I am managing director of koolwal Impex LLP. We are engaged in Indian Ethnic Women Garments manufacturing since last 18+ years.

For what projects/services did your company hire Siddharth Infosys, and what were your goals?

We had lot of issues in managing our production as ethnic garment manufacturing is a complex process. We wanted a system to manage our production process from raw material procurement to dispatch. Also we were looking for expanding our retail network by creating a web frontend which can be connected with our production ERP system. We have hired Siddharth Infosys in year 2010 to develop a custom ERP application. We have been working with them for adding more features to our application since then.

We have worked with Siddharth infosys in past for some smaller solutions. We were really impressed with their ability to create complex solutions and support was excellent. Also we needed a vendor who is easy to communicate with and cost effective as well.

We wanted a system which includes planning and budgeting, raw material purchase, production planning, process planning, quality check, dispatch, production processes etc. We divided whole project in multiple modules like Budgeting, Procurement, Process Planning, Production, Sales, QC, Packing & Dispatch, Reporting. We have started the project in CodeIgniter and later we updated that to Laravel with MySQL database.

There was a team of 2 full time developers, 1 team leader and 1 designer. We have worked closely with team leader for regular updates.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The first solution was delivered to us within 18 months and since then we were working with them to add new modules or improving existing modules. The application enabled us to reduce our manpower by 60%. We were able to reduce our cost by at least 5-10% by better planning and budgeting the production process before actually going into production. Also We were able reduce production losses by better tracking the process.

They have used their in house project management application with their team and tasks added with timelines. We used that platform and phone for communications.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They never say no to anything. They never say no to anything. Whatever we ask, they always come up with some solution. Sometimes worked long days to make things live. Support was awesome.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I can't think anything for now. Some things took some time or not came as we expected but they were there to make the changes. So I am satisfied.

Punctuality, and the shear skill sets , across all facets of development has been great to experience. They have been exceptional, knowledgeable, and committed developers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Absolutely not, we can not fault them whatsoever. Siddharth Infosys has been an exceptional partner , and invaluable to our growth.
