Rebrand & New Website Assets (Consultancy B2B)
We partnered with Mercuri International to rebrand their identity in order to better position them in their growing, global landscape. The brand urgently needed to reposition itself as a modern, attractive, and consistent brand, promoting Mercuri’s global expertise and experience in delivering customized training solutions. A new logo, color scheme, brand blueprint and website assets brought the new brand to life, espousing its benefits to clients.

Rebrand, Redesign, Campaigns & Website Development
We live in one of the richest cities in the world. Yet one out of four of our residents suffer from food insecurity. Say what?! Yes, that means they actually do not know where their next meal will be coming from.
Three years ago when we first heard this statistic, we were thrust into action, eager to help in any way we could. That has resulted in a revamped brand, it has led to the design and promotion of events such as One Big Table and Hack Hunger. It has led to print ads, bus wraps, outdoor signage, an annual report, logos and of course a brand new website.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a global marketing manager at Mercuri International Group, a sales consultancy.
What challenge were you trying to address with Sköna?
We needed help to retouch up our brand when we did a repositioning. We then realized we needed a total makeover.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They helped us with a new brand positioning for a messaging platform. They also did our logo and new colors and brand design. They also supported us in providing a new design for our website. They said that we couldn’t just touch up our logo, but we needed to change the logo because it didn’t work on all digital devices.
We are now on a monthly retainer with them because they support us in a lot of other projects. They’re helping us with a company video that we’re producing as well as with any other support we need.
What is the team composition?
I worked extremely closely with our contact person. We worked with the team in Stockholm, but they also have an office in the US where they create the design work. I don’t know how many people in the US were involved in the design, but I’ve been in contact with at least 6–7 people in Sweden.
How did you come to work with Sköna?
An external consultant that I worked with recommended Sköna.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2018 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With all the new templates and design on our new website, it made a huge impact. We received a lot of positive responses internally when we presented it. We had the same logo since 1960 and were expecting negative comments, but we only received positive comments. We’ve received a lot of positive feedback from our customers as well in regards to us being perceived as being more modern, that it’s easier to understand what we’re about, and that our offering is much easier to understand.
How did Sköna perform from a project management standpoint?
I love our fantastic project manager. She’s wonderfully service-minded and is always trying to help. She works proactively and comes with ideas. She listens well and is always available day or night. We use phone calls, email, face-to-face meetings, and design tools for any presentations.
We were in close contact. They listened to us and understood us quickly. We were delighted with what they delivered from the start.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They truly understood what we wanted and came back with ideas that we liked immediately. They delivered on time with tight deadlines. They worked after hours to get it done. We were impressed with how fast they worked.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we are tremendously happy with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be as thorough as possible in your brief to create a better chance for what you want to be understood.

Brand Strategy & Design for Local Food Bank
“We feel like we're the most important client to them.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the director of marketing and communications at San Francisco Marin Food Bank.
What challenge were you trying to address with Sköna?
We're a non-profit with limited resources, so we needed a vendor that would help us with our brand strategy and work with our budget.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provide strategic brand counsel, helping us develop our brand identity. They’ve developed our website and continue to maintain it. They also produce our annual reports and collateral for our annual gala. When we have various events or campaigns, Sköna creates campaign microsites for us. In addition, they provide design services, such as redesigning our newsletter and creating infographics. We've had advertising campaigns in the community and Sköna has helped us with both the concept and the production.
How did you come to work with Sköna?
I joined the company after the relationship had already started.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in May 2014 and the relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've seen a huge jump in our web traffic after Sköna redesigned our website in 2016 and helped us create an ad campaign that extended across all of our channels. December is the most important month of giving for us and we’ve noticed that our traffic has been increasing about 60% year after year.
How did Sköna perform from a project management standpoint?
They're incredibly responsive. We have weekly check-ins with our account executive and our web strategist. They're great communicators and meet their deadlines.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We feel like we're the most important client to them. They bring their best talent to the project and pay a lot of attention to us. Also, they're willing to work with a non-profit, so it's like a gift in many ways.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not at all.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They're a great strategic partner, so they'll take care of everything for you.
Sköna’s new branding made a great impression both internally and with customers, who enjoy the state-of-the-art look and feel and the improved clarity of the company’s mission. They offer excellent customer service by thoroughly understanding business needs and working hard to meet tight deadlines.
