I needed their expertise in mobile app development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Space-O Technologies built our mobile app from scratch, following our requirements and product specifications from the scoping phase. It was an Android- and iOS-friendly platform, which provided users with access to nearby television listings. Through the app, users could keep track of upcoming shows and hold discussions with others who had the same genre preferences.

What is the team composition?

We mainly interacted with one project manager and two development engineers.

How did you come to work with Space-O Technologies?

We conducted a vetting process and decided to choose Space-O Technologies because of their previous experience and fair price point.

The project cost about $10,000–$15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our engagement ran from January 2018–January 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were overwhelmed with the quality of Space-O Technologies’ work. We had a checklist to evaluate the product’s usability, and we were thrilled to tick most of the boxes upon witnessing the app’s performance. Additionally, any area that needed refinement was addressed by their team right away.

We mainly communicated via email and relied on Trello and Basecamp for project management. Space-O Technologies was a responsive and cooperative partner — they were attentive to all our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were most impressed with their team’s capacity to generate high-quality work while integrating our feedback and preferences into what they did.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could benefit from a more streamlined communication approach. We encountered some network issues that impeded the flow of our meetings.

I'm the founder and CEO of MyGwooop, Inc. MyGwooop is a Fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) Rotating Saving Platform that can be used among friends and family members to organize what we call " Sòl or susu"

Our goal was to develop a full stack mobile app for iOS and Android. Also, our landing page. We hired Space-O Technologies just for that.

I selected Space-O base on the reviews, the quick response, their understanding of the idea, and professionalism.

We've conducted multiple meetings with the PM of Space-O from when we received the proposal to wireframes , design phase, and testing .

A main PM was assigned to the project, I also interacted with their wireframe engineers and backend developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After we launched the app, we had a few downloads. My peers enjoyed the slick design and the functionality of the App.

The PM was easy to communicate, he understood the end goal of the scope of Work and we work together in achieving the API key process.

From UX/UI Design to develop the app/website. They were very organized and had a good track record.

Nothing for now.

We are dating and matchmaking service. I am the founder and CEO.

We had problems with the development of our app using another developer so we asked Space-O if they could produce a high quality dating app with a short deadline.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a functional, high quality dating app produced in 6-8 weeks.

We found Space-O on Upwork. They stood out as they had almost 100% customer satisfaction rating.

We had a number of consultations with the team. Once we agreed on the scope of the project, we were allocated a project manager. Our project manager was superb.

He had integrity, he communicated very well and he always made sure I was happy with how things were going. I couldn’t have dreamt of having a better person to work with on this project.

What was the team composition?

Initially we were assigned a project manager but I know he was communicating with a number of developers and QA testers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Despite having a short deadline, our app was delivered on time. The app is now in both iOS and Android stores and it works very well. I have also been given support for any problems that may arise.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager was excellent. We spoke nearly everyday. His communication was fantastic.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Everything. They were professional, they communicate really well, manage your expectations and the product is high quality

I could not ask for any more.

Our Start-up IT Company was founded in 2018 especially for building up and launch an Application for a proximity chatting. I’m Co-founder and CBO and I manage our daily operations and our partnerships with business service providers.

We hired Space-O Technologies to build our mobile app (iOS and Android) as well WEB Application.

To get a user-friendly app.

We knew how the project should look like, so we did complete description for the main App functionalities. SpaceO created SOW (scope of work) together with estimation.

After few modifications, we have started with a developing phase. At the beginning we asked for MVP only and after 6 months they successfully delivered it. Next phase was to get full App version, so after new scope of work, we have continued with cooperation until we get delivered requested product.

The team which have worked upon our product consists of a project manager, four developers, a UI/UX specialist, and several QA testers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Together with our testing users we have managed to improve an upgraded our MVP and increased customer satisfaction. We’ve also built a trusting relationship with the team at Space-O Technologies.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

At the beginning of our cooperation, we would need some time to adopt our and their team to work like one. After while, our cooperation was fully established, we have worked well together and we have been able to complete everything on time. Their team has been open in their communication, and they have become like an in-house developers.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are very glad that they are offering us non-stop support, they have short feedback periods, high level of professionalism and willingness to hear the customer needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They are team of professionals and there is no much I would like to see to be improved by them. We are more than thankful for everyone we have worked with, including NImish, Jingesh, Sagar and others.

My company is a sole proprietorship that's focused on this Reposit app. The app is a documentation tool to help landlords and tenants work better together and streamline the security deposit process. It does this by creating full reports that document the full state of your rental that both parties can use.

I used Space-O to do all of the wireframing and development of the app.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal of the project was to have an app on both the Apple and Google app stores. The app needed to be able to be used by both parties and generate working reports that had good content as well as look good.

How did you select this vendor?

I initially found them just from searching online, but the first phase of this project was just to do the wireframes for the app and so that served as somewhat of a trial run for the main project as well.

The project was the creation of a full app from wireframe to release on the app store. I came in with the ideas and requirements and they took that and translated that into the full creation.

This project created the business. Without it, there would be no product to sell!

I had a main point of contact who did all of the requirements gathering and overall project management coordination. It worked very well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The thing that was the most impressive for me was that they weren't just blindly following directions. There were multiple times when I came in with an idea that they then made suggestions on to improve it or helped me rework it to flow better in the overall app.

Having informed and intelligent opinions made the experience better and the overall product output was improved.

None. It was a great project top to bottom.

I’m the CEO and founder of ClickaService. We sell/provide referrals to various local service providers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Space-O Technologies?

We hired Space-O Technologies to design an interactive website application as per the mockups provided to them. 

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted an attractive and simple website that would allow customers to select/source home service providers to do jobs at their properties.

How did you select this vendor?

I shortlisted four vendors. When I visited Rakesh (CEO, Space-O Technologies) at a local business event, I was planning on giving the project to one of the other three companies, but his commitment and professionalism were exactly what I was looking for. Friendly and passionate, I knew he would take pride in delivering my product.

Space-O was responsible for bringing our website from design to operation. They helped me find a local mock-up designer and then raised many questions to ensure our screens would be linked to and interact with one another correctly. Daily communication and brainstorming helped them recommend better ways of designing key functions.

What was the team composition?

3–4 people were assigned to the first phase, designing the look and feel of the homepage and each of the screens. More resources were used later during the technical stage.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Though it’s too early to understand the commercial impact on our business, we’re confident the website will be scalable and help us expand into other regions. We’re very optimistic.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The dedication and support of their management was the best part of working with Space-O. They were always following up with us and resolving any issues that arose. Communication wise, they used multiple tools, and we didn’t have any language barriers whatsoever. Likewise, the time zone difference didn’t cause any problems.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They were communicative, dedicated, and professional. The basis of their success is their hands-on management, but they also prioritize long-term success. They strive to satisfy their customers and deliver on their promises.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There’s little they could improve. Greater detailing of deliverables to avoid confusion would be something, however.

TLC is a startup providing same-day delivery services to business customers in London.

For what reason(s) did your company hire Space-O Technologies?

We hired them to develop the technology platform, including backend API as well as mobile web applications.

What were your goals for this project?

First, we wanted to launch early-stage applications to demonstrate proof of concept. Then, we also wanted ongoing optimization.

How did you select this vendor?

We used an RFP and vendor procurement process. Fifteen agencies or development houses were considered. Space-O was the most professional in terms of technical scope, project management, customer service, and value.

The scope was finalized from software requirements specifications/wireframes to include architecture, development, project management, testing/QA, and release. Key features were automated dispatch, job management, and third-party integrations (Stripe, Google API). Designs were provided.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a project manager, iOS specialist, Business Analyst, PHP, QA, CTO, and CEO depending on requirements.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I was originally working with a fixed scope billing model which was slow and, as a result, the project missed its deadline. Once the project moved to a time/materials plan, rate of development was a lot faster. Quality of development and project management was consistently high. The team was responsive. Outcomes of the project were delivered, and the Space-O team was rehired for ongoing optimization.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Basecamp and Lighthouse were used to manage the project. As the project evolved, communication was refined. Critical and high priority tasks were responded to well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are consistently professional.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could improve by providing more communication about their billing plans up front.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the cofounder of a friendship and dating app.

For what projects/services did your company hire Space-O Technologies, and what were your goals?

We hired Space-O to take our high-fidelity wireframes and develop them into an app. Our goal was to find a developer that could produce an extremely high-quality app with as few bugs and issues as possible.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Several companies sent us offers to develop the app, but none were exceptional. We decided to do some research and came across Space-O. We scheduled a call with their head of sales and discussed the scope of the project, which ultimately made us feel very comfortable and confident going with Space-O.

Our iOS app is still in development, so I cannot comment on all of the steps or the finished product (We will update this review once it is complete). However, our app was estimated to be completed within 3.5 months, and Space-O has been developing our app section by section all along. We have had periodic meetings throughout.

A project manager and 2-3 developers have been assigned to the development of our app. We have not had any communication with the developers, but we've been in constant communication with the project manager since the beginning.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our app is still in development, so we will update this comment once we're able to review the finished product.

We have been communicating with the project manager via Skype since the beginning. We also have the option of communicating with them via Basecamp; however, our team can't stand Basecamp, so we stick to Skype. Our project manager is responsive, and it is very clear that he is dedicated to our project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As mentioned, the number one thing we were looking for when seeking a developer to create our app was the quality of their engineering. Since our project has yet to finish, we will update this question later. However, we have been impressed with the ease at which our project manager appears to lead his team of developers. We haven't had to speak to them or interject, which saves us a lot of time and headache. We have meetings with our PM, and he takes care of everything, which has been great.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Just a couple of areas of improvement: When we were finalizing the details before hiring Space-O, we mentioned that we need at least 6 hours of overlap per day between our team and theirs, since we're in different time zones, and the owner of Space-O is obliged. The good news for them is that we haven't needed anywhere close to 6 hours of overlap each day. However, when we do reach out to them about a particular issue or question (which maybe takes up an average of 20 mins per day), it sometimes takes them one or two days to respond. Since it is only 20 minutes of their time and not 6 hours, we would appreciate a little bit of a faster response.

The only other thing was that we seemed to have quite a bit of misunderstanding from the initial meeting with the head of sales to the actual development. There were some things that were said during the initial meeting that did not match the project scope, so we had to confront these discrepancies, but we truly believe that it was an honest misunderstanding. We had a call with the head of sales, our PM, and VP, and we all handled it very professionally and ironed everything out. The only area of improvement that would be in their control is their ability to communicate amongst themselves a little better.

Our PM sometimes did not know very basic things that we discussed with the head of sales in the beginning. Obviously, he was able to ask and figure things out, but it was apparent that there was a slight inefficiency regarding information sharing. Other than those two things, Space-O has been very responsive, professional, understanding, helpful, and great to work with! These slight hurdles have made our relationship with Space-O even stronger, and we're starting to have a lot of fun with our PM!! We will update this question once our app is developed and launched!

We wanted to expand our geographic without having to add more brick-and-mortar location. We hired Space-O to create an on demand app for us to be able to utilize our existing resources that is on standby. Our goals is not to have our resources not being used thus with an on demand service request, we will be able to maximize our un-used resources and increase our market share.

We chose Space-O because of their experienced in on demand app. They were able to show case that they are the best in the industry.

We had an idea of what we wanted as far as the app flow but didn't have wireframe to provide to Space-O. They were able to provide a rough one for us to with and we were able to finalize one. From there, they provided us with two IOS app and a backend requires by us within one month of the final wireframe.

We were assigned 4 points of contacts, but we mainly communicate with our project manager. Rushit was our PM and does an immaculate job of handling all issues in a timely manner.

We are expecting revenue growth by 20% by the next quarter by utilizing the app. We have great feedback from our clients who are unable to travel

Rushit, our project manager consistently updates current status and timeline. Every time we ran into issues or new requests, he immediately take care of the tasks and updates as promised.
