I’m the COO of OpenOcean, a venture capital firm that invests in early-stage software startups in Europe. There are about 14 people on our team.

What challenge were you trying to address with Sisu Digital?

We wanted to upgrade our website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They moved the website to WordPress in order to provide us a more reliable platform. Additionally, Sisu Digital upgraded the look and feel of our site. The team also improved our chatbox.

Our former marketing director knew them and engaged them in the project.

We worked with Sisu Digital from July–September 2020.

They delivered what they promised and communicated openly. The collaboration was an interactive process.

The project management went smoothly and we had no issues. We were able to track Sisu Digital's progress in each step of the development.

They had strong technical skills.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It was an insignificant thing, but their visual and creative could be stronger.

Have a good project plan and specifications; they will execute it for you.

I'm the co-founder and CEO at Entrepreneurs of Finland. We produce inspiring and useful entrepreneurship content for the audience in Finland and abroad.

In the beginning, I have tiny knowledge about web development and poor design skill. So I thought better to ask for expert help because the website is basically our main product as a media producer.

How did you select Sisu Digital and what were the deciding factors?

I worked with Daniel (founder of Sisu Digital) on some small marketing projects earlier, so I trust his expertise.

We use WordPress. Sisu Digital takes care of the whole process, we have an initial meeting to discuss the idea, and then execution was done 2 days after.

At that time I worked only with Daniel. It was very efficient, agile and fast.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Throughout all the time, the website has been running smoothly. We receive a lot of positive feedback from our audience how much they like the site. Entrepreneurs of Finland also appears in the first page of Google search for some key terms.

Worked together with Daniel from Sisu Digital for a website renewal project for a common customer. The goal was to update a rather large website to a more functional site with better structure and a more appealing look and feel.

This book became the bestselling business book in Finland that year.

I am a solo entrepreneur rebranding my leadership Coaching services. For this I needed a new website.

I wanted a website, which expresses my values and my service. a website I love.

I got to know Daniel through another small business owner in my network. She recommended him.

We met personally once to discuss the way to work and how to proceed. I sent the logo, photos I had purchased and wanted. I also told what sections I wanted. After this we communicated by e-mail or phone. It was always a pleasure to communicate with Daniel.

What was the team composition?

I am a solo entrepreneur.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Daniel did approach the project in a very professional way. In the beginning I, not being a professional, was a bit lost about how the process was going, but when I came on board, it was easy and flexible.

Very good

They listened, suggested solutions, and implemented the visual and structural issues we wanted.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We had some communication difficulties in the beginning since I did not understand the terminology he used correctly. However, we sorted that out and it went fluently.
