I’m the owner of Rabbit Charger.
What challenge were you trying to address with Spread The News Public Relations, Inc?
I hired them to get the news out about our startup and our product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Todd (PR Professional) did PR work. He reached out to print, online, TV, and magazine outlets to spread the news about the product. He also followed up with those who didn’t respond. His work involved sending out email blasts or individual messages.

Todd was my main point of contact.
How did you come to work with Spread The News Public Relations, Inc?
Somebody who helps me with my overseas manufacturing referred me to Spread The News Public Relations, Inc as a lower-cost company that is great with startups.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $10,000–$15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from about April–December 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We got picked up by two big online publications as well as the Today Show and TIME Magazine. All of this helped to get the word out about the product.
How did Spread The News Public Relations, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?
We had touchpoints with Spread The News Public Relations, Inc about once a month. Todd was very responsive, and he would let me know when I was going to get coverage. The project management was loose, which was fine for this project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their cost distinguishes them from others. Having a monthly fee without a retainer was key. Todd was also a low overhead person, and he was able to get a big voice with his network. Spread The News Public Relations, Inc was very upfront and honest about what needed to be done or when to stop with certain efforts.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not that I can think of. I got good value for the money I spent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Set up organized discussions every couple of weeks. Additionally, make sure you know what’s going into the PR work.

I am the founder and CEO of Olens Technology, established in 1997. We invent, manufacture and globally distribute consumer electronic products around the world.
For what projects/services did your company hire Spread The News Public Relations, Inc.?
Several products, beginning with the first portable video entertainment system for vehicles. Spread the News successfully landed us on several TV shows and major magazines and newspapers, including the cover story of Forbes Magazine.
What were your goals for this project?
Our products are always patented unique products, so educating the public is a challenge. We hire Spread the News to globally expose as many people as possible to our products, and also explain the features and benefits of our new products. They have always succeeded in meeting this challenge for all of our products, which is why we have used them for over 20 years.
How did you select this vendor?
They were recommended to us by another inventor/entrepreneur.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They have successfully arranged for our products to be featured on several TV shows, magazines, newspapers, influential bloggers and social media outlets. They have structured the add campaigns and more importantly summarized and delivered the follow-up data after the campaigns.
What was the team composition?
Over the years Spread the News has worked with our marketing team and senior management at our company.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
There are several examples, but two come to mind. One was when one of our products was featured on the DIY Network, a show called "I Want That". Another airing of that same product appeared on the show "Weekend Web with Art Norman". After these shows our sales sky-rocketed.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective. Basically we work with Todd at Spread the News. He asks us very specific questions about the new product, and then he structures the press releases, targeted media outlets, etc. for us. We let them do their job and basically provide them with the information, pictures, videos, etc. that they need.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Very effective and very reasonable fees. Most PR firms wanted ridiculous money and offered less for their crazy high fees. Spread the News is focused on the smaller companies and inventors, and they own that segment. Honestly we stopped looking at other alternatives because it was a waste of time.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I'm sure there are, there always is room for improvement in any company but they appear to have kept up with the times and transitioned to more social media marketing like the rest of the wold, but they have also blended that with more traditional outlets so I think they offer the best of both worlds.

We hired Spread the News PR to help boost our company's profile in mainstream media outlets. We wanted to cement our status as the premier online destination to learn about and purchase bidet products.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to gain national media exposure around the topic of bidets and to establish our site as the #1 resource for bidets. We were looking for online reviews, articles, and spotlights in large online publications to increase our exposure.
How did you select this vendor?
We spoke with a number of firms and ultimately settled on Spread the News because they had done some projects in our space before. We also wanted to avoid larger PR firms that wouldn't give us the attention we felt our project needed. Todd was great in the initial and follow up phone calls and made us feel comfortable with his company.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Their role was to reach out to media contacts and push for editorials/articles/reviews on our bidet products. We also offered ourselves as an expert resource in our field for general information type articles.
What was the team composition?
We worked directly with Todd
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We knew they were doing a good job because when we did land articles and interviews, the journalists would compliment Todd's efforts. They deal with PR firms all day so for them to say that, it validated our decision to work with them. Todd was able to achieve a number of articles and mentions for us, well worth the cost.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very easy to work with, always available to talk.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They're a small PR firm, but they were able to drive real results for us. We scored a number of hits in publications like Fox News, CNET, Allure, and others.

We were happy with the results and communication we received from them.

We wanted to increase sales and become a household brand name.

He reached out to our company and because his pitch was not the usual PR Firm pitch, I hired Spread The News. It started out a 3 month contract, which turned into 9 months, because he was so effective.

Our brand got tremendous attention from national as well as international media, from newspapers, to magazines, to major TV networks, both morning and afternoon shows. It far exceeded our expectations and greatly assisted in making our launch a success. So effective that the contract was extended 6 more months.

Excellent communication, with clippings and data from the press received on a weekly basis.

I was referred to Todd Brabender by someone that had previous successful experiences with him. I also was impressed with his efforts and attentions to understanding our products and goals.

Todd planned a PR campaign targeting the specific media that he felt would give us the exposure that we needed. He kept the communication going with the media for several months and was diligent in contacting me in a timely manner to benefit from his impressive contacts.

We went from being unknown ... to being known worldwide with sales in several countries, and continue to be the only source for golf ball massager tools all over the world.

The workflow and communication could not have been better.

Spread The News PR is the only company I recommend because there are so many PR companies that really aren't effective. I was blown aways with the contacts and connections that Todd made for us. I have a new product line (in a different industry) that I'm already working into the budget for Todd to perform his magic again.

As of today, no.
