The client wanted to update his existing project — a proprietary platform for health state monitoring and digital immunity management. The platform is integrated with leading laboratory research providers and delivers seamless digital COVID-19 testing solutions for organizations, health practitioners, and individuals.
The main challenges our client faced were as follows:
- to stabilize core features like personal account management, the marketplace, payments, repayments;
- get & share info about customer’s laboratory inquiries and results,

Solution

The client wanted to expand its front-end, back-end, and QA resources through bringing in external development expertise for his product.

Challenge
“eSports Tournament Platform” provides gamers an easy way to compete and increase excitement while playing their favorite esports titles. The players can choose from various matchmaking modes (1v1, 2v2, 5v5, dedicated servers for official tournament games). All the players can talk and socialize either via Live Chat or Public/Dedicated Groups. Also, the “Prime” micropayment service was added in order to provide access to a variety of exclusive tournaments with higher prize pools.
The main challenge was to update the system to the newest industry standards, thus we’ve built the microservice which implements backend for frontend pattern, and applied various modular systems responsible for analytics, notifications, newsletters, etc.
Solution
The platform was completely refactored and optimized:
- Backend code was migrated from the legacy PHP version to Golang
- REST API was replaced with GraphQL
- Monolithic application architecture was changed to GRPC-connected microservices.
Additional work was spent by our team on integration with various payment providers’ APIs for:
- deposit and withdraw payment for players
- payment ruling systems.

For what projects/services did your company hire Spintech Software, and what were your goals?
We received an incoming complex eCommerce project request for our European client. The stumbling block of the project was that we didn't have enough amount of available developers, so we needed a local partner with good technical expertise. Our choice fell on Spintech because they have vast experience in eCommerce projects, as well as developing high-loaded and complex web solutions.

I’m the CEO of a company that provides IT services.
What challenge were you trying to address with Spintech Software?
We were looking for remote developers to help with the backend development for a SaaS platform to get it done on time.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Spintech developers are working on the backend development of a SaaS platform. They also assisted me with all the budgets and timelines estimations, and then focused on the backend and implementing the overall payment providers. We’re implementing them into the backend to work with a CRM client-side web platform.
Any client can log into their account and ask for credit, then after some verification procedures receive the funds either on their credit card or come to the local office and get some cash instead.
Spintech did a discovery stage where they calculated their estimations and provided me with an architecture proposal, test plan, and overall design like some brief screens of what it can be in the future. Then we proceeded with the development plan. Spintech engineers have already implemented three main 1-month sprints according to Agile methodology with unit testing.

There are two developers. We talk with Dmitriy (COO) and the CTO.

Spintech Software has already implemented a huge portion of the backend. The deliverables for us were to gain the overall architecture proposal and test. What I see according to the screens is the payment integration is finished. There are some minor problems with implementing Mastercard that will need to be fixed. Then we’ll close the backend contract with them and reopen it with frontend people.
We’re pleased and satisfied with them. They were quite fast in implementing a large amount of code within a few months. They always deliver the tasks on time, and if there are any issues, they fix them in several hours.

We communicate through email, Telegram, and Slack.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. I’m pleased with their services even if there were some misunderstandings.
