"They’ve moved our business in the right direction."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Huntington Alternative Wealth provides people with alternative wealth opportunities, particularly in the precious metals space. I’m the director of sales in the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Strikepoint Media?
We needed to make sure that we were getting proper leads through sourcing, so we engaged Strikepoint for marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the project by figuring out how to tackle our target demographic. We planned with Strikepoint on how to get real leads or people who are interested in the opportunities that we offer. Their team then came up with a good strategy that involves them doing by-ends with different media outlets. Using their knowledge base in the precious metals space, Strikepoint created copies and ads that could help us reach our audience.
What is the team composition?
My main contact, the marketing lead, connects me with five other people from the team. I also speak to some people behind the copies. The managing partner also jumps in on our end-of-the-month calls to make sure that everything is going in the right direction.
How did you come to work with Strikepoint Media?
I believe my boss and Strikepoint shared a mutual friend. Strikepoint has also been supporting another company in the precious metals space, so that’s how the owner of our company came to know of them.
How much have you invested with them?
To date, we’ve spent between $60,000–$70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around July 2021 and we intend to continue our engagement.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve only been gaining leads through Strikepoint’s involvement for two months, and in the precious metals space, it takes 30–60 days to really grow and cultivate a lead from the initial call to closure. Though we’ve seen a handful of deals come through, we’ll be better able to measure the success of the project in the next two months. I will say that so far, we’ve seen a lot of traction and good interest in our business. It is just a matter of cultivating those leads and bringing them to the table.
How did Strikepoint Media perform from a project management standpoint?
The Strikepoint team responds promptly to my messages. They do a great job of keeping us up to date on what they’re doing and what they’re thinking to do. They’re very well organized and give us a lot of insight.
We have meetings at the end of each month to discuss our progress and determine the coming month’s game plan. We communicate, plan, and share documents via Slack. I also frequently text, chat, and hop on Zoom calls with my main contact. Strikepoint has access to our CRM as well. There, they track and trace how leads are coming along, which gives them an idea of what else they can do to support our efforts and make our process more efficient and effective.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Strikepoint has also been instrumental in my development, helping me become more supportive and effective on my end. Our partnership has been really good and they’ve kept us on our toes. They’ve moved our business in the right direction.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there's nothing I can think of. I don't have any complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen attentively to Strikepoint’s feedback because they know what they're doing. Their team has worked in a lot of different spaces, so you can trust them to do the right thing. You’ll find that Strikepoint really strives to develop a communicative mutual relationship and growth opportunities.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Im the owner of a financial research company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Strikepoint Media, and what were your goals?
We were looking for a partner to help us drive leads to our different newsletters/products. Our goal was to generate a steady stream of leads and a specified ROI %.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
For multiple years Strikepoint chatted our team up at conferences. After seeing/ hearing about some of their successful campaigns we pulled the trigger on working with them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
We came to Strikepoint with a vision of what we wanted. We had a funnel mapped out, a sales process in place, and an idea of where to generate the leads. Very quickly, Strikepoint not only helped us refine the idea, but also add components that would help amplify the success and subtract pieces that would be unnecessary in their experience.
The team also helped us learn about and implement new pieces of software that were much better than what we were using at the time.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
At this point we have worked with just about everyone on the team, but we primarily work with the Ad Network team.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We measure our success in ROI%. Our goal is ~60%. With now hundreds of thousands of dollars spent with Strikepoint, I can absolutely say they have exceeded that goal.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have a standing call for every other week, but I must bother them on a daily basis by email and skype. Suffice to say they are always available and ready to help.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They understand our niche, but they are not handcuffed by it. They implement learnings from outside the niche to make our campaigns stand out.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Take more of our money :). We would like to do campaigns that are even more managed by their team, but they need to grow. We will be waiting.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Operations Manager for K9 Lifeline. I oversee the online retail sales, everything from customer support to product design to company-wide decision making.
For what projects/services did your company hire Strikepoint Media?
We initially hired Strikepoint to redesign our website. Last year we redesign our decade-old website, and that new site was no longer providing the speed we needed. Our business was already growing, but then we learned we'd be featured on a television show, and we knew that our business was about to explode. We hired Strikepoint to redesign our website to keep up with our expected volume increase.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Company owner Heather Beck has been familiar with Strikepoint for many years, and having been impressed with the work they've done, we were eager to get their expertise. We were finally in a financial position to afford their great services.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
When we first met, the Strikepoint team discussed with us the things they noticed from our website, things that could be improved. The biggest thing they mentioned was our logo design was dated and needed to be redone, so that is where we started. We described what we were looking for, and then met weekly until we get exactly what we envisioned.
They were patient with us and provided so many options until we were happy. Once the logo design was settled, the new website was built off of the feel of that logo. Everything was so much brighter and more dynamic than our old website. We continued to meet, and they accepted all of our ideas and changes over and over. counseling us when they felt like we could do better.
During the filming of our TV episode, we were required to form an additional brand. Strikepoint took all of our ideas and create exactly what we wanted. It stands on its own, but the logos are intertwined, signifying the union of both companies. Out new sites launched shortly before our TV episode aired. While it wasn't flawless, it was 1000% better than what our old site provided. Strikepoint has continued to work with us and provide us the help we need.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with one of the company owners, a graphic designer, a project manager, and a digital sales rep.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our site is much more user-friendly, and it kept up with the traffic that came as a result of our TV appearance. Our rebranding at our physical facility has also brought in more traffic and helped that part of our business to grow.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We received updates a few times a week via Slack, and if there was something important to discuss or needed to be signed off, we would have a video call. We established deadlines together, and if anything prevented a deadline from being met, it was communicated in advance.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
One thing that was apparent to me early on is how well they have learned from their experience doing this work. Over and over again I would vaguely describe an idea (about the logo, website, etc.) and they would execute it perfectly. I am repeatedly shocked and thrilled because they understand so well.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I knew what the expectations were during the project, but I'm not sure about the expectations after the project's completion. When do they step back and say, "We're done." I wonder if they have a hard time saying "no" to continued service. They have continued to help us months later, and I worry that I'm taking advantage of knowing them, or that I'm going to be hit with a large bill down the road. I just wish that had been made clear.
Though the project is still in its early stages, Strikepoint Media has developed a promising marketing strategy. The team is organized, responsive, and communicative about their progress. The client appreciates their active involvement in making lead generation efforts more effective and efficient.
