Full-Cycle Software Development for Marketplace
App Category: Marketplace & Platforms
Description
YMaster is a Poland-based service that allows users to quickly find the right contributor and contact them using an Android or iOS device. With YMaster one can call a tow truck, mobile tire service, technical assistance, etc. Thanks to a special algorithm, the service will select the best specialist to solve almost any user problem.
Challenges
- Requirement gathering and market analysis;
- UX/UI design;
- Backend development;
- Customers mobile app development;
- Masters mobile app development;
- Admin Panel Development;
- Landing Page Creation;
- Testing and product launch.
Solution
The solution consists of a customer app (YMaster), a contractor app (MasterPro), an admin panel, and a landing page. We have developed a server part for connecting two applications (YMaster and MasterPro), processing user requests, driver routes and other data. A landing page was also developed with detailed information about the application, a personal account for the contractors and the possibility of paying for placement on the platform. SolveIt also helped the client in launching: we’ve created a marketing strategy and are now successfully promoting the app and introducing it to new markets.
Results
It is essential to use a product-oriented approach to create a trending and user-friendly mobile application when starting development. This approach allowed us to successfully launch the apps and ad campaigns. The client was able to competently manage the marketing budget without incurring the costs of test campaigns, and within a short time to attract a wide target audience to applications.

Full-Cycle Software Development for Cargo Services
App Category: Transportation
Description
Software solution for French startup about cargo delivering. Native mobile applications and web-portal to fully realize the potential of the “Uber for X” model.
Challenges
- Admin panel;
- Dispatcher Dashboard;
- Driver App;
- Client Booking App;
- Third-Party Payments Integration;
- Integration with HERE.com.
Solution
First of all, we analyzed the market and current solutions to develop the best concept and our UX/UI designer has created the layouts. As we decided that the project will be 2 separate native iOS and Android and Web mobile applications for client and driver it was necessary to create a proper backend for the whole system to ensure 24/7 working capacity and avoid synchronization. The most important stage was to test the whole system workflow under heavy loads. After QA processes apps were submitted to the Play and App stores.

Mobile App Development for Software Company
"When a company has a great culture, people like us get great service. Solveit is fantastic."
the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of a software company. We build custom products for funded startups & tech brands
For what projects/services did your company hire SolveIt?
When the Ukranian War started we had many members of our team migrating about their country in search of safety. We called Ilia to supplement our staff during this unstable period. We utilized his team to support our native app development projects.
How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?
We called over 10 development agencies during the first week of the war. Every agency from Poland was so supportive of our situation. Ilia was adaptive and supportive with ready to go developers. His website had a list of his mission statement and values - it matched our values. It was oddly amusing how similar we were with how our teams operated. Ilia was such a warm soul for our troubled times. We are so lucky to have found him .
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We onboarded his mobile app developers to three of our projects. Each developer had to blend with our current team and work with team members that were only adding time when they were safe. They had to gain knowledge from these developers and be patient with the situation. After onboarding, each of the team members from Solveit also had to deal with the pressures of developing the code on a schedule even with our situation. The team adapted quickly and intelligently. Ilia and his team were very great communicators making the entire process seamless.
Describe the recruitment process in detail.
We could not interview so we had to believe in what Ilia told us. Everything he explained came true. The team was retentive, communicative and intelligent. They supported our projects (and still do) during a time in which we needed help. We talked to Ilia on a Saturday and his team started Monday morning.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
Every developer that worked with NineTwoThree was competent and stuck with their timelines. We organize our projects in Monday.com and the developers were quick to learn our ways. From there, each member blended into the process and delivered accordingly. The best part was that each member was communicating their opinions, beliefs and findings intelligently and we listened.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Fantastic. Solveit goes through the same type of training that our team performs to be able to work remotely. Their hours were adjusted accordingly and their ability to commit on a schedule was great.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Ilia and Solve it are a pleasure to work with. There are certain people in this industry that understand how to support software for clients. Ilia is that person. He is honest, supportive and hires great people. When you create a good culture - people want to keep working with you. We will continue to work with Solveit as long as we can.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Honestly no, it is incredible that we took such a risk on Solveit - without interviewing and there is literally nothing they could have done better. We are very happy.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am Founder & CEO of Gumb, a software-startup providing an affordable and customizable appointment scheduling tool for groups and teams.
For what projects/services did your company hire SolveIt, and what were your goals?
We required staff augmentation support for our app development company. More specifically, highly skilled full-stack developers to manage successfully the launch and further development of our new online platform.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
SolveIt was shortlisted during a tender. Their Team and especially Ilia, CEO of SolveIt convinced us with their strong communication skills and experience.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a series of commercial and discovery meetings. The stack was covering node.js, AWS cloud services, react, swift and kotlin.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total, 3 developers. The main point of contact was a full-stack developer which covered both, the back and frontend. Additionally, 2 mobile devs for Android and iOS for a certain time.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Within 3-4 months after our app was launched, thanks to the team of SolveIt, our app became stable and error-free.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We had direct communication with the team, with daily meetings on Skype to make sure everything was going as planned. A significant advantage was the high involvement in technical solutions, even from the CEO.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were flexible, pivoting when we needed to change the project scope. We felt like a team with common goals.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Partly, we felt that the motivation of the mobile devs was missing occasionally. Besides that, everything was handled professionally.

Mobile App Dev for Cosmetics Distributor
"They’re quite friendly, open, and they’re overall nice people."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an online cosmetics company.
What challenge were you trying to address with SolveIt?
I needed an app to sell my cosmetics.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Solvelt is developing a custom app for my business. They created the app from scratch using modern technologies, with a team of about 8–10 people, who cover both the front- and backend development.
At the moment, the app is still in the MVP stage, but we’re planning to launch it in October.
What is the team composition?
I first communicated with the CEO, who helped introduced me to the team. My main point of contact is the project manager.
How did you come to work with SolveIt?
I found them through the reviews at Clutch, and they offered me a reasonable price for the project.
How much have you invested with them?
So far, we’ve spent around $20,000 USD.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2021, and the partnership is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They handle all the development and so far, I’m quite satisfied. I understand that not everything has quite worked out yet, and there are still some features that have yet to be implemented.
How did SolveIt perform from a project management standpoint?
The project manager and business analyst help me unite all my requirements, and we haven’t had any problem with communication — we use Slack to talk to each other.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The most impressive part of their work is their communication style. They’re quite friendly, open, and they’re overall nice people.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can probably provide something more precise after the launch.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
For anyone who wants to go with them, just work in-depth and trust what they see. They’re a young company, but they’re worth trying.

"When I met Solvelt, I got the confidence I was looking for."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the CEO and founder of a company called Seniordev. We provide IT nearshoring services for the Norwegian market.
What challenge were you trying to address with Solvelt?
We were struggling with a shortage of personnel for one of our projects, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I decided to set up a white label version of Seniordev powered by Solvelt in Minsk, which is what we’ve done so far. We’ve been testing out a set of two Javascript backend developers through them. They’re working on application development, in which we’ve been using regular tech sources, such as Angular on frontend and JavaScript on backend. If this goes well, we plan on going on a larger scale in the future.
What is the team composition?
For now, we’re working with two developers.
How did you come to work with Solvelt?
It was a little bit random. I met them through a common friend in Minsk, and built up a relationship with them before we started working together, while their normal business model is to find clients in the US and do projects with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $11,000 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
The collaboration started in April 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’ve made our backlog smaller, but the main point for us was to have a trustworthy partner we could trust who would provide us with good developers. Since we’re an IT company ourselves, we didn’t need extra services.
How did Solvelt perform from a project management standpoint?
We had to plug them into our team, and we’ve mainly used Jira for project management and Slack for communication.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Our business is all about relationships. We’re in what we call the red ocean. For me, it was important to have a partner I could trust that I managed to communicate well with, as well as a hard-working team. When I met Solvelt, I got the confidence I was looking for. That’s why I decided to roll with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If you ask me in half a year, I’ll probably answer that better, but right now it’s a simple service provided by two developers who plug into our existing team.

Backend App Dev & UI/UX Design for Tech Startup
"SolveIt was transparent and trustworthy."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a pre-seed tech startup with a team of two founders and three full-time members. I’m the CTO of the company, fully responsible for the technical aspects of the project. I’m also engaged in product creation, various business relations, and business management tasks.
What challenge were you trying to address with SolveIt?
We were looking for a technical partner who could help us with some areas which we weren’t experienced in. I’ve been a software developer for a long time, and I focus mainly on mobile development. We needed help with some of the product’s backend systems.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SolveIt helped us with part of the backend development and with UI/UX design. Node.js was the main technology used, as per our request. We aimed to move development in-house in the future, and we had Node.js expertise on our team. We also used Typescript.
Our application is focused on creating video trainings and exercises for fighting insomnia. The team worked on a component for receipt validation from the Apple Store and Google Play, and they developed an admin panel for uploading and managing videos and viewing user analytics.
The backend development and UI/UX design were done in parallel, and we worked in two-week sprints. We gave them Balsamiq mockups. Some of our ideas weren’t right for real-world applications, so we made a lot of modifications from there.
SolveIt gave us a lot of ideas on how to become more compliant with iOS and Android design standards. There are some differences in user behavior between the two operating systems. Mobile development was mainly done on our side, using React Native.
What is the team composition?
We had a project manager on their side. We had close communication with the UI/UX designer, as well.
How did you come to work with SolveIt?
A friend of mine had had a good experience with them. I trusted his opinion, so I had a talk with SolveIt. We started the communication with the sales manager on SolveIt’s side who gave us a commercial offer and some estimates, and we started the work from there
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was around $17,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We had our first communication with SolveIt in September 2020, and we spent two weeks on requirements and estimates. Development started at the end of that month, and we got the end result in mid-November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
SolveIt worked really fast, which was important for us because we wanted to get a fast response from customers. The user feedback on the design was great. We’ve done some user testing with actual people with insomnia, and, although the design was okay, we have to make some changes to the concept.
How did SolveIt perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Jira to track tasks and log time. The communication with their project manager was good, and everything else was fine. Their transparency was also great because I wanted to understand what was happening and what problems they may have been facing.
I got a detailed report after each phase. Their project manager updated us on the progress and gave us demos at the end of each sprint.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SolveIt was transparent and trustworthy, and they had great expertise.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Offering support on weekends would make them an excellent company, not just a good one. This isn’t really a criticism.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
SolveIt can solve any problem they’re presented.

Mobile & Web App Dev for TV Streaming Service
"If we have any other projects, we’ll definitely go to SolveIT."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-founder and product manager of BFreeTV, a TV streaming service.
What challenge were you trying to address with SolveIt?
We wanted to develop mobile and web apps so that customers could stream from our platform all over the world.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SolveIT helped us with both the discovery and business analysis phases. We had an idea of what we wanted and provided examples of similar applications. From there, the team helped us to create our vision and a plan for our project.
They developed the mobile versions of the app, using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. For the web application, SolveIT used PHP. Afterward, the team handled testing.
The team also delivered the design aspects. We provided a guidebook and logo, which they used to create custom designs for the applications.
What is the team composition?
In total, we worked with about six people. We had a project manager, who was our main point of contact, as well as two iOS developers, two Android developers, and one PHP developer.
How did you come to work with SolveIt?
One of my colleagues recommended SolveIT. I spoke to the project manager and he was very professional, so we decided to partner with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent €28,000 (approximately $30,000 USD) .
What is the status of this engagement?
The project took place from May-November 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The application, which is available in both Apple and Google stores, is well-used by customers locally. It’s functional and reliable, and we’re satisfied with their work.
SolveIT doesn’t provide us with ongoing support services, but they’re willing to help us from time to time when we need to fix things according to our processes, which we also appreciate.
How did SolveIt perform from a project management standpoint?
I was impressed by their project management. The whole process was very transparent, and the team was very responsive. They used Jira, which made keeping up with SolveIT’s progress very clear. To communicate, we used Slack, and the project manager was always in touch when we needed anything.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We really appreciated their work in the discovery phase. We had an idea from a business point of view, but they made some recommendations from a technology point of view that took future usage into account. Their recommendations were very helpful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The only disappointment was the project timeline. We expected it would be completed within four months but they delivered in 5 ½ months, though some of the delays were on our side. If we have any other projects, we’ll definitely go to SolveIT.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I definitely recommend using them. They did their research on the industry and business processes. SolveIT can really deliver software solutions that fit your expectations and even exceed them.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a project manager for software development at a company called Dynamaze.
What challenge were you trying to address with SolveIt?
We required additional software development resources to work on the healthcare management mobile app that we built. We needed help building a web backend.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We developed a web application with SolveIt. Their team built and integrated a web dashboard into the mobile app’s ecosystem. We created a design for the frontend that the developer from SolveIt implemented. Also, their team connected the web application’s backend with the mobile platform. They helped to create different user roles for admins using the system. The product also had basic functionalities such as displaying tables based on data recorded in the system.
What is the team composition?
We had two people from SolveIt working on the project. A web developer and the CEO worked with us.
How did you come to work with SolveIt?
We searched for contractors to interview. We heard good reviews from another company that had worked with SolveIt. We interviewed them and felt that they showed a good level of expertise. Their team showed reliability, which was delivered.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in June 2019 and finished the project at the beginning of September.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We didn’t need to invest much time in fixing bugs because the quality of their code was good. We were satisfied with their work and finished the project earlier than expected. Now, the dashboard’s in real healthcare organizations. Their team was reliable and experienced, so I would recommend working with SolveIt.
How did SolveIt perform from a project management standpoint?
We used JIRA to track the project and finished the project ahead of the deadline. We liked their communication style. Communication was constant and great, which is really important for a project. Their team was transparent and responded to all our questions fast.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their experience, communication style, and transparency set them apart from the competition.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we got more than expected. SolveIt was great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?

We were looking for a reliable partner who could fill the gap in specific mobile technologies, a partner who could provide us with top-notch mobile engineers when we needed additional iOS and Android development resources.
What were your goals for this project?
Of course, we were looking for a partner who would be able to deliver for mobile and IoT devices solutions with high quality, on time and on budget, using technologies that would fit the whole project stack. We worked with SolveIt on multiple projects during our collaboration. One of the main tasks was to develop mobile & IoT apps that would integrate with the existing web-based solution.
How did you select this vendor?
SolveIt earned a reputation as a reliable solution provider for Healthcare Industry. That’s why when we needed a partner to develop the mobile and IoT app in this domain, we went with them. During our initial discussions, we came to a mutual understanding in regard to the project needs, timelines and the budget. We also spent time outlining communication and development processes to ensure our success.
Describe the project in detail.
During this period with the help of SolveIt, we accomplished several projects in the Healthcare domain, such as tracking sport activities, data analytics, gym aggregator, etc.
As for the technical side of our cooperation – mobile projects were required to be implemented using native technologies, Kotlin for Android, Swift for iOS and watchOS. A pixel-perfect design implementation was required, and, as it was already mentioned, seamless integration between the mobile and web apps was important.
What was the team composition?
SolveIt provided a dedicated Project Manager for all communication and planning and two iOS Developers and two Android Developers for engineering and development.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The apps they delivered met all expectations and technical requirements.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They strictly followed timelines and the communication was smooth. If they ran into issues, they would alert us immediately and have someone to take care of them as soon as possible. I am enjoying the collaboration between our companies.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
SolveIt is truly about Research and Development. They deploy high-quality solutions by using top-notch technologies. SolveIt always finds ways to improve and optimize the solutions they work on. This is noticeable even during the planning stage – they think about the future of the solution, and set up a structure that would be easier to maintain in the future.
Plus, at one of the project, we needed to speed up the development process. SolveIt was ready to assist us with extra working hours. That helped us to finish everything even within the shifted time frame.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We were satisfied with them during our collaborations.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the business owner at Family Dental Center in Minsk, Belarus.
For what projects/services did your company hire SolveIt?
We focused on increasing the loyalty of current patients and creating a tool (mobile app) to attract new ones. After discussing the tasks with the SolveIt team, we decided to build native mobile apps for iOS and Android.
What were your goals for this project?
The apps had to have an easy-to-use dashboard for managing and controlling all the information about treatment in the dental center. We would achieve this by creating test apps and then pushing them to the Play Market and Apple Store. We also wanted to develop a dynamic survey to solicit reviews from clients.
How did you select this vendor?
We selected SolveIt through an interview process. I communicated with several candidates, but SolveIt was the best choice because of both the budget and the proposed ideas.
Describe the project in detail.
The project consists of an Android app, an iOS app, and a dashboard. The layout was prepared by their UX/UI designer. The company also tested and launched the apps into the Play and App stores. Now, SolveIt continues to support our apps and keep in touch with us.
What was the team composition?
We worked with an overall project manager and discussed the layout of the app with their UX/UI designer. There were also talks with the CEO, initially. For the actual development, we contracted one coder each for the backend, iOS, and Android solutions. We also added a programmer when we decided to build the dashboard.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Customer loyalty has become noticeably better, resulting in a larger number of patients returning a second time. Clients who had already used our services have rated the app and its features positively.
I would also like to note that the dashboard is an excellent tool for managing and changing the main information about the dental clinic wherever I am. Moreover, dentists in the clinic no longer need to do a lot of paperwork to keep records of patient admissions. It’s enough to make appropriate changes to the dashboard.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was well-organized and very transparent, and I’m glad about our communication during all the joint work. The developers understood our goals and stayed available through email, phone, and messaging.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
SolveIt is a really good team of professionals—they know their job. I liked the way their manager and developers communicated with us and how they helped develop our idea. They were timely, skilled, experienced, and project driven.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I have no idea what they could improve on in their work. They accomplished things that I thought were impossible. I’m ready to suggest them to my colleagues.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the CEO of Zett Poker Club.
For what projects/services did your company hire SolveIT?
We needed to create native iOS and Android apps and an admin panel, as well as a loyalty program. Additionally, our website needed a new design with a user-friendly interface to attract customers who aren’t familiar with the latest technology.
What were your goals for this project?
We were aiming to attract new members, build deeper connections with our old members, and promote our service to the next level.
How did you select this vendor?
I had conversations with a few candidates to determine if they knew how to build a successful project. SolveIT’s impressed me by developing a plan that both of us would be comfortable with. Moreover, their terms and budget were exactly what I was looking for. They were also recommended by some of my colleagues.
Describe the project in detail.
After discussing my goals with SolveIT’s CEO, we decided on native apps with a mobile admin panel so I could control the product and change some of its content myself.
Their UX/UI designer created mockups of the apps, which they used in the subsequent development. They built native Android and iOS apps, tested them, and launched them in the Play and App stores. Since updating our website (a service they proposed to us), they’ve continued to support the apps.
What was the team composition?
We work with an assigned project manager, a UX/UI designer, a backend coder, an iOS coder, an Android coder, and a website programmer. I can also talk to the CEO if I need to.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our cash-games and tournaments have started much faster and featured new players in the three months since the apps launched. The admin panel has brought me peace of mind by providing all the statistical information right in the app and allowing me to make changes myself. SolveIT takes care of all the technical matters, which means I don’t have to worry about them.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their communication is amazing. If I want something, SolveIT jumps on it. They don’t drag out tasks, and everything is delivered on time. They respond to things the second I mention them. I’m satisfied with their Android and iOS developers, and the project manager provides me with reports on our status.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They move ahead with clear milestones in mind, working proactively and answering questions promptly. I have to say, they've exceeded my expectations, and I’m ready to recommend them to my colleagues.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There’s nothing they need to do differently. One of the reasons I chose them is that they had everything I needed.
SolveIt adapted quickly to the client's process. They are competent, adaptive, and organized with their work, as well. They're honest, supportive, and quality-focused. Most of all, they're able to communicate their beliefs and opinions that became useful to the project.
