JakiKredyt.pl is an advanced tool for generating loan applications. The client can complete just one multiapplication to generate documents compliant with each of the 17 Polish banks.
Challenge: The biggest challenge was to create an advanced multiapplication that enables checking the offers of 17 Polish banks at a time and generating relevant documents. Our main goal was to develop a usable and functional form, to make users go through the whole application process freely and conveniently.

Duuoo is a platform supporting employee development. The application allows us to plan and conduct effective 1 to 1 meeting and manage feedback in the workplace. Challenge: We had to take over an existing project right away what we did successfully. Goplana is one of the most recognizable brands from Colian Holding - a thriving Polish sweets producer. The company has much more well-known brands as Grześki, Solidarność, Familijne, Hellena, and Jeżyki. Since 1990, Colian has been delivering the highest quality products to markets around the world and has gained a strong position in the Polish market. Our goal was to provide comprehensive support and maintenance for the IT systems of Colian’s key brands.
Challenge: Due to dynamic growth and increased demands in the IT area, our client was looking for a solid partner for long-term cooperation. We quickly take over existing projects and maintain internal IT systems, customer websites, and servers. Due to the multitasking nature of the work, we had to ensure a smooth takeover of projects and a well-organized transition.

Hevea is a popular brand that has been producing high-quality mattresses for babies and children. The brand achieved success in the industry, and the quality of products is mirrored by certificates and a recommendation of the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw.
Challenge: Hevea was looking for an experienced partner to modernize and automate their production process by creating inventory management software. For what projects/services did your company hire Studio Software, and what were your goals?
We needed to add new modules to our product (device-management software), for example, a calendar module that helps our administrator define events for different devices and locations.
Our goal was to meet our clients’ expectations and provide high-quality modules, as they have been waiting for these solutions for a long time. As a result, we hired Studio Software to help us achieve our business goals.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Studio Software was referred by one of our trusted contacts. They could kick the project off quickly, met our technical requirements, and presented a flexible approach. We also had an opportunity to meet their engineers during early interviews, and we were impressed by the knowledge and approach they brought to the table.

They are mainly involved in developing the modules for our product. One of the most important was a calendar that manages different events for specific dates. All of the events are connected to our devices, located all over the country.
On one hand, they present a high commitment to the project and can develop diverse IT solutions; on the other, they follow a smooth management process and present efficient communication methods, which is an excellent skill set.
The project was built with PHP and React.js. We started cooperation in the middle of the year, and the first module was delivered on time, after three months.

We work with two backend and two frontend developers, two testers, and a project manager.

What is more, it is great to cooperate with a partner who really understands your needs and presents many innovative ideas. The team also shared valuable insights about our system and produced some improvements to make it more stable and efficient.

They present a very efficient workflow. We’re running the project in Jira, and the documentation is based on Notion. We also use other tools for clear communication and meet every week using Google Meets. They really care about transparent communication and are highly responsive during the project. Their planning process is excellent, and they could deliver the solutions quickly. Our cooperation is ongoing.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We are impressed with the way they organize their work - they were able to kick off the project quickly and helped us achieve our goals. However, what stands out the most about them is their proactive attitude and ability to bring helpful ideas to the table, and the way they build relationships with their clients.

At the very beginning, we faced a challenge regarding team rotations, which was difficult at the early stage of the cooperation. Fortunately, Studio Software has met the challenge with a proven process to organise their work.

They were very transparent from day one. What I appreciate the most, is that they inform you not only about the successes, but also provide detailed information about problematic issues, and present ideas for the best possible outcomes. The whole cooperation is well organized, process-driven, and at the same time, I know what to expect at every step of the project.

Studio Software helped me achieve my main business goal, which was becoming the number one educational platform for students on the Polish market. What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Software?
We were looking to find a software company that was affordable but had the level of expertise to develop a complex a SaaS platform.
What was the scope of their involvement?
It’s an open social and health behavioral tracking and inventiveness platform. We’re bringing gamification methodology to incentivize better health outcomes. I brought them a code base that needed refactoring, and we started out slow. Once I was confident that they could execute and understand the platform, we began to ramp up. We worked with PHP, specifically Laravel.

There a project manager, and front- and backend developer.
How did you come to work with Studio Software?
We were introduced by a mutual friend. I came to them with because I couldn’t find a company with the expertise that I needed. I explained my challenges and what my concerns were and went from there.

We started in September 2019 and it’s ongoing.

We’re going to launch and release the beta soon. We have a couple beta clients and we’ve started to design around the platform. We did a lot of user testing and the functionality has performed well. They’ve been able to deliver what I imagined.

Project management has been good. Obviously, we always want it faster and cheaper, but the quality is really good. We used Slack and Jira to communicate back and forth.

They really desire to get it done the way we want it. That’s the best thing about working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There always room for improvement. The project has taken longer than we originally planned but that may be partially my team’s responsibility. I’ve also urged them to speak up when they don’t understand something. At first, they would just go with what they thought it was. So, it took a while to get the communication going.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Create a super clear project proposal and hold daily stand-up meetings. We also took our sprints from two weeks to one week. We found that two weeks was a little long to stay disconnected. So, compressed timelines have helped us drop more features.

We have created the first open service in Poland to estimate creditworthiness, compare many loans, generate and automatically fill in applications simultaneously to several banks. I am the Product Owner and I am responsible for marketing.

The original version of the website required improvement in terms of the user interface, which was unintuitive and had an outdated design. In addition, the mechanisms used to administrate the process of generating documents for the website user required optimization.
What were your goals for this project?
The purpose of cooperation with Studio Software was to design and implement a new website interface that allows the user to use its functions in the easiest way possible - i.e., in particular, to be able to easily compare mortgage loan offers and generate a set of documents needed to send loan applications. In addition, we needed to thoroughly rebuild the mechanisms for handling customer requests.

The project began with a thorough analysis of our business needs and creating a list of key functionalities and priorities. The project was implemented in 2-week sprints. At each stage, we could count on a number of suggestions that helped develop optimal solutions on both the backend and frontend.

There were several people involved in the project from Studio Software side - 1x Project Manager, 1x Graphic Designer, 2x Backend developer, 1x Frontend developer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Software?
We needed someone to develop our e-commerce site.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed our e-commerce shop for all of our sweets brands. It’s a complex e-commerce site—we have 300 SKUs. They used PHP and Magento to develop the site. They also did the graphics and UX for the shop.
We went to their office in the beginning to discuss the UI/UX of the e-commerce shop. We’d go over their designs, and they’d provide us with insights. We’re now on the second version, and they continue to do updates.

We needed support to develop our digital platform to automate the process of matching requests from production companies with the right service provider.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Studio Software developed the backend of our site, including the APIs and database, and the frontend using HTML. They also manage hosting for us using AWS.
Our CTO is a platform architect familiar with software solutions so we initially specified a lot of user flows and programming details ourselves which we would then forward to Studio Software to implement. As we started to collaborate, we realized they could help us develop solutions and provide insights into new technologies. The relationship shifted to them taking more initiative to develop solutions, coming up with proposals and providing consulting services to us.

The CEO was the main contact for contracting and initiating the project. We work with him and another partner on strategic decisions. We also work directly with the two developers plus a project lead.
How did you come to work with Studio Software?
We found them on a German website through which we came up with a list of possible partners. We also looked at their reviews on Clutch which gave us more background on why we should have a more in-depth discussion with them.

We’ve spent about 27,000€ (approximately $30,100 USD) so far.

We started working together in September 2018 and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They built our entire platform. The idea, the specifications, and some customization has come from us but they built it. It works well and there are very few bugs. We’ve had a perfectly complementary path to executing our vision with them.
How did Studio Software perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate using Slack and have regular calls. From time to time, we had some transparency issues when we weren't 100% sure of their level of effort or capacity on our project but we got into a rhythm and things improved. Overall, we’re satisfied.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We most appreciated their consultancy support, which evolved over the course of the project. They were thinking with us: they didn’t just build what we told them to but got involved in the content of the topic.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As a startup, we’re watching every euro we spend. There was some lack of transparency early on about how much we were spending based on their time spent. They could have been clearer about the status of the project so we could more efficiently manage budgets and time. It’s also a lesson learned for us as we could have been more strict.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust in their experience and abilities for platform development. We overspecified at the outset but they had very good ideas. Provide them with the time to get involved in the content—and they’ll provide you with great solutions.

I’m the CEO of a self-storage company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Software?
We were developing new services for automatic self-storage.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Studio Software built the software that serves as the base of my company. They had worked on a similar project in Poland for automatically opening apartments, which includes a special system that allows apartment owners to send answers to clients automatically. They offered the same system to us, and we adapted it to our expectations.
Studio Software set it up so that clients can visit our site, specify the number of boxes they want, pay online, and have invoices created automatically. It was important for us to have a good customer journey online, ensuring that they could do what they needed to quickly. Our second requirement involved security. Our self-storage facilities have special locks, and we didn’t want hackers to get access to them.

Our project manager and theirs had sprint meetings every 1–2 weeks. They gave us updates for every sprint. I’m the manager of Mobile Laboratory. We test windows and doors to assure they are up to standard for the end-users.
What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Software?
We wanted a software solution that allowed users to make simple calculations for window and door parameters.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Studio Software handled the majority of the work, so I don’t have much information on the technical elements of the system. The delivered project was a website that lets users calculate parameters for window and door orders. Additionally, we can use the platform to document all of our laboratory activities, then our client can create an official certificate for the product, which allows them to go to market.
Studio Software continues to work on the program as it evolves from the first to the second stage. The software is fully functioning, but we’re still making improvements. They’re currently implementing additional tools and features to the platform.

We worked on the first stage of the project for four months. Now, we’re in the second stage, which is expected to run for another four months.

I don’t have much to say in terms of results, given that we’re still working toward the final product. That being said, we expect it to have a significant, positive impact on our business and improve market presence. Our customers have asked for a simple tool like this website, so we expect a notable return on our investment.

It’s been a very smooth engagement. After deciding to partner with their team for this project and established a schedule, we immediately started working. We’re consistently on time and there hasn’t been any issues or obstacles.
We have very good inter-team communication. Usually, we speak over the phone, but we also email or meet in person if necessary. It’s easy to contact them with comments, requests, feedback, or anything business related. We appreciate their level of involvement. No matter the level of difficulty or possible time constraints, their team is always polite and professional.
