Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and co-founder of a digital health company that focuses on providing a telehealth platform and public health analytics. In the future, we will provide healthcare financing for developing countries.
What challenge were you trying to address with SLIQ?
We needed to develop a website to gain clients and apply for grants. Additionally, we already had a brand identity, but we needed to refine how to present ourselves.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SLIQ took our logo and brand guidelines and helped us build a website on WordPress. They also helped us refine the content we already had and implement it on said website. Additionally, they implemented mock-up demos of our products on it so that we could show them to the potential grantors and impact investors we were targeting.
What is the team composition?
We worked with around five people from SLIQ. Initially, I worked with Will (Problem Solver), who then brought Anthony (Product Design & Management) and another person who helped us rewrite our content. We also worked with a person on the administrative side, who coordinated our meetings and received our feedback to organize the updates and changes needed, as well as with another person who was in charge of updating the site towards the end.
How did you come to work with SLIQ?
I had previously worked with Will on an NFT project for another organization. I saw how good of a job he did on that project, so when it was time for my company to have a website, he was the first person I thought of. I contacted him, and he looped in his team, bringing in a teammate who had experience with telehealth companies. They had the resources we needed, so we took it from there.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked from April–June 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
My co-founders thought that SLIQ’s work was very well done. We needed to create a very soft, positive language for our content, and they met our specifications by tailoring it to the way we wanted. Friends and family members also loved our new site due to the great design that fits our company’s purpose.
How did SLIQ perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated with SLIQ via Google Meet and Gmail. They used Figma to create the wireframes, where I could provide feedback. Throughout the project, we had three meetings on Google Meet: one when they delivered the lo-fi prototypes, another when they delivered the hi-fi prototypes, and a final sign-off meeting. The rest of the feedback was provided via Figma in between meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SLIQ was very communicative, responsive, flexible, and receptive to feedback. When I hired them, I already knew that they delivered quality work, so I simply trusted them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It would be great if SLIQ incorporated more people in different time zones as they grow. Some of their designers were in different time zones than ours’, which caused small delays in implementing our feedback. However, those delays didn’t cause any issues, and changes were implemented within the next 24–48 hours

I’m the CEO of Outlaws Oasis, a day spa that offers skin care services.
What challenge were you trying to address with SLIQ?
I was trying to build a website but didn’t have the skills, so I reached out to SLIQ.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SLIQ developed my website from scratch on Wix. I provided them with the color palette, content, and page requirements. The site needed to be user-friendly and have a soft aesthetic because of the nature of our company and industry. I wanted to ensure that the site addressed any questions visitors might have. SLIQ integrated booking functionalities, service explanations, and an about page.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Anthony (Product Designer) and another teammate from SLIQ By Design.
How did you come to work with SLIQ?
A friend recommended looking at Wix partners for development help. So, I put out the project information via Wix, and several companies responded. I planned to hire a different team, but SLIQ’s team made me very comfortable, so I hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
I invested $2,000 with SLIQ.
What is the status of this engagement?
My partnership with SLIQ was from December 2021–March 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website hasn’t been up for an entire month, so I don’t have specific metrics. I’m getting more site traffic, but I’m not confident it can be contributed to the new site. The site is beautiful, and I’ve received a lot of compliments from visitors.
How did SLIQ perform from a project management standpoint?
SLIQ’s communication was up to par, although there were several points when there were more than 24 hours between emails. However, those instances were usually over holidays or the weekend, so it was expected. When we weren’t using email, we would communicate through phone calls. There were several setbacks from my end, but SLIQ ensured that we stuck to my extended timeline. The teammates from SLIQ were excellent. I was having a hard time providing feedback, but their team was patient and understanding.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Communication was my number one priority, and SLIQ’s was excellent. Not only that, but their listening skills were amazing — they applied all of my feedback perfectly and were very patient with my changes throughout the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’d suggest that SLIQ be more conscious of punctuality. I requested my website on March 1st, but SLIQ could not deliver until March 2nd. It wasn’t a huge issue, but there is room for improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise any customer to communicate clearly with SLIQ’s team. They’re excellent at helping people with no experience making a website.

Our company was on the verge of adopting a new set of customers due to an award we received from Google regarding our services. To prepare, we reached out to Hoshaymi for a new web design.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose Hoshaymi after reviewing a wide selection of vendors. After meeting with each one we felt the most comfortable with Hoshaymi as they understood what our goal was without us having to explain every little detail. They brought our vision to life but not only listening to our wants but also pitching a lot of their own ideas which helped us reach our goal.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We had one discovery call where they asked very detailed questions allowing them to grasp the concept and vision. After this they brought back a design for us to view which was above and beyond what we expected.
Following the second meeting we just had a few more throughout the weeks to do the final touches and edits on each page of the website. The entire process was very quick and they listened and took action on every little detail we mentioned.

The workflow was phenomenal. We met up exactly on the dates and times that were discussed, there was no delay on their end when it came to providing us a demo of the site. They didn't request additional time for the amount of work we gave them regardless of how little time there was.
Hoshaymi definitely worked day after day with our team to ensure we are receiving everything we want.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their expertise in Google and our entire work place was very impressive. They had already known about our competitors which shows the amount of research they did prior to the initial call and us even agreeing to work with them. Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the co-managing director at a private investment group. I come from a marketing background, so my role falls in line with marketing responsibilities. I also handle other tasks in sales and business development areas.
What challenge were you trying to address with Hoshaymi?
We hired Hoshaymi to help us gain a market presence as an investment group. That way, we could express our ethos for prospecting companies to get a feel of our offerings. We wanted customers to know our differentiators in the market against other competitive investment groups.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In the beginning, we had a series of Zoom calls with Hoshaymi. Our initial calls were conducted with Will (Owner) and his team members, including designers and copywriters. They gauged our interests and gave us a game plan based on those. Then, Will sent us a series of in-depth surveys that helped him pinpoint the key factors we wanted to address. After that, we talked about designs and similar things. From there, Will connected us with their designers. Together, we picked our brains and learned how we could put our brand together.
Then, Hoshaymi built our website. We had discussions around the type of websites we could build, and the decision came down to the purpose of such a website. Instead of adopting a more costly approach, we decided to save money. For instance, we decided against having a login portal for investors. I thought we needed that, but it truly wasn’t important.
In other words, Hoshaymi helped us pick the path of least resistance and most efficient route. In the end, we kept the website simple; there was no need to overcomplicate things. We only wanted to showcase our group, accomplishments, experience, portfolio, and technology. The website also provided an opportunity for people to reach out to us.
At present, Hoshaymi provides website maintenance services for us. If we need to change something, we message them directly to make the change within a few minutes. The team also offers other services that we haven’t used at the moment. However, we’ll soon ramp up and scale our work, so we’ll use them for our SEO and other marketing initiatives like blogging.

Apart from Will, I’ve also spoken with their head designer. Meanwhile, their direct assistant handles logistics, coordinates and facilitates calls, and makes sure we’re on schedule. Will has also led calls as we give feedback and suggestions. I also interface with their backend programmer for troubleshooting any bugs we find.

We found Hoshaymi through word of mouth. Since I was in California and they were located in the Bay Area, I heard of Will and his work. He was known in other creative industries. As a result, I inquired about him and Hoshaymi as a company. When I searched around for website designers, they were a natural avenue for us to take. That was how we started the engagement.

We started working with them in May 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

We don’t have any quantitative metrics since our goal is to have a digital presence for companies that are interested in investing with us. Nonetheless, when we jump on a call with clients, we’re able to use the website to provide information about our business. Customers can use the site, along with our contact information, to get back to us if they want to proceed with the partnership. Since we’re an online business, we truly need this website that Hoshaymi has delivered.
How did Hoshaymi perform from a project management standpoint?
Hoshaymi’s project management has been great. They’re not only highly responsive; they also work quickly. They have a greater sense of urgency than we do, which works in our favor when opportunities line up for us. I truly appreciate that.
For tools, we’ve used a few platforms to help us view wireframes without disrupting Hoshaymi’s work. We’ve also used Google Documents and other tools to leave comments on the wireframes.
To communicate, we use Zoom calls and emails. Even though we’re in the same state and only a couple of hours away from each other, both of us are also busy. As a result, the easiest way for us to meet is via Zoom. On top of that, their team is global; they have a designer in Florida, and Will’s assistant is based in Lebanon.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Hoshaymi’s attention to detail in terms of customer service distinguishes them from other providers. That keeps their customers happy. Moreover, the team is flexible even when they have to jump on calls on short notice. On top of that, they fix issues fast. These things go a long way and make me want to recommend them to anybody who needs such services.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They can scale their business better. If Will can figure out a way to put together more scalable resources, they’ll have a killer offer. From an investment standpoint, their offers are standard and they can go further. It’s just a matter of finding resources and the right people for different roles.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to Hoshaymi — or any other design group or agency for that matter — and meet the team to get a better sense of their punctuality and communication. If you can’t meet them in person, get on Zoom and see them there. Gauging their qualities through such meetings can make or break your experience, so look beyond their portfolio.

I’m the account director and CEO of a business consulting firm. We do anywhere from licensing to contracts and marketing strategies for companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Hoshaymi?
They built my website from the ground up.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Hoshaymi went ahead and developed our entire website. They quoted us depending on how many pages we wanted and wrote some of the copy for the site, so they needed some information about the business.
Initially, they asked us what direction we wanted to go on how it’d look like. We had a vision with specific colors and images. In particular, I wanted light bulbs to show that we take ideas from the beginning stage to the end. Hoshaymi picked many images and sent them to us to approve them first. They sent us a website copy before they finished the site so we could pick and choose what we liked before it was publicized.
They do the maintenance for the website, and we’re currently working on another site.
What is the team composition?
I’d worked with their whole team. The CEO and his assistant are my main points of contact.

We’ve gotten a lot of great feedback. I’m very particular about my business because it’s my name, and I was very satisfied with the results. They really embodied my vision and did a great job.
Moreover, the website has impacted the company. Many of our clients are coming in through our site. We had a lot of fallback due to the two companies that I’ve been transitioning, but we’ve gotten a lot of clicks on social media and the website within the past six months. Additionally, they send me a report about engagement every six weeks, and we’ve seen a lot of growth.
How did Hoshaymi perform from a project management standpoint?
When we initially met, they asked about our budget and estimated how much it would cost. We had weekly meetings every Sunday. The team explained the process, and they included us throughout the stages of development. They made the great effort of keeping us in the loop so we wouldn’t worry about what they were doing, which took the stress away.
We communicated over emails and Google Meet. If there was something urgent that they needed us to approve, we had phone calls here and there.

The way they went about business was outstanding. They were very transparent about how they were progressing. We’ve done business with people who aren’t as transparent, and Hoshaymi not only listened to what we wanted, but they also made sure we were included in what they were building. They delivered on branding assets like logos and guidelines. They worked on delivering Zeplin files for our review and after approval, the development happened using Webflow. And then they optimized for search engine.

They were very communicative and responsive to our needs and changes especially since we had some last-minute changes with some speakers. We gave them a deadline and they worked to have our site up and ready by the date.

Fitness product for weightlifting. My position is the owner.
For what projects/services did your company hire Hoshaymi, and what were your goals?
I hired him to help build my brand, designing my logo, designing my apparel, product mock ups for manufacturing. My goals were launching a product with an established brand and quickly identify the value of the product via the website.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The company had an impressive portfolio and seemed to understand my concept and vision.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We wanted to build a logo that had the right font, style and colors to match my vision. Once the logo was establish we wanted to create product mock ups to help the manufacturer under what we are looking to build. After parrying that with apparel designs and eBook, we moved forward in designing the website which included various packages to bundle with the product. Once we completed the design we moved onto completing the full website and completing the project

2 people worked with me, project manager and web designer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
I loved the logo, the eBook was exactly what I was looking for. I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome.

They outlined the full scope of work and set up individual meetings for project kick off, design and development. We were able tocomplete the website in a timely manor.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The branding and the website were outstanding but the ability to create accurate mock ups of the products really helped both the manufacturer and help the product for launch.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I cannot think of anything on the top of my head. The whole process went very well.
SLIQ was able to meet the client’s needs by creating a well-designed site with content appealing to target investors. The team was very communicative, trustworthy, and open to feedback. They were also outstandingly responsive and flexible, delivering quality work that satisfied the client.
