Our eCommerce website was using the basic template on the BigCommerce platform. My team wanted to create a unique, branded, consumer focused website design that integrated on top of the existing BigCommerce website.

We were referred to Shugert Marketing and upon meeting and discussing the project, rate, and timeline for completion, Shugert Marketing was the perfect choice.

We had several design and development creative meetings to develop the new look, brand, and functionalities built into our eCommerce website. We were hosting and managing our orders on the BigCommerce platform and the team at Shugert Marketing was able to design a completely custom looking site, add some new functionality, make the site load speed blazing fast, all still integrated perfectly onto the BigCommerce platform.

The lead designer and lead developer were the main points of contact that managed the project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching the website, we've received so much great feedback and positive confirmation from customers on the look and feel of the website and the ease of the checkout process. Our website traffic bounce rate was reduced, and conversion rates increased as well.

The team used Trello and google docs to manage the project and even provided more content for the website than initially promised to help increase our SEO and user experience on each product page.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Shugert Marketing brought so many creative ideas to the project from the very beginning. They created a unique Brand image for us, and has provided support on maintenance and updates requests even after the project was complete. Very responsive in their communication, and top professionals throughout the entire process of the project.

They developed in a timely fashion, a marketing social media campaign during 2020 elections, Covid multimedia assets, covid data dashboards. Great quality and timeliness.

Management style is very hands-on, a well organized team where communication is key to the success of each project. At the beginning of the pandemic, we worked in an ever-changing environment due to the nature of the situation, where things were changing almost on a daily basis.
We scheduled weekly meetings where we shared the state of Covid in Pima County and they provided solutions or ideas for the emerging problem/issue of the day/week. Every deadline was met, in a handful of instances we changed the scope or we had to shift focus to another "urgent" project, and even under those circumstances they came through. Slack, WhatsApp, email, Teams, Zoom. they were very flexible in communicating with us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Definitely their ability to work while we slept or during weekends to be able to meet our demands when we required it due to staff shortages or urgent needs.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I wish we had budgeted more money to keep them engaged.

We needed a new section to let customers design their own gift box. Shugert Marketing developed this new section, with a great team work they gave us the best solution in budget.

We have 3 different gift box sizes. The new section must define automatically which size must be selected when customer add certain number of products.

They give us great support since the beginning of the project. They own the project trying to give always the best result.

New section for our existing website. This section gives customer complete freedom to choose de products they would like to add to their gift box. They developed it from scratch, using algorithms to let the system detect product sizes according to existing box sizes.
In 4 easy steps customer choose gift category, box and crinkle paper color, product catalogue and finally the text they want to include in their gift. They integrated this section to our Shopify website.

2-3 people involved in our project, always trying to give us the best solutions and feedback. We loved the communication was efficient via WhatsApp group, giving us faster feedbacks and status.

Sales have increased a lot since we launched the new section. Customers preferred this new section rather the pre curated gift boxes.

We spent $15,000 and they have a monthly fee of $2,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
This project started in 2016 and our engagement is ongoing. Though our work is paused because of what’s happening to our industry, we’ll be working again as soon as things are back to normal.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Because of their work, we proceeded to get jobs for over 100 venues in the US. we’re not doing too much right now since we’re paused, but we went from 0 to 100 venues. I’m very satisfied and they’ve done everything I ask them to. The business is pretty successful and we’ve received thousands and thousands of sales a year.
