What was the scope of their involvement?
Singulart developed a couple of solutions for our needs, in the form of an application and web-based solution. I worked with their business analysts, who provided different solutions and approaches, and asked me exactly what we needed. They made us an offer listing the solutions that would best suit our needs, then helped describe the tech requirements and started developing what we agreed upon. They also worked on the design.
The backend was written in Node.js, and the app was made for Android and iOS. They made it possible to automate search processes and the preparation of lading bills.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a team of 10 people, and I had a main point of contact. The team included a project manager, two frontend developers, two backend developers, two mobile developers (one for Android and one for iOS), QA testers, business analysts who worked with me in the early stages, and a designer for UI/UX mockups.
How did you come to work with Singulart?
I searched my network, asking among colleagues who were involved in trucking and transportation, in order to find someone who could understand our needs. I came across Singulart and determined that they were a good fit for us, plus their price was 25% lower than the others.
How much have you invested with them?
A little above $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from the fall of 2018–January 2019.
