For what projects/services did your company hire Snappii, and what were your goals?
We wanted to develop a mobile app to help track construction progress on our jobs, and purchase orders. Our goals were to increase cost efficiency and productivity tracking.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Found them on Google and scheduled a demo. They had good flexibility, and customization when it came to app production and meeting our overall needs.

They already had a templated design for our construction daily log and modified it to fit our needs. In regards to the purchase order app we needed something that would help us track and make issuing purchase orders easier. We asked the Snappii team to design something simple yet efficient in order to get a higher usage rate from the end users. They help create a three step process that now allows us to issue and track every purchase order in the company. This has also helped us reduce the amount of paper consumption throughout the company and allows us to maintain real live data for our management team.

We had two members from the Snappii team help us on a regular basis, one was the VP of Sales and the other was the lead designer from the development team.

We are mechanical, electrical, Integrated Building Technology and building services contractors. We deliver excellence to our clients, via service, quality and price. My position is Director of Procurement and I have a team across the country which is responsible for day-to-day purchasing.
For what projects/services did your company hire Snappii, and what were your goals?
We hired Snappii to assist in taking Procurement to the nest level in construction. I wanted to build a very simple Purchasing APP that would focus on the end User, which Snappii did. As simple as the APP may appear to the end User it is packed full of features and controls for the Admins who train the end Users on their particular module.
There are 4 to 5 modules within the Purchasing APP and depending on the end Users responsibilties they will be assigned specifically to one. Ultimate goal was greater visibility on Purchasing and this custom APP is that and much, much more.
How did you select Snappii and what were the deciding factors?
When starting down this journey I was looking at a simple form conversion. Unfortunately a form is nothing more than a static report. I was I need of something more dynamic that will change, grow and adapt as our business grew. I needed data. That is where Snappii comes in. I have worked with them now for years and Darleen, Anatoly and the Snappii team shared my vision in building this APP and the rest is history.

The scope of work in detail is listed below, Design the APP from the ground up from appearence to fit, form and function , Create a simple Purchasing APP for end Users on the iOS platform - Give total control of the Purchasing APP to its' Admins - Build a feature rich APP with Purchasing, Receiving and Reports, Have Catalogues, How To, Videos and Vendor Matrix all in one APP/
Also, Able to Approve or Decline Requisitions, Able to add suppliers, projects and users, Able to block suppliers and users, Able to incorperate a data base of part numbers and cost codes, Countless sandboxes submitted and hours and hours of testing done, APP had to be dynamic and changed very often, etc, etc, for too much to enter,

I typically had 2 point of contacts with Snappii, Darleen and Anatoly were my main contacts. Darleen is the VP of Sales and Anatoly is the Project Manager overseeing this build. There are countless of developers and coders as well and Anatoly would liaison in between.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Snappii set out to do what they promised and delivered a working Purchasing APP as designed by myself. Dates were met even as I made some changes on the fly. One thing Snappii has always guaranteed, is that the Purchasing APP will work as intended and will be fixed at no additional cost until it is 100% completed as designed.

Both Anatoly and Darleen often would provide input and feedback on the design and functionality of the APP. This was extremely valuable as I needed an outsiders' perspective at times. They would ask key questions as to what I am trying to achieve / accomplish and provide alternate solutions many times to reach the end goal. Always both were very professional and courteous, timelines and delverables were communicated often.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Snappii does not say no. I must have thrown them so many curb balls while developing this Purchasing APP. Again very dynamic with so many moving parts and very intricate. Yes the APP is very simple to use for the end User, but the detail behind it and the control we have over it is phenomenal. Basically this is an ERP system, perhaps that is the direction I will go next, lol.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Honestly no. They have done what they have promised and much more. This was uncharted for us all but together we made it happen.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the board chairman at a sportsmen’s club. We offer fishing, archery, and shooting sports. We have 350 members in our club, and their average age is about 60–80 years old.
What challenge were you trying to address with Snappii?
Our members need to sign in and sign out every time they arrive and depart the club. We had manual signs in sheets and log books, but we wanted to automate that process by having a self-service application that would run on a tablet. We needed an app that would be very intuitive, simple, and quick to use for people who may not be technically savvy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We created the final scoped document for the initial version of the app and sent it to Snappii. Once the scope was finalized, they understood the requirements and submitted a final quotation. We accepted it and made the payment.
Snappi developed and built an Android and iOS app from one of the application templates they had already used. They took it and tweaked it. Now, Snappi is working on an app’s new version for us to add some additional features. It’s currently in production.
What is the team composition?
I didn’t know how many people worked on the project in the background, but I had two main points of contact.
How did you come to work with Snappii?
We reached out to a few development companies. I spoke to each of them giving a high-level overview, and they provided an estimate of what the effort was. We selected Snappii because we liked their approach. It was cleaner. They also had a technology platform that allowed them to easily modify existing use case applications, so they had a library of existing products. For me, that meant the cost would be lower and the delivery would be faster.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $10,000 considering the development and ongoing fees.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from December 2020–January 2021. However, we’re working with Snappi again on the application’s updates.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Snappii didn’t need guidance. Once we discussed what we were looking for, they understood. Then, they came back with the initial release for testing, and it was probably 95% accurate. The app didn’t have any bugs or crashes. My only feedback was about the UX’s esthetic like the button and font sizes. Since we started the app, the performance had been very quick. We were very happy with the results.
How did Snappii perform from a project management standpoint?
The Snappii team was always very responsive. If we had any questions, we got answers back and forth, either via email or telephone. That’s how we communicated.
Snappi always met the guidelines and deadlines they gave to us. They told us we would have the app’s initial version within 3–4 weeks, and we got it within two weeks. We also did the production process within four weeks. Snappii over delivered.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Compared to Snappii’s competitors, the salesperson who I spoke to at the beginning of the project was more interested in making the work for us than just getting our business. They were concerned about the deliverables and if they’d be usable, or made us happy.
I appreciated Snappii’s style of making sure that we were a proper fit. In the understanding that we’d work well with them, and they’d work well in return. Snappii’s sales approach was very comfortable. They treated us like a million-dollar customer.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Snappi could improve on asking validating questions to confirm their understanding. Otherwise, I’d assume they got the right idea. When we tested the product, there were things that made no sense to me but made total sense to them. Asking questions could avoid some language barriers.
Any advice for potential customers?
I recommend making sure that Snappi documents and completely understands what the requirements and deliverables of the project are.

Please describe your organization and the role that you play there.
I'm the owner of an app that I have designed to assist tradespeople, such as plumbers, electricians, and carpenters. It allows them to estimate their jobs and account for all of their billing costs and create invoices.
Please give a broad overview of how you have partnered with Snappii.
I created a brief outline of what I wanted the app to do and how I wanted it to function. Through emailing back and forth with Snappii, they were able to deliver a custom application that met the requirements I wanted.
What was the business challenge your company was facing that incited the need for an application?
Time was the big challenge. The fact that to learn everything that I needed to know to make the app myself could to take a year was a problem. Snappii has a platform where you can build your own apps, but I don't have that much time. I decided to outsource the app directly to them as a custom development project. I feel the results were great. I also outsource the maintenance to them.
Did your company have a formal selection process for deciding on a mobile app development partner?
I found Snappii through an Internet search. I had almost signed an agreement with an independent developer that I found online when I found Snappii. After viewing Snappii's Web page and reading what they're all about, I felt more comfortable dealing with them.
Can you share any success, metrics, or overall results of your implementation of this app development platform?
I haven't really spent a lot of money on advertising. If you look at other mobile invoicing apps the competition is spending lots of money on AdWords and different methods of advertising. I'm on a lower budget. I'm trying to design a model where I'm not spending huge amounts of money to acquire customers. I also found that when I approach a customer directly, I usually get a sale. As soon as I explain the app and describe it, it sells. It doesn't sell if it's just on the net and they don't understand it. I've created some videos that I have on YouTube, and I have a video on our home website. Those will help, but I need more traffic to those videos, but I find that plumbers and electricians are not necessary on the net all the time. They're typically not that type of consumer.
Are there areas for improvement?
When Snappii completed the app, they didn't let me review everything before they submitted it to the app stores.

Please describe your organization.
We're a structural engineering firm, with about a thousand employees nationwide, but primarily on the West Coast. We do everything from high-rise structures to small stuff.
What is your position?
I'm a project manager.
What business challenge were you trying to address with Snappii?
We were trying to come up with an efficient way of performing structural assessments of buildings to where we didn't have to spend hours in the office formatting documents, inserting pictures, and trying to turn it around so that our client could get a report quicker.
Please describe the scope of their involvement in detail.
Snappii helped us to create an app where we can walk around with a tablet on our assessment visits. We can now have our tablets in hand with the questions and are able to answer those questions through the tablet. By the end of the day, the report is completed, emailed to ourselves for quality assurance and quality review, and able to be sent to the client that same day. The design work was done between Snappii and myself.
How did you come to work with Snappii?
Snappii had tools out there that were already similar to what we were looking for, so based on that, we had a good understanding of what they could do for us.
Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?
It was from $1,000 to $10,000.
Which platforms do you have the app on?
Right now, we can use our app on Android. The iOS was actually crashing when they had finished writing the code for it. I believe it should run on iOS shortly.
Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?
In the month of June, which was right after the app was finished, we were able to evaluate a magnitude greater amount of assessment visits and create the reports than we were able to without the application.
What distinguishes Snappii from other providers?
Overall, I think it went very well. Snappii stood up to their end of the bargain. I think they ended up having to do a lot more work than they thought they were going to for this project, but they stood up to what they said they were going to do. The communication was clear, and flowed well both ways.
In hindsight, are there areas in which they could improve, or things you might do differently?
I don't really have anything. I think they did a great job.

We are a landscaping construction/maintenance company with snow removal services in winter. Snappi allow us to create reports trough out workers phone which are sent by email to the clients.
We are also able to keep track of the man hours. Snappi also allow us to create safety documents the same way. Such as safety meeting, vehicle/crew inspections, workers evaluations.

we have 5 office staff and several crews depending on work load. Each crew has between 3 to 5 people.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Before the reports were drafted by our crew lead by using emails but were very deficient and non standard. The man hours were hard to keep track off.
