We needed a website, so we contacted SPLIT Development. We needed an effective tool for our online sales.

We hired them for the frontend design of our website, using AngularJS. We gave them a description of what we were looking for, and they gave us an offer based on that. We liked how they handled the design process, so we hired them to implement the frontend as well.

I worked with three people from SPLIT: their CEO, a project manager, and a designer. We spoke on a daily basis.

We found them through Upwork and though we considered a few groups for the website design, SPLIT gave us the best proposition. We also liked their portfolio.

We started working with them two months ago. We’re still working on the backend code of the website.

Their work was very high quality, and they were very flexible. They delivered more than what we asked for. They listened to all our comments, and they applied changes accordingly. It’s been a good experience.

They performed excellently—they did everything they were supposed to do, and they did it well. We used Skype to stay in constant contact with their project manager.

They produced two different designs for us, which they were working on at the same time. They had a backup plan when we didn’t like the first version.

No. They’re professional and they worked within the deadlines we provided.

As we're IT guys ourselves, we managed the whole project for the end customers. We assigned SPLIT guys for Shopify customization. We provided all the inputs, and then communicated them directly to customer's team. The guys installed and customized Shopify theme real quick. They asked for all the requirements, so nothing was to be missed.

Project delivered with quality and within terms, that may not sound fancy, but those who's in IT industry will agree that it's not that common here ;)

We ourselves are using Slack for work communications, so we'll be quite happy SPLIT guys using it as well. So there was no single problem with communications.

Guys are professional, available, and honest. The last is the most important.

Wish them increase their expertise in Shopify development, custom apps, integrations, etc.

We had an immediate requirement to extend the functionality of our existing website. Split development we hired to design and code these pages in HTML / CSS / Javascript.

We have an immediate requirement to update our website with some new content. We require 2 new pages to be designed following the colour scheme of our existing website. These 2 new pages will contain text / flat icons (to be designed) with 3 animated CSS based counters and a banner at the top.

We also need a cookie pop-up message. The site is originally based on Middleman (ruby framework), so having experience with static site generators is a plus but otherwise, the skills we need are with HTML, CSS, Photoshop & Illustrator and some minor Javascript.

Micro interaction/animation. They made them even if in a first instance our design team didn't think about them. We greatly appreciated the extra-effort.
