We hired them to redesign our website.

Studio Fox redesigned our website. The site is basically used as an information hub for our clients. It shows who we are, what type of products we manufacture, our history, and our services. 

The team also helped us with SEO.

We worked with two people, Fox (Founder) and an SEO resource.

How did you come to work with Studio Fox Design?

I did a Google serach for web designers. I reached out to about a half dozen different vendors, but Studio Fox stood out. They were quick to respond, their pricing was competitive, and we felt they understood what we wanted and could make it happen.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested $12,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November 2020–January 2021. However, if there’s any revisions we feel need to happen, Studio Fox will be there to assist us through that.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The website hasn’t gone live yet, so we don’t have any metrics yet. As far as how we feel it’ll impact our business, we’re confident it will give us the ability to promote our products much more effectively than our previous website. It has much more graphic awareness within the pages, and it tells a good story of who we are as a company. We’re very pleased and extremely excited about what Studio Fox’s work will do for us.

How did Studio Fox Design perform from a project management standpoint?

They hit every deadline we had along the way. We had a very hard deadline and we needed certain milestones to be reached, and Studio Fox stayed on task to hit every single one. They were absolutely outstanding and very patient with our feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed with their professionalism. Everything the Studio Fox did was done in an extremely professional manner. They were quick to answer any questions and were an all-around spectacular team.

Are there any areas they could improve?

To the best of our knowledge and based on what we received, we have no negative feedback for them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t hesitate to reach out to Studio Fox. Negotiate with them as far as what you want from the website design and what your price range is.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Fox Design?

Studio Fox helped me develop my website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the beginning of the engagement, Studio Fox helped me identify the right platform, Shopify. The team took my ideas on brand and served up good samples for me to choose from. We identified how to organize and present our different products and shipping options, which was a bit complex. I shared one of my major goals, which was that I wanted the site to load very quickly; I didn’t want there to be any lag time, so it would be a smooth experience for the customer.

From there, they built the site, which has about 10 pages and includes a blog. Since then, Studio Fox has trained me on how to use the site, which was really important to me.

I worked mainly with Fox (Founder). Along the way, he brought in two or three other people for any specific questions I had. 

How did you come to work with Studio Fox Design?

I had an intern who researched website developers and conducted initial interviews. He brought me the final four vendors, and I interviewed them each and received their proposals. I selected Fox because I felt confident he would deliver what I wanted and not pressure me into taking on a bigger project than I was comfortable. He was very easy to work with, and it was a better fit than with anyone else.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from August–December 2020. The project is done, but Studio Fox is still available for any questions I might have.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The site is live, but it’s password-protected right now since I haven’t launched my company. So far, we’ve run tests. The load speed is very fast and navigating from page to page is easy.

Throughout the project, the first milestone was the draft website, and I was really pleased with it. I was quite surprised with how carefully Studio Fox had listened to my branding ideas and extracted details from the general vision I gave. It was spot on. 

Studio Fox was also really helpful in connecting me with other vendors that were affordable. They connected me with a copyeditor, which was super helpful. 

I’m also very impressed with the fact that they trained me on how to edit the site. Instead of building it and making me dependent on them, they taught me how to do everything myself.

How did Studio Fox Design perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication was great, they did a really good job. I’ve dealt with a lot of different businesses, and Studio Fox’s communication was one of the best. They mixed email and phone conversations perfectly. Fox was prepared on every call, and his response time was amazing. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can’t say enough about him. I’ve already recommended Studio Fox to friends who are starting a business. They’re the perfect vendor.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. Studio Fox communicated well and listened well. They didn’t pressure me to do anything I didn’t want to do, yet they often offered up different ideas. They delivered, they were approachable, and they have a strong network. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Feed Studio Fox as many thoughts as you have, even if they’re not well developed, because they’ll be able to reply back with a lot of different choices. Don’t be shy about providing underdeveloped ideas, because they can still move those forward.

I’m the owner of Advanced EV USA, a golf carts manufacturer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Fox Design?

We were looking to create a portal where multiple dealers could create a profile to access shared documents, place orders, and register warranty data.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We started with an introductory call and I provided a scope of work. Then they created a mockup of the website. We looked at how my scope translated into the mockup and from there refined the platform. Then we had a third call to go over the changes before they went into development. Finally, they built the entire platform from scratch.

I searched online and was interested in working with 5­–6 different providers. I chose Studio Fox design because their pricing was the best and their capabilities were in line with what I was looking to achieve.

The project lasted from September–December 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, I’m happy with the final product. By centralizing where my dealers and customers can pull data from, we’ve been able to reduce the amount of time salespeople spend speaking directly with dealers.

They were prompt at meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re reliable. I know when I speak to Fox, he’ll be able to take everything from there.

There wasn’t anything they needed to improve on.

I assist with the marketing portion of the Midwest Fish Co-Op, a startup. In the Midwest, we have a really big problem with invasive fish, particularly Asian carp. We’re trying to remove the invasive fish and then distribute them for different uses, whether that’s human consumption, fertilizer, or things like that.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Fox Design?

We hired them to create our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Studio Fox Design designed our website. This is a new project, so we have very little information; despite how little we gave them to work with, he made the site very interesting. He added a video and background to the homepage to add some effects. He did a lot with what we gave him.

We just worked with one person.

Our CEO recommended that we use him. I believe he found them online, because he had not yet used them either.

We spent less than $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project took place in June 2020. They launched the site in just a few days.

Since this is new and we’re definitely going to grow, we’ll probably continue using them. As of right now, it’s a complete and working website. I imagine we’ll have to be in touch in the future to update a lot of things.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Given the very quick turnaround time, we thought we’d get a site that was good enough for the time being; however, the site is great, and we’ve decided to keep it exactly as is. We were very impressed because we threw the project at him with very little information. We just asked for a small, nice-looking website with about three pages. He made it happen, with minimal direction and just a bit of text from us.

How did Studio Fox Design perform from a project management standpoint?

He was very efficient and professional. He took direction and listened to us. Also, if we needed something changed right away, he was very good about getting on top of that and doing things pretty immediately.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t personally worked with a lot of other web developers, but I was really impressed by how quickly they were able to think on their feet. When we asked him to complete the project within a couple of days, and we didn’t give him anything to go off of, he not only delivered a working website but also made it so that we want to keep it pretty much exactly as it is. He was quick to think with very little to go off of.

He was also very responsive when we needed last-minute things put in there. He was helpful in that he respected our deadlines and knew that we needed to have it up for a particular date.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not based on this.

Any advice for potential customers?

Tell him what you want and give him your direction, whether that is very minimal direction or an exact idea. He will take whatever you say and make it look professional. Communicating with him is the biggest thing.

I’m the VP of brand partnerships with Overdeliver Entertainment, which manages a digital platform for Sway Calloway, a TV and radio personality, called swaysuniverse.com. I oversee our digital experience on all of our platforms.

What challenge were you trying to address with Studio Fox Design?

We brought in Studio Fox Design to help us improve our UX and help with ad setup. Prior to the engagement, our site was not good. Previous attempts to work with third-party developers had not gone well. Our WordPress CMS was extremely outdated and needed a cleanup. We wanted to try to keep up with our competition, so we decided to build a new UX with Studio Fox Design.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Studio Fox Design performed a holistic redevelopment of the site. They cleaned up the backend and updated WordPress. They simplified the coding and advised on us on transitioning from a self-hosted server to a third-party hosting service to save some money. They helped us understand what works and what doesn’t. Their team also made suggestions about monetization for the platform.

We spent a little under $3,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in July 2018 and it’s still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Studio Fox Design’s efforts significantly increased pageviews and time users spent on the page. The intuitiveness of the site is much better. The average time spent on the site was less than a minute, but now that time has increased.

How did Studio Fox Design perform from a project management standpoint?

I think he did a great job. He outlined the parameters for the project and gave a realistic timeframe, which is something we’ve had trouble with before. Even with the additional aspects that were recommended, we stayed within the scope we had initially planned for. He put a timeline out there and stuck to it.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Studio Fox Design excelled in value and flexibility. Other companies would have cost significantly more. I paid another developer five times what I paid Studio Fox and got terrible results.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I think he could help me see what’s going on with newer technology. I’d like to be able to engage more with social media. I hope he can eventually be able to develop more consultative approaches for that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would just say have your thoughts as organized as possible. Fox is very flexible and has a lot of experience. He has the ability to bring in a bunch of different options. However, if your focus is specific, you should give him those parameters because he can give you a wealth of information.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work as a Medical Liaison for the US market. We are a French dermo-cosmetic company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Studio Fox Design, and what were your goals?

I hired Studio Fox Design to help me build a website dedicated to US physicians. The gools of this project is to build an online platform for physicians, available on multi devices (desktop, mobile, tablet), user-friendly, with a nice look and feel and only accessible by login.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I found Studio Fox Design by typing best digital agencies on google. I read all the clients' testimonies and navigated through their website. I contacted Fox and he was immediately very responsive, quickly proposed a call to better understand the project and my needs.

We had first a kick off meeting to better undertand the scope, needs and goals of the projects. He answered all my questions, made several mock ups on Wordpress, after some modifications, we went into development.

Fox trained me on wordpress to make it easy for me to manage the content. He has always been a great support and even after the launch of the website, he knew how to solve the many problems I was facing with Wordpress.

I was only in contact with Fox, the owner and project manager but I know his whole team worked on it.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

I am still adding new content on the site and the site will be launched in the coming weeks to the doctors. I am very satisfied with Fox and his team work. They are a great support and very easy to reach. They did a great job !

It was very easy to communicate with Fox. We used mostly emails but when needed we switched to calls. Following Fox's recommendations, I used a word to put in a single document all the changes needed. It worked very well

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I never felt alone or in the dark with the webcreation or use of Wordpress. Fox and his team were always here a s great support! It is very easy to communicate with them and they answer very quickly and efficiently.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I had some trouble with uploading some content in Wordpress (images sizes etc) but they were always here to help me fix these issues

The other quotes I received were well beyond my budget, and now I know that my site could not have been better than the one Studio Fox Design built for me.
