Please describe your company and your position there.
I work as an event planner for the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), a national trade association that acts as a one-of-a-kind network of marketing, business developers, and growth strategists. Formed in 1989, the association provides resources and products to the accounting firms and marketing professionals.
For what projects/services did your company hire Socialfix Media?
Each year, AAM honors achievements in the industries with an award ceremony. Twenty-five awards are handed out each year, and for the past four years, the process has moved along because of a video. We brought on Socialfix Media to produce the video.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed a fast-paced video delivered on time and budget.
How did you select this vendor?
The owner of the company was one of the previous judges. When we were looking for a new vendor, we reached out to see if they would be interested. Socialfix Media understood the scope and budget constraints.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
The video includes a voiceover, background music, text, graphics of the winning submission, and the winning firm logo. All of the elements were provided in Dropbox folders by the ceremony’s team.
What was your vendors’ project management or feedback process?
Socialfix Media used Basecamp to keep me up to date on the status of the project. Before completing the project, we agreed on the look and feel. Once everything was laid out, there were a few things that needed tweaking. This was a pain point with our previous vendor, but it demonstrated Socialfix Media’s attention to detail.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video met our objectives. It will play in the awards reception mid-June in Las Vegas.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Throughout the entire process, they were in constant communication, where we used Basecamp to manage the workflow.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Socialfix Media was professional. I appreciated their thoughts and updates throughout and would use them again for future projects.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There’s none that I can think of. I’m pleased with the quality of work. Socialfix Media met my expectations.

Video Production for Keynote Speaker
"It was obvious from the beginning how professional Socialfix Media is."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a keynote speaker that gives motivational and leadership talks at conferences and other events.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
I was speaking at a conference in New York and asked Socialfix Media to record my talk.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Socialfix Media created two videos for me. The first was the whole 45-minute presentation, and the second was a short 3 ½ minute summary of the talk with testimonials. Their team took some of the content, added small design details and music, and was in charge of editing and cleaning the footage.
What is the team composition?
I initially worked with Carolyn (Client Experience Manager, Socialfix Media). I signed the contract with her. Then at the event itself, there were three to four people from their team that wasn’t just recording my talk, but the overall conference as well. After that, one person was assigned to work on my videos.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
I was speaking at the NYCSHRM conference, and the event organizers recommended them. I live in Louisana, so I wouldn’t know about them without this recommendation.
How much have you invested with them?
I spent about $3,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
I worked with Socialfix Media from April–May 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We finished the videos a few days ago, so we need more time to see any impact. The feedback I’ve received so far from online viewers is positive. Their team selected excellent music and bettered my content through their creativity and design. I would consider working with Socialfix Media again, even though their costs are higher than other companies I’ve worked with. Honestly, it is worth it to receive that high-quality work.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
I work with videographers all the time, but Socialfix Media was much more customer-friendly. It was obvious from the beginning how professional Socialfix Media is. In addition to their creativity, they were dedicated to making sure I got what I was looking for. Working with Carolyn and my assigned videographer was easy. Carolyn was extremely detail-oriented. I communicated with their team through email and Basecamp. The videographer sent me updates through Basecamp. They did whatever I wanted them to do, adding their creative touch to make the videos even better.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their team is extremely professional and creative. They’re excellent with communication and following the timeline. Everything went smooth. Throughout the engagement, I felt that they cared so much because of how much they wanted to please me with the result. While I only worked directly with one person on the video, a bunch of their team was on the emails, which meant that everyone wanted to stay up to date with how the project was going. Their creative details add to the video, making it better than expected.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing to my knowledge or experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear and upfront about what you want because their team will make sure you get what you’re looking for. Be transparent while sharing your expectations with Socialfix Media.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the VP of events and programs for the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA). We are a leading trade association for the shelter industry in New Jersey representing over 1,000 members.
For what projects/services did your company hire Socialfix Media?
Socialfix Media was hired to produce a video of our annual conference that would speak to the benefits of membership within our association.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal for this project was to capture the energy and the opportunities which exist for those who support the association.
How did you select this vendor?
I had the pleasure of meeting one of the founding partners while exhibiting at a trade show in New York City. We immediately connected, and we entered into a partnership after hearing encouragement from the team's other clients.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
Their scope of work included connecting with us prior to events to hear about our goals and objectives. They identify a film crew to remain onsite, and then they assign various tasks to team members. During the three day event, the team captures video and performs numerous interviews. Then, they produce a video that we use for promotional purposes.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
We communicate in-person, via conference call, and via email. The team has always been approachable. They have been quick to provide ideas and guide us along in our work.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We've seen an increase in traffic to the website, where the video serves as a focal point. We see participants really wanting to interact with the team and express their opinions on the video. The Socialfix team has helped to enhance the energy at the event as a whole. After the event, the video has sparked interest in association membership and future event participation.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We appreciate the opportunity to work with such a talented team of marketing professionals.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I am most impressed with how they work together. They are always present, and they have an amazing energy about them.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, we appreciate the opportunity to work with them!

Video Production for Performing Arts Center
"Their unique approach to measuring success has been very helpful and insightful."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of development for a performing arts company. We have several educational and outreach programs for our community, and we serve over 200,000 people every year.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
We hired Socialfix Media to help us increase our digital presence and build our donor base. Our goal was to create videos that highlight our annual events and improve general awareness about the work we’re doing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
This is our second year partnering with Socialfix Media, and they’ve created videos for several events. As one example, their team attended and filmed one of our woman-centric programs. Their main role was to gather testimonials from attendees and document the event. Once they finished filming, we’d go through a few rounds of edits until the compilation fit what we were looking for. From there, we’d distribute the videos on social media and our website. Socialfix Media does this for multiple events throughout the year for us.
What is the team composition?
Terry (Founder, Socialfix Media), Carolyn (Client Experience Manager, Socialfix Media), and Brian (Creative & Livestream Film Production Director, Socialfix Media) are my main points of contact during our engagement.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
Terry and I were both members of an organization called Leading Women Entrepreneurs. After learning about her passion for performing arts and her team’s experience working with other nonprofits, I decided to partner with them. We really valued their affinity for the work our company has done.
How much have you invested with them?
We have a barter-style agreement. In total, we’ve spent $34,000 on their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve had an ongoing engagement since March 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Using the same women-centric event as an example, we saw a tremendous impact from that fundraising effort because of Socialfix Media’s help. The video they produced helped drive a high rate of return attendance for the next event. They helped reengage our audience and increase overall attendance of sponsors.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they were great at setting accurate parameters from the beginning. They’ve always been very responsive, and it’s only improved over time. Their team has intuitively known what we need from them and always responds to our outreach. Email is our primary form of correspondence, which is helpful because we can communicate around the clock.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their unique approach to measuring success has been very helpful and insightful. We’re able to look at our events and initiatives in a different way because of their support. The perspective they gave us on how to use social media more effectively to engage our audience is beneficial.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Although some of the editing steps took longer at the beginning, everything has been resolved by communicating with their team. I can’t think of anything for them to improve on.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be sure to get their input on how to maximize the impact of the work they do for you.

Video Production and Website Design for Business Advisory Firm
"They're creative and talented in areas we’re not. Socialfix Media is truly committed and passionate."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm VP of human resources and operations for Next Opportunity Group. We're a business advisory firm that helps companies in the mid-market grow to the next level. We also have a segment known as the Wealth and Values Initiative (WVI), which we created to help legacy families who not only own operating businesses but need help with their governance structure.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
Socialfix Media help us with our WVI legacy family group. They videotape and interview people at our numerous events, as well as create websites.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We previously partnered with a large accounting firm. We brought Socialfix Media on when we went independent. They helped build our Next Opportunity Group website and our WVI legacy family group website. They built both sites from scratch on WordPress. We supplied the content and they did the design and layout. They continue to manage both sites.
We have a dinner series called Success to Significance where we honor a prominent person who not only was successful in their career but gives back to society. Socialfix Media videotapes the entire dinner and interviews legacy family members. Then they cut and edit the video to create a media piece that helps us promote the next event. We also use the video on our website as well.
In addition, I'm on the board of NYC Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). I invited Socialfix Media to partner with SHRM at our first annual conference last year. They made a promotional video, taped the conference, and made clips to promote this year's conference. This year they became our official media sponsor, responsible for all the video media for our annual conference and other events.
What is the team composition?
We work directly with Terry (founding partner, Socialfix Media). She often delegates to other members of her team.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
They were introduced to us by one of our trusted outside partners.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve probably spent between $50,000–$200,000 in total.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in 2011 and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The videos Socialfix Media produces really help us to promote the WVI events. We’ve been able to increase the amount of funds raised by 10% each year. We attribute a lot of that success to their work. As for SHRM, we have nothing but excellent feedback on the videos from the over 4,000 members.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
Their team is very good. They're always on target with meeting deadlines. They're easy to work with and communicate well. Sometimes building a website gets messy. Socialfix Media handles the inevitable changes well. They have to be quite nuanced in order to make sure there are no errors.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They're creative and talented in areas we’re not. Socialfix Media is truly committed and passionate. They want to do well, and then they follow through and do an excellent job.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don't have anything off the top of my head. We're really pleased.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be good with co-creating together. You should understand what you want but be willing to give them some creative license.

Videography and Photography for Executive Coaching Firm
“I’m tremendously grateful for how they’ve transformed my business.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of The Ascher Group. We’re an executive leadership and career coaching firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
I hired Socialfix Media to provide videography and photography services during scheduled networking events.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Socialfix attends our events to capture the ambiance of the location, the gratitude of our guests, and the lively networking that occurs. They cover 6–8 events for us each year. Once each event is over, they use the footage to produce marketing videos that showcase the positive attributes of my company. The team starts the post-production process immediately to ensure a quick turnaround. That allows us to post the materials to social media while each event is still relevant. They also edit videos into smaller clips so that our clients can post content to their social media pages as well.
What is the team composition?
Terry (Founder, Socialfix Media) and Ken (Co-founder, Socialfix Media) are our primary points of contact. They send a video production specialist and photographer to each event.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
Terry and I are entrepreneurial leaders in the state of New Jersey. We met each other on a trip to Ireland to vet women entrepreneurs for a project we were working on. We developed an excellent rapport throughout 4–5 days, and our relationship evolved from there.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend around $20,000 for their services each year.
What is the status of this engagement?
I hired them in 2015 and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
SocialFix media does an outstanding job for us. They wouldn’t still be my supplier if they didn’t produce results. I’m tremendously grateful for how they’ve transformed my business. Their efforts to bolster our online presence have driven a lot of attention to the firm. New clients often contact me to coach senior executives after seeing our networking videos. The ROI they facilitate is quite high.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re available whenever I need to get in touch with them. Their staff keeps everything organized and delivers clever solutions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re the epitome of professionalism. That means they deliver what they promise, adhere to project timelines, and communicate effectively. Terry and Ken are great partners to work alongside. A lot of companies call themselves digital marketing firms, but Socialfix Media is in a class by themselves.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t give them anything but a glowing review at this time.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Our company does indoor and outdoor landscaping, as well as holiday decorating for the Tristate area. I am the business development manager.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
The company we were using for our online marketing efforts was underperforming and we wanted a new firm to take over our social media, website updates, and SEO strategy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They handle all of our website changes, SEO efforts, and social media updates. Content creation is a big part of their involvement, and they write blog posts and articles for various platforms, as well as produce video content for us.
When we started, we had no idea how valuable digital video production could be to our company. It was one of the services they offer, so we decided to take advantage of it. We now have client interviews, project spotlights, internal employee spotlights, and lots of footage to leverage with our site visitors.
What is the team composition?
An account manager is our main point of contact. He coordinates the project with the members of his team, who join us on weekly calls.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
We originally found them through a web search of digital marketing companies in our area. There was a fairly lengthy interview process for a few of those companies. Based on their initial responsiveness and our interaction over the phone, we decided to meet with Socialfix in person to tour their facility and get to know their team. They made us feel comfortable, and we decided to engage them.
How much have you invested with them?
There is some fluctuation, but we budget about $60,000 a year for their services.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in April 2017. They still help us with our SEO efforts.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our online marketing efforts show a 33% increase in leads over the previous company we worked with. That’s the most important metric for us, as it translates to incoming revenue.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
They do very well, and their strongest point is their responsiveness. We have weekly meetings to go over plans for the coming week and for larger, long-term projects. If we need to make small changes to the site, they usually complete them that same day.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are creative, sensitive to our needs, and always flexible to our schedule.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. Whenever we come to them with a challenge, we come up with a plan and they accommodate us. There’s no outlying behavior or practice I’d like them to improve.

Wordpress Redesign for Rubber Company
"If something is not in your price range, they’re always willing to work out the pricing."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
Passaic Rubber Company is a manufacturer of all custom rubber products servicing mostly rubber sheeting, rubber covered rollers, truly endless belting. I’m vice president of operations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
We needed to upgrade our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did a good job of understanding our company as a niche manufacturer in the rubber industry. They gave us a questionnaire that we filled out that was really in-depth. We outsource all of our marketing to them, so they need to have a good understanding of our business. We generated a sitemap and many other things before launching. We gave them content in terms of pictures and text, and they formed wireframes for the redesign. They moved the site to WordPress and have been maintaining our monthly website, SEO positioning and constantly refreshing the website.
Currently, we’re working on an e-commerce portion of the website. We’ve done some video shoots with them as well. The first video included interviews with the CEO and COO of our company talking about what the company is about. We provided the script, and they did all the editing.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
We weren’t happy with our initial marketing company. I reached out to Blue Fountain Media who then passed me over to Socialfix. They gave me a quote, and it’s grown into a positive relationship.
How much have you invested with Socialfix Media?
We spend close to $50,000 per year with Socialfix Media.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’re currently working with them.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Before we revamped our website, we were first or second on searches online. Since the revamp, we’ve lost positioning with those keyword searches. We’re currently working on targeting that and getting our positioning back to where it was before. With everything we’ve been doing, we’ve lost touch with the SEO, but we plan to refocus that this year. We’ve gotten a lot of feedback on the site. We have three dogs here, and Socialfix did a good job of capturing the family feel in our website design.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
The weekly meeting calls are very beneficial to keeping everybody on task. They use Basecamp which keeps us all aware of due dates and expectations. They’re a bit slower, but the quality is far beyond my expectations.
What did you find most impressive about Socialfix Media from other providers?
They are a family business as well, so we have something in common. They like to work on a personal level. If something is not in your price range, they’re always willing to work out the pricing.
Are there any areas Socialfix Media could improve?
My expectation is to see things happen quicker.

Moneyanswers.com is a site that helps people improve their personal financial condition. I’m the founder of the site.
I’m a financial journalist and entrepreneur.
What challenge were you trying to address with Socialfix Media?
My website needed to be revamped.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We took 9 months to a year to plan what we should do to improve the site. The first part was consulting with me to understand who I am. Then, they implemented those ideas with a wireframe and all the resources. I have 50 different videos that I shot that are part of the website. They created a database with MailChimp, blogs, Twitter feeds, and Facebook feeds.
How did you come to work with Socialfix Media?
I met them at a business expo in New York in October of 2013. We had a lot of discussions and meetings and they were very helpful with their ideas.

Over the course of a year, I’ve spent $10,000 to $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began the relationship in February 2014 and are currently working with them.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
The project has paid off big time through the sales of my books, speech bookings, and radio and TV interviews. My affiliates have also gotten more clicks and sales. Socialfix Media is constantly updating their work as my world evolves.
How did Socialfix Media perform from a project management standpoint?
As we were building the site, we had weekly calls. They’ve got contacts all over the world that they were managing for this project. It took longer than I hoped, but they did everything right. They make suggestions as things change in the industry to keep me current.
What did you find most impressive about Socialfix Media?
They do great video production and still photography. The architecture of the website is very good. They’re great with social media and dealing with databases. My business is complex and they were able to figure out how to optimize it.
Are there any areas Socialfix Media could improve?
Things could always be faster but everything worked out well. Occasionally, I would have to push certain developers but in general, I’m happy with the results.
