Let's Tell Your Story!
We tell stories; your stories. Snowy Peak is Denver’s premier video production and animation company. Based in Colorado, we never take our lifestyle for granted. Whether we’re skiing in Vail, fly fishing outside Fort Collins, climbing a 14er in Colorado Springs, whitewater rafting near Buena Vista, or riding a single-track trail near Denver, we live the adventure Colorado brings us every day. But don't worry, if you like what you see, we travel too!
We’re different. When it comes to video production, we take a strategic approach. We work with our clients to maximize their ROI by providing creative and strategic direction for how best to use the videos. Producing a great video is only part of the equation. Building the videos within a larger marketing campaign to drive customer engagement is our goal. We want the video to work for you-otherwise, what’s the point?
Our philosophy is creative collaboration- We work with our clients; listening and working with their vision to help evolve and guide the creative, arriving together at the best strategy for the video campaign. Not every style of video fits every client, so we will never force our vision upon a client. We collaborate as an extension of your team, keeping your brand, messaging, and image consistent throughout the entirety of the campaign.
We know not every client can afford to make a Super Bowl commercial! That’s why we work within our client’s budgets to maximize their investment and provide true High-Quality video production at every price point!
We are a fun group, and while we take our client’s projects seriously, we make sure to make the experience enjoyable. We are a talented team of Directors, Creators, Cinematographers, Producers, Editors, and Animators- all coming together for one goal; to create a video that engages and inspires an audience. No project is too large and no challenge is too big when it comes to creating your perfect video!

Broadcast Commercial for Law Firm
Challenge:
How do you take a household name in Personal Injury Attorneys, introduce a new managing partner, and make them stand out from the rest of the noise?
Solution:
We brought a unique lifestyle approach to the PI Attorney market in a crowded Colorado advertising space. Taking the time to get to know our client, his passions, and personality, allowed us to bring a unique and more human side to what is traditionally a very cookie-cutter commercial genre.

Trouble in Paradise
Challenge
How do you showcase a brand new lifesaving backboard and training course?
Solution
We packed our bags, and camera gear, for a trip to Roatan, Honduras! We spent a week filming on scuba diving boats, and underwater, telling the story of a rescue gone right!

Rocky Mountain Wolf Action Fund
The RMWAF approached us wanting an Introductory and Educational video for public awareness of their campaign. Prior to our client being involved, another video production company had filmed high-quality cinematic footage across parts of Colorado and at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Our goal was to match the quality of their footage and seamlessly blend the two different productions together, all while staying within a tight budget. A very late-season snowstorm also threw a wrench into the plan!
Using a RED Gemini Cinema Camera with Xeen Prime lenses and the DJI Inspire 2 drone, we filmed across three days in Summit County, Colorado. After the late-May snowstorm, we delayed the shoot until mid-June… but wow, was it worth it! The mountains of Colorado were as green as we had ever seen them yet the snow-capped Rockies glistened in the summer sunshine. We worked VERY long days, filming both sunrise and sunset at nearly the summer solstice, but we would do it again in a heartbeat, no questions asked! It was a ridiculously fun shoot and we captured absolutely stunning footage all while staying true to the goal of RMWAF!
Currently, the amazingly cinematic video is being used to garner support and raise awareness about this worthy initiative… We produced one hell of a video that we’re extremely proud of! Honestly, some of the best footage we have ever filmed, especially with such a small crew. We look forward to having the initiative pass in the November 2020 election.

MyGreeley - Open for Biz

The Meadows Castle Rock Community video
The Meadows came to Snowy Peak wanting a video package showcasing their Community in Castle Rock. The video package would supplement a new website that was being developed and would feature the community and its amenities such as Pools, Playgrounds, Open Space, Hiking and Biking Trails, Schools and of course the different types of residential homes.
After meetings with the client to discuss the overall vision and getting familiar with the community, using the RED Dragon 6K Cinema Camera and DJI Ronin, we filmed at various locations in The Meadows over 3 days. We posted on community social channels for residents to be the on-camera talent for the scenes, and we could not be happier with the results! In the end, we created one long-form video and six shorter videos on features within the community.
The Meadows is thrilled with their new community video that launched as part of their new website. We look forward to working with them featuring the new amenities as they are being developed.

Hampton & Pigott Brand Video
As part of an overall Marketing package, Hampton & Pigott approached us in early 2019 needing a long-form Brand Video for use on their new website as well as shorter videos for Advertising use on Social Media channels, all with a limited budget.
Snowy Peak led Hampton & Pigott through two days of filming; the first capturing interviews in the studio on the Canon C200 Cinema Camera and then a busy day of filming, with the RED Gemini Ranger and Xeen Prime lenses, across three locations- starting at sunrise at the State Capitol Building in Denver and ending with a cook-out on a backyard patio (where we captured some amazing slow-mo footage of burgers being flipped on the grill at sunset). Luckily, we had some “stock” drone shots waiting for the perfect project, and they found a home!
Everyone at Hampton & Pigott was very happy with the videos, especially considering the limited budget and long shoot day. They were appreciative of the drone shots and said they were the icing on the cake! You really can have your cake and eat it too! :)

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Director of Marketing for Vectra Bank Colorado. With assets of $3 billion, Vectra Bank Colorado is a proactive, customer-focused organization dedicated to relationship banking. Part of the Zions Bancorporation (NASDAQ: ZION) family of banks, Vectra serves Colorado’s small, middle-market and corporate business clients with 35 locations throughout Colorado, and one in Farmington, New Mexico.
For what projects/services did your company hire Snowy Peak, and what were your goals?
In 2020 Vectra Bank Colorado broke ground on a new corporate center located at Belleview Station in Denver, Colorado. Due to COVID regulations we were unable to host the traditional ground breaking ceremony or topping out ceremonies one would typically associate with a project this size. Snowy Peak was brought in to help us create two videos - one for each event - that would serve as the vehicle in which we could share these construction milestones with our employees and clients from around the state.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Snowy Peak was initially a referral from our ad agency. We have since partnered with them directly on several different projects.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with an initial discovery meeting to help the team understand our vision and goals for each event and project. Following discovery, we provided notes, interviews, and follow-up materials for sections of each video we knew we would want to feature and include. Troy and the team asked great questions, implemented a solid production plan based on our conversation, and helped us to understand all of the options available to us to achieve our goals. This included site visits where necessary and advance interviews.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with a project manager and producer who helped to keep our project on track and on budget. Raw footage was shared via VIMEO and notes were passed back and forth seamlessly during the advanced planning stages and editing process. Very easy to work with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
All of the videos we have created with Snowy Peak have received rave reviews. In each case the team has met, and exceeded, our expectations. Our videos have been shared throughout the bank with customers and employees who would have otherwise not had the opportunity to participate in the construction process - and the videos are helping us to continually create excitement and engagement around this project.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The team is easy to communicate with, provides input and ideas when necessary, and listens intently to your goals and desired outcomes. We found the team to be very responsive and I appreciate their attention to detail and creativity.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I would not hesitate to recommend Snowy Peak productions to anyone seeking professional production services. They impressed me in every instance of our relationship, and the final product was always fantastic. They are a professional, creative, and talented team - you won't go wrong selecting this company for your production needs.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I wish we could have met more often to discuss other ways in which we could leverage the content created? Social media opportunities? Additional clips and edits? The team did such a nice job on the primary project, it would be great to understand additional options for leveraging and sharing their work.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the marketing director for a culinary school. We offer culinary, pastry arts, hospitality, plant-based, holistic nutrition and wellness programs. Available through residential and online format.
For what projects/services did your company hire Snowy Peak, and what were your goals?
Our in-house video team was unable to travel and needed a local videographer to capture our graduation ceremony. Our goal was to create a highlight video and create excitement for future graduates.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
My colleague recommended them. They were avaiable for the project, fit my budget and very helpful navigating a last minute shoot.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
Troy laid out what could be expected from day of shoot to editing process. I was looking for a 90 min video and in the end went with about 2 minutes. The turn around time was quick! I spoke with the editor on the phone as well as left comments directly on the video. He knew exactly my vision and after only three editing rounds the final video was delivered
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
I worked with Troy and Gabe. They both were experts, available and helpful. Troy provided great customer service and Gabe was very talented with his video and editing skills. I appreciated how easy it was to make a video while in another state. I would for sure use them again!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We showed the video to the whole company by sharing on our slack channel. The video will be used in email campaigns, posted on social media, placed on our website, used in ads and promotion for future graduations.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I was stressed finding a last minute videographer to fill the role for our graduation ceremony but as soon as I spoke with Troy I felt confident they were the right ones to get the job done. They explained all the details upfront and helped me navigate areas of the project I didn't have the knowledge for. They were responsive over email but also just picked up the phone to work out details and final edits. The tool they used for video edits was great and easy! Gabe followed up after the shoot and explain how it went since I was unable to be there in person. (Which I appreciated!) The turnaround time was a few days and was able to present the video to our company and graduates in a timely manner.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their professionalism. I felt the job was in good hands. During the editing process I were looking for peices of content that may be able to enhance the piece a bit more and Gabe knew exactly when footage and quotes he could pull for that. Even without much time to brainstorm its outcome, they still captured and edited the piece just how we pictured it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
no, everything was great!

Video Commercials for Personal Injury Law Firm

Please describe your company and your position there.
The Sawaya Law Firm is premier Personal Injury Law Firm based in Denver, Colorado but serving the entire state. I am the Director of Marketing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Snowy Peak, and what were your goals?
After nearly 20 years of producing commercial advertising that all looked the same we wanted to try something new and reach our audience in a fresh new way. After interviewing several Video Production across the nation we realized the best option for us was right in our own backyard with SnowyPeak!
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We interviewed several teams to see our personalities, creative processes, and visions lined up. We watched a handful of different examples to see what each group was capable of and if it fit our vision. SnowyPeak just checked all the boxes...we knew we could work with them and feel comfortable letting them lead the way but also sharing our ideas and visions with them, too!
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with a call just to discuss the goals of the upcoming shoot -- What were our immediate and definitive needs first and then what were the secondary goals. From there we brainstormed today on scripts, locations, wardrobe, etc...and it all just came together one step at a time!
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Our team consisted of several talented individuals but our two main points of contact were Troy and Joe. They are both creative problem solvers which is what we were looking for -- We bring them the ideas and they figure out how to bring it to life. It's great having a team you don't have to be afraid of when you want to tweak something or try a different angle!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our new spots are currently airing and we've gotten overall great feedback. The difference in quality from our last spots is mind blowing. As we add more new commercials in to the mix I'm sure we'll get a better idea on if people dig it or not but so far, so good!
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
I would say the SnowyPeak team is very hands on and overall extremely organized. They are great at taking ideas and making them a reality! They map everything out for you in a Google Doc and it makes thing run so smoothly -- Scripts are also super easy to edit again because you can leave comments and edit for everyone to see on a Google Doc! Utilizing those docs helps keep things moving and cuts down on the need for extra meetings/calls.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The way they can take an idea and bring it to life -- Both are shoots have had pretty creative story lines and they were able to make it work and look better than we even imaginged!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I think each shoot we will get better and better as a team!

Video Production Services for Medical Device Startup Co
“We’ve gotten to a place where we have a high degree of trust and confidence in them.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a startup medical device company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak?
We have devices that we have to do electronic instructions for use as well as for investors and other individuals who need to understand our technology. We work with Snowy Peak to take our devices and animate them in such a way that people understand their use cases and also instructions on how to use the devices properly. We brought on Snowy Peak for their video production services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We began with a couple of smaller animation and video projects. Generally, a project starts off with a phone call then we’re able to communicate through email. When Snowy Peak has the early low-res renders of the images, we’ll walk through those and clean them up. They ultimately put them into high-resolution form. We sign off, and then we’re done.
For most projects, we provided guidance but they worked closely with us to make sure we got it right. Where there were technical challenges, they were very impactful in helping us think through how we wanted to represent that. While we provided most of the guidance, they brought their technical expertise. During the course of our engagement, we’ve done 7–8 animation projects with them. We’ve used the videos for our social media, on our website, and in direct communication in our presentations.
What is the team composition?
We actively interact with 3–4 of their team members.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak?
They were recommended to us. When I came into the company, the founder at the time had done a project with them. I did reach out to a couple of other companies early on when I wanted to make sure we were in the right ballpark when it came to pricing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were very competitive. We’ve continued to use them as we’ve had additional projects.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $35,000–$50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing engagement started around January 2018.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When we run the videos on social media, we get lots of hits and positive feedback from investors and other people we interact with. They express that the videos are well done and it’s easy to understand the workflow of the devices with the animations. We get validation of the value on a daily basis.
We like Snowy Peak’s work and think it’s cost-effective. They’re easy to work with. They are intent on us getting what we wanted. Their team wasn’t afraid to iterate numerous versions to get to where we were satisfied and happy. We evolved into doing more and more projects with them. As we introduce new devices, we’ve really gone to using them exclusively. We don’t go out to bid with other companies because we’ve gotten very comfortable with them and their capabilities.
How did Snowy Peak perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re very open and communicative. Snowy Peak consistently hits their timelines. If we have an urgent, time-sensitive request, they’ve rendered over weekends and stepped beyond normal working hours to get a project done. We’ve found them to be extremely responsive and timely.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We’ve gotten to a place where we have a high degree of trust and confidence in them. We feel like they listen and deliver a product that technically is outstanding at a very competitive price. Our team has had no reason to look elsewhere at this time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind. The longer we’ve worked together, the more we’ve been able to improve our communication. In the beginning, it took longer for the project to mature; there were more iterations. As we’ve worked with them, they’ve become more familiar with us and us with them.
We’ve been able to reduce the cycle time from the time we initiate the project until we get it done. Once we understand what they need at the onset, we’re doing a better job of getting them what they need earlier. Likewise, they’re doing a better job of getting us something back sooner. It’s been a learning process that’s come through time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be as detailed as possible when describing what it is you want. Don’t be afraid to ask them, based on your experience, if your approach is the right one. Snowy Peak has a lot of expertise, and they give good advice from their past projects and experience. Also, be specific and detailed about what you’re looking into. The more information you provide upfront, the better job they’ll do.

Training Videos & Promotional Materials for Nonprofit
"They will help you find your voice and brand in your project."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am a digital learning project manager for a nonprofit located in Denver, Colorado. Our nonprofit organization focuses on providing professional development and training opportunities for current and prospective Montessori educators.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak?
We were already in the process of digitizing several of our training programs before COVID-19. The pandemic accelerated our need to go digital with our tactile and hands-on teacher trainings. We needed a medium to capture those trainings, and we decided that video production was the way to go. In the end, we hired Snowy Peak to create videos for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Snowy Peak’s services include storyboarding, post-production, and site filming. We didn’t really have a specific vision for our videos, as this was uncharted territory for us. Snowy Peak helped us develop a vision for our productions.
At present, we have several ongoing projects with them. In the first wave of our partnership, they made 15–20 videos for us. Our most recent round of work just finished. Since they have been producing phenomenal films, we continue to engage with them in similar projects to create other promotional materials.
What is the team composition?
We collaborate closely with two people from Snowy Peak. We also have a crew of 5–7 folks that work with us on site.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak?
I first saw them on the internet when searched production companies in Denver. After that, we went through an interview process. We had discussions with 10 production companies before settling on Snowy Peak. Their offered pricing was reasonable, and they were flexible on the budget part.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $50,000, so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started collaborating in May 2020, and our work is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
There are very specific ways of doing things in the field of Montessori. Related to that, the Snowy Peak team has been very intentional, precise, and detailed. They have the ability to capture all of the things we ask of them. What stands out the most is their perfect post-production process.
Additionally, they give great suggestions on what the videos could look like. Snowy Peak is very easy to work with. On filming days, when shoots can take almost 12 hours, we appreciate that they are fun to be around with.
We’ve been so happy and extremely pleased with their products and process. I don’t see our engagement changing anytime soon, as everything has been smooth sailing so far. They’re really doing a job well done.
How did Snowy Peak perform from a project management standpoint?
They provide fantastic communication, and they always exceed expectations. We use monday.com as our project management tool. Whenever they need feedback, a link redirects me to a timecode in Vimeo, where I can view what needs to be commented on. In all of our feedback, they have always been receptive, and not once have they complained about our requested revisions. To sum it up, they make things easy and intuitive.
If anything, it’s my workflow that sometimes slows them down. They have been open enough to wait for information or other things they need from me.
Snowy Peak is also very respectful. They are flexible, especially when it comes to pricing. They are also timely and extremely organized. Overall, the project management workflow has been very smooth and helpful for our organization.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their organization, flexibility, and responsiveness stand out. In our engagement with them, we’ve finished over 100 videos already. In all of those productions, Snowy Peak managed to get feedback from different third-party stakeholders and they were able to respond to all of them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think they have any areas to improve upon.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you don’t have a specific vision in mind and if you’re questioning your creative ideas, just lean and trust on Snowy Peak’s knowledge. They are helpful partners, and they will help you find your voice and brand in your project. You don’t have to have everything figured out when you collaborate with them.

Drone Video & Consulting for Full-Service Production Company
"The team is accessible and provides attainable solutions."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner and freelance producer at a video production company. We offer full-scale services that include writing, shooting, directing, producing, and editing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak?
For this project, I hired Snowy Peak for drone operation and directing services for a year-long project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were working on a motorcycle safety and advocacy project. We were working with a social media influencer to promote the organization. Snowy Peak captured overheard footage for the video using their drones. They also helped with video directing and consulted with us on marketing the influencer’s Instagram account.
What is the team composition?
I worked with the two co-owners of the company.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak?
We had a mutual friend that recommended them to us.
How much have you invested with them?
The approximate budget for the project as of now is $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2020. Our most recent shoot took place in August 2020, and we’re still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of the footage was exactly what I needed. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted initially, but they ended up exceeding my expectations. Their consulting services were also helpful because we were in uncharted territory.
How did Snowy Peak perform from a project management standpoint?
They were on target and everything went smoothly. We primarily communicated through email and text messages.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The whole team has worked so well together. It’s been an exciting and fun project to work on. Even on long days, they’re in high spirits. I’ve been really impressed with the footage they’ve gotten.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The drones need to be calibrated differently based on whether you’re inside or outside. One time we had a WiFi issue, so it took a few minutes to calibrate the drones. However, that wasn’t in their control, and it was such a minor issue, so we’re doing great.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They do more than just drone operations. The team is accessible and provides attainable solutions, so use them to your advantage.

3D Animation for Creative Design & Visual Solutions Company
"They are always very responsive and quick to answer any questions or solve any problems that we might have."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder and president of a marketing and visual solutions company called Cherry Creative.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak?
Snowy Peak has worked with me on a wide variety of video production projects over the years, but one of the biggest they performed for this company was a 3D animation project.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They have a really well-established process for anything like this, so we started by scoping out exactly what we wanted to do, as well as what you don’t. We provided a script, but they handled the process from storyboarding to postproduction helping to contribute ideas along the way.
The video was about the use of oil spill cleanup equipment, so they animated the whole sequence because the real process hadn’t been conducted yet. They presented us with drafts as we went along, and after two rounds of edits, we had the final product.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with a few key individuals on their team who have stayed the same over the years, but they have a wide variety of contract partners that they can pull in as needed.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak?
I originally heard about them by word of mouth from people in the industry, and after the first few projects wet well, they became my partner for just about every video production project I have.
What is the status of this engagement?
That project lasted from about February–May 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their service has been a critical element in our business’s capability to provide this kind of service. When you are working with a client, you have to be able to give them hard deadlines and not worry about whether the deliverables are going to be there when you need them, so having a partner that we can trust makes everything infinitely easier and go much smoother.
How did Snowy Peak perform from a project management standpoint?
I mostly communicate with them in person or over email, and text. We occasionally have video conferences when we can’t get together physically, but for the most part, we are able to go back and forth with files in Dropbox, making changes or notes as needed. They are always very responsive and quick to answer any questions or solve any problems that we might have.
What did you find most impressive about them?
You really can’t underestimate the importance of liking the people you work with. They are fun partners, and always professional as well. That combination makes the partnership significantly more enjoyable and easier than it would be if they were only one or the other.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing stands out to me as something they could really do differently or improve upon.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Try to be as clear as you can in the scope of work. As long as you have a really good understanding of your goal for the project, then you can listen to what their advice is without hesitation because they have a lot of really good ideas that can help you get where you’re going.

Video Production for Behavioral Health Startup
"Snowy Peak Entertainment did a good job creating high-quality content with limited resources."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a marketing associate for a behavioral healthcare startup.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak Entertainment?
We hired them to create video content for three different audiences. We’re a dual marketplace so we provide services to both therapists and those seeking therapy, yet we also wanted to create content about the brand as a whole.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Snowy Peak Entertainment created three types of videos for us: one client-facing, one therapist-facing, and one encompassing our brand. They produced three two-minute videos that summarizing how our business works for each audience. They also created testimonial videos from therapists that we’re already partnered with and then produced 10–15 short clips from those that our in-house marketing team could use as social media advertisements.
The team was involved in each aspect, including creating the concept, scripting, storyboarding, planning the production, shooting, and editing.
What is the team composition?
We worked with Troy (Founding Partner, Snowy Peak Entertainment) and Joe (Founding Partner, Snowy Peak Entertainment). On shooting days, 5–8 additional staff members were on set, rotating depending on our needs. On certain days, different camera-people or sound specialists were present.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak Entertainment?
We wanted someone who wouldn’t need their hand to be held and could jump in without needing our marketing team to guide them. Snowy Peak Entertainment created an awesome proposal for us and walked us through what they envisioned for our videos. They ensured they would take on everything to produce the final product without needing many check-ins or significant guidance, which was what we wanted.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent just over $25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement ran from November 2019–February 2020. We’re wrapping up the last bits of the project in the next two weeks.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Snowy Peak Entertainment did a good job creating high-quality content with limited resources. We had an excellent experience.
How did Snowy Peak Entertainment perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great at project management. Their team was extremely organized and introduced us to a new software so our team could leave feedback on the videos. Their patience while I gathered feedback from my team was great. They responded to my emails within the hour, which was super helpful when I needed a quick answer to a question.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Even though we were able to provide them with an abundance of people to film on camera and had confined spaces to film in, they were still able to do a good job and be scrappy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wish I had more time with them in-person to convey edits or adjustments. Sometimes it was challenging through email and phone for those things, so I would have liked to meet up and have a working session.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of business development for Western LLC, an aerospace development company. We provide construction and development work on airports all across the US.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak?
While we excel at word-of-mouth marketing, we were looking to create marketing videos to clarify and communicate the full spectrum of services that we offer. We wanted something that could paint a picture of who we are.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Snowy Peak consulted with us about our vision and aims. They guided us on the video’s visual appeal and discussed what aesthetics would be effective. Then, their videographers filmed the video in multiple locations, and delivered post-production work.
The main deliverable was a 4-minute marketing video about who we are, what we do, and why we do it. We proceeded to showcase the finished product at our tradeshow. This video will soon be up on our website and Vimeo page. On top of that, it’ll also be featured in our email newsletters and social media.
What is the team composition?
There were about eight people working on the video in total.
How did you come to work with Snowy Peak?
Our marketing team conducted a nationwide search for great video-marketers. We stumbled across them, and they happened to be a local, Colorado-based company. That made them really easy to work with, and once we looked at their work, they were our obvious choice.
How much have you invested with them?
It was a $25,000 video production project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began our work in August, and it was all done in less than six weeks. We wrapped up in October 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The finished video helped us generate more leads at the trade show. They were incredible to work with, all around. They were consistently on top of the project, and I never had any doubts about whether they’d be able to deliver. They were exceptionally patient with us—they held our hand through all the different processes. Whenever I had a concern, they were able to put it to rest immediately.
How did Snowy Peak perform from a project management standpoint?
Phenomenally. All communication issues came from our own side when we were laser-focused on our own services. They delivered well within our deadline; their turnaround time on the video was very impressive. They were communicative and transparent about all budget expectations.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They specialize in video production, where they really shine. They’re veterans in the field, and their work is top-notch. They know what quality is. They were also outstandingly honest with us about everything they did.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything. They’d be the first ones I call, the next time we need anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Open up to let them know what you’re trying to achieve. Allow them some creative freedom, because I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with what they can create.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
As the owner of ICI Video Production, I am an independent video producer and videographer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snowy Peak Entertainment?
I’ve hired Snowy Peak Entertainment to supplement resources for post-production and animation projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Most projects focus on editing, animated graphics, and post-production for commercials. For television, the team assists on testimonials, marketing videos, and infomercials. Recently, I served as producer/director on a campaign for a national medical device. Snowy Peak Entertainment provided extra resources for that campaign.
What is the team composition?
I work with at least one of the permanent employees—whoever they think is best to handle the project. Given their smaller size, Snowy Peak Entertainment hires contractors when they need additional resources.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent between $10,000–$25,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in 2013 and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I keep hiring Snowy Peak Entertainment because they can turn projects around quickly—with a few days—and on budget. The team’s professionalism, availability, and high-quality production add to the production value, especially for animated graphics. Ultimately, they bring a skill set that I don’t pretend to have and deliver a product that I would shoot myself. The team takes my production a whole new level.
How did Snowy Peak Entertainment perform from a project management standpoint?
Snowy Peak Entertainment is thorough and manages projects meticulously from start to finish. Likewise, the team communicates directly and assists with research for marketing, planning, branding, renaming, and logo design. Their ability to deliver on a small budget greatly impressed one of my clients.
We stay in regular contact via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings. While the team has tried to get me to use Basecamp, we haven’t needed to track our dialogue in such a way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re great people with versatile skill sets—and it shows when working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
One of their staff had struggled with content creation. I brought up the issue and we worked through it. The team was open to feedback and successfully resolved the problem because they knew it impacted the quality of their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Rely on the team’s expertise and ability to guide the project in the right direction. Ask questions and provide detailed information about the goals, business, and company culture. The more information Snowy Peak Entertainment has, the more successful the project will be.
All of the videos that Snowy Peak produced received rave reviews from customers, employees, and partners. The team was easy to work with — they listened attentively, provided creative inputs accordingly, and always responded in a timely manner. They were also professional, thorough, and skilled.
