What were your goals for this project? 

Remote banking services are rapidly growing, so our goal this year is to expand our digital product functionality and improve our service availability. Considering SimbirSoft’s 18 years of experience in software development, we’re sure that they’ll help us meet our objectives.

SimbirSoft became acquainted with Societe General Group in 2017 when they developed mobile and web apps for Rusfinance Bank. Rusfinance Bank recommended them to us, and we started working with them in 2018.

At the moment, SimbirSoft is part of our backend team, focusing on our current mobile and internet banking developments. They provide Java developers who solve issues on a turnkey basis in addition to studying architectural concepts on data caching, asynchronous data transmission, and other decisions for product stabilization.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

SimbirSoft has proven to be a reliable partner with extensive experience. Before they came on board, we were only working with a single vendor and weren’t sure how we could scale our team. We were also concerned with how much time it would take to release features to the market, how to address growing business requirements, and how to accumulate expertise within the company.

Once SimbirSoft joined the project, they immediately suggested ways to organize our teams to both speed up development and considerably increase release outputs. Their team now continues to support our product’s backend, creating architecture solutions and infrastructure customizations using the latest frameworks. We wouldn’t have been able to do those things with our internal resources alone.

Typically, their team lead works closely with our leading experts. The lead then divvies the tasks to his developers and reports back with the results. Other times, we manage teams that consist of SimbirSoft’s experts as well as our other development partner’s resources. This allows for a great degree of flexibility depending on the project needs.

We had some difficulties in the early stages due to a lack of a technical systems description, but this was resolved. They’re results-oriented and they always delivered as expected and on time. They worked flexibly and transparently. Their enthusiastic style made them feel like an in-house team.

It is clear that they’re focused on effective, mutually beneficial cooperation and getting results for the product. Whatever the circumstances, we would always find a solution together.
