I'm owner and Director of LIFT Gyms, a 10,000 sq ft independent gym in Edinburgh.
For what projects/services did your company hire Stargazer, and what were your goals?
We engaged Stargazer Digital to use their end to end lead generation tool to attract new members to the gym and increase membership sales.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Kevin speculatively sent LIFT a video explaining his services and how he could help us. We get multiple emails around this type of service every week but Kevin's stood out so we had a call and decided to give the service a go.

Kevin took the time to understand our business and our member demographic and used this to create content and marketing ultimately leading to a landing page to collect leads and then he uses a system to track the leads and book appointments for them to come and trial the gym at which point we then use our sales techniques to convert them to members.

We work solely with Kevin.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The marketing leads to a landing page where interested parties sign up to a 10 day free pass with LIFT. We then offer them a "day one" joining incentive and maintain communication with them during the free pass with the objective of converting them to members. At any one time we average 45 10 day passes active within the gym.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They are very approachable and proactive, and communication has been very effective.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
An end to end solution for digital marketing creation through to lead generation and follow up.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Potentially recognising that some campaigns offered at other gyms are specific to that type of gym and not suitable for LIFT.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of Superwarm Services, a domestic water heater company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Stargazer?
We needed help with digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Stargazer arranges blogs to go out, do troubleshooting, give domestic households advice on what to get for central heating, and ensure they’re getting the right size of the boiler and aren’t over or undercovered — they give honest opinions on manufacturing brands. They also implemented a new dial-out system and connected it to existing customers.
The digital marketing was for Google Ads, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter — they advised us on everything and then implemented it. The material was a recording of my husband being interviewed by them, and they recorded it through a webcam in the office. It was a Q&A that my husband answered in laymen’s terms so the customer could clearly understand — many problems happen in our industry when engineers start talking too technical.
They currently help with landing pages and structural changes to our website.

Doing Google Ads ourselves, we got 2–3 inquiries a week, but once they came on board, the inquiries jumped to about ten in a week. We saw an immediate increase as soon as we went live with the blogs. By the second year, our business doubled, so I’m 100% satisfied with their work, and they've exceeded expectations.
How did Stargazer perform from a project management standpoint?
Project management is perfect; they stick to timelines and budgets and are very approachable. If I have any problems, they are always available, and If they can assist me in any way, they will. We communicate via phone calls, emails, and regular face-to-face meetings. Also, since we’ve been with them a long time, there’s a personal touch now, so If they don’t answer the phone right away, they give me a thorough explanation of why.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like that we have one point of contact and that they go above and beyond to help with issues outside the project's scope — their customer service is perfect.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't think there's anything they can improve on; I haven’t found anything to fault them, and they've turned our company around.
