I’m the operating manager at VANT Panels, an e-commerce home decor brand.
What challenge were you trying to address with Sprague Media?
We wanted to have a good social media advertising agency to run our social ads, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snap. At a previous agency, we kept losing our return on ad spend, so we were struggling with our ROI on scaling.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Sprague Media does our social media marketing. They optimize and manage all of our social media ads every month, create content, and respond to comments and questions.
Initially, they didn’t do the extensive research and discovery; we provided that. They directed us and gave us recommendations on structural changes for the website. Also, they showed us how to backlink platforms to our website.

There are four people in our team, including a project manager.
How did you come to work with Sprague Media?
They were recommended to me. We got some good references on Sprague Media.

We’ve spent between $60,000–$100,000.

We started working together in February 2019, and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve had a really great experience with Sprague Media. Sam (Founder & CEO) is an amazing person, and he’s very efficient. We haven’t had any issues at all with him. He got us rolling very quickly — we were fully up and running within a month after we initially made contact.
At first, we started with a smaller budget. Sprague Media was very detailed in terms of when we'd be ready to go up to scale and spend more. They weren’t spending at a point where we were losing. Overall, they took very good care of our account and really delivered.
With our previous agency, we used to spend $2,000–$3,000 a month. When we hit $5,000–$10,000 with the agency, our ROI went down to 200%, which was below where we wanted it to be.
Sprague Media has taken us from that 200%–300% ROI to a 700%–800% ROI and kept it at scale. Currently, we’re spending $30,000–$40,000 and our ROI is between 600%–1,000%, so it’s definitely been a major improvement. They’ve shown us that they know what they’re doing.
How did Sprague Media perform from a project management standpoint?
The project management is very good — they run smoothly and are on top of everything. We communicate once a week via Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They really understand how to read numbers, and they know how to read data between the lines. Sprague Media is really good at analyzing data and understanding what needs to be tweaked accordingly.

They could offer more services, like video creation.

We were working with a different vendor on our Facebook advertising campaigns, but we were not entirely satisfied. We wanted to find a new vendor to help us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Sprague Media analyzed our situation and then jumped straight into creating our ads. They also came up with a new strategy for us and corrected the problems we had because of the other agency. As they're implementing our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, they're changing things on a daily basis. If something isn't working, they try a different approach. They create most of the content for the campaigns, make videos, and do photo shoots.
