver what you need.
Sudofy built an impressive infrastructure for their client and they haven’t had a single day of downtime since working together. In addition to being affordable and delivering exceptional quality, the team is filled with brilliant problem solvers that always deliver above expectations.
