Pura Vida Naturals was challenged with establishing brand awareness and brand affinity as well as building a profitable subscription-based business, one that created a foundation for sustainable profit.

I interviewed about a dozen different firms and SLTC was the firm that saw the vision and had great communication.

We held a kick-off meeting that really set the ground work for the month long management. Over the weeks after the kickoff the team was in contact with me on keeping me up to date with any issues or concerns. After about the first couple weeks we had another call to touch base and we changed some of our plans.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
An account manager, multiple social media team members, and a business developer. The process was extremely well kept and easy for myself to follow.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since we were starting from the ground up, there has been quite a lot of growth in the platforms. The team has been able to get consistent growth numbers for each of the three platforms.

The workflow has been great. They communicated well and have met all deadlines.

They have team members from across the world working on your project. Their team members are knowledgeable, and they communicate their action plan well.

I am the founder of Être, a mentorship platform for girls. We bring girls directly into companies they choose to meet female leaders face to face.

Our original website was built on a drag & drop platform, and was as handmade as it looked! I hired SLT to revamp the website, seeking the same energetic look and feel of our first book that was coming out the same year. We needed the site to host resources, mentor interviews, published articles and much more.

Sharon Thony had already been an enormous help to me when Être first built a social media presence, and when she launched SLT I jumped at the chance to work with her team. I knew she would collect the smartest & most creative team available, and I couldn't wait to link Être's future to that group.

Having our first website & book draft in hand, I worked with the SLT team to convey the Être vibe. They "got it" immediately, and I remember being thrilled every time a new page draft appeared on the screen. SLT revamped existing pages, helped to build new pages, and thoughtfully threaded new and engaging features across the platform. When we launched the new site on Être's 5th birthday, 100 girls joined the virtual reveal party and the SLT team walked them through their new "home" with joy.

We worked with 3 people on the website redesign, and we currently work with a team of 3 for website maintenance and social media planning.

Website traffic grew immediately and our integration of the social platforms with the new site demonstrated growth month on month as well. Their vision for us came through in the metrics exactly as they proposed.

Our website and brands had been created almost a decade ago and we needed them to be modernized ahead of the organization's 10 year anniversary. With the rebranding and modernization, our goal was to put the org on par with similar national organizations.

We looked at a number of vendors through various referrals. We selected SLT because of their professionalism, experience and expertise with branding and because of the cost-efficiency of their proposal.

The project lasted 6 months and finished on time, ahead of the org 10th-anniversary celebration. There were bi-weekly meetings to review and give feedback on the progress. Once the branding was completed, we moved on to the website redesign. In addition to the bi-weekly meetings we were able to monitor changes via the staging site and email the design team with additional feedback.

In total we worked with 4 people, the Business Developer, Project Manager, Brand Designer and Web Designer.

The workflow was very efficient. There were regular scheduled video conferences but most of the communication was via email.

I hired SLT to design and develop a dedicated website for holiday gift baskets and mail order gourmet foods. The site included subscriptions, build-a-basket bundles, and corporate gifts.

To develop an attractive Shopify website with advanced functionality and launch it in time for the holiday season.
How did you select SLT Consulting?
SLT provided a comprehensive proposal with smart solutions for the desired functionality that met our budget and timeline. The team really impressed us with their knowledge and understanding of our objectives.
Describe the project in detail.
We had two initial meetings to define the scope of work and develop a timeline and deliverables. The designer/developer created wireframes and mock-ups. Once approved, she built out the home page, collection pages, and product pages. Then she added and customized the relevant apps. Next phase was adding content (copy and images). Finally we tested the site and launched it on time. I was especially pleased with the videos the developer created to help train our team.
What was the team composition?
I worked with an account rep and then directly with a designer/developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The website was a success, generating over $60K in revenue during the 2020 holiday season.

The designer/developer met the deadline and made herself available when we needed additional help.

I was most impressed by the design and development process. SLTC really went the extra mile to fulfill our objectives. I also appreciated all of the ways in which they educated me and my team on how to manage the site once it was built.
