Adderlink Infinity
Adder Link Infinity
Winner: Brand Film Festival 2019.
Adder is a long-established technology company, working with several prestigious clients. Adder wanted to take their sales and marketing initiatives online and commissioned Shoot You to develop an animation style for their brand. In order to meet Adder’s conference deadline, the storyboard was swiftly developed into animation, as per the client brief. The end result is a high-impact overview of Adder’s products and services.

Centres For Vocational Excellence
This challenging animation for the European Commission was part of a series to promote Centres for Vocational Excellence throughout Europe.
The project had to provide an overview of both the COVE philosophy without using a voice-over - just on-screen text.
Because of the sheer complexity of the project, animation had to be used to describe it.
We chose an isometric style you’ll see the animation is on a slant.
This meant the screen wasn’t crowded with information, even when the 3D on-screen text appears which is important if you’re looking at it on a mobile phone.

Honeywell VR500
Honeywell: VR500
A stunning product video showcasing the features and benefits of the VR5000. The promo was shot on location in Germany. We used the latest probe camera to explore the intricacies of the unit as well as deliver the amazing depth of field.

J.P Morgan: Oxford University
J.P Morgan: Oxford University
When two iconic institutions – Oxford University and J.P. Morgan – come together to undertake a groundbreaking bond transaction (the largest ever for a university) it makes sense to record this momentous occasion in a video.
Filming all key stakeholders using an interview format, we have been able to explain, inform and help both parties celebrate the success of Oxford University’s debut transaction.

Aggreko Brand Video
Bringing remote power to businesses and individuals is an essential service we take for granted. In this video, Aggreko wanted to explain the scale and scope of its projects, as well as the passion of its people to deliver expert, local knowledge. To achieve this, we filmed with actors and a full crew across the globe, including major cities and isolated communities, to film Aggreko’s services in action over a period of 6 weeks.

Ensighten: Cyberattack
Ensighten: Cyberattack
Ensighten wanted to highlight the issue of data theft, a major concern for corporations, putting their websites and customer information at risk. We created an animated story which illustrates how companies are vulnerable to cyberattacks when not protected by website marketing security – a service provided by Ensighten.

M&S Connected Security Strategy
Shoot You was asked to create a dynamic trailer for the launch of a flagship Connected Security Strategy for M&S. The film was meticulously scripted to visually demonstrate each part of the strategy before launching into production. Several locations were featured following the journey of a criminal as a command centre watched on, while blended animation illustrated the industry-leading surveillance technology being used to cut crime across the business. M&S entrusted Shoot You’s creative producers to come up with an engaging, non-corporate concept that excited hundreds of new people to apply to join M&S Security following the film’s launch.

Access City Award 2022
As part of our long standing relationship with the EU, Shoot You were once again commissioned to create a 2D animation to promote the Access City Award on behalf of the European Commission.
We have been producing content for the Access City Award every year since 2015.

FDI - “Be Proud of your Mouth”
The FDI approached us to create this fun and vibrant stop motion animation to promote World Oral Health Day. They were looking for a creative and dynamic approach to promote the multiple messages that were key to the campaign.
Animation was ultimately selected as the right medium, as it allowed us to bring together a disparate group of concepts and showcase them in a consistent way. It also allows for ease of translation so the end result could be shared internationally.

Video Production for PR Firm
"They bent over backwards to put things on schedule and ensure we had everything we needed."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a director at a PR firm, and my team focuses on the health care industry.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
We needed help in filming and producing a video.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Shoot You produced a video that raises awareness about attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). We found a patient that was to be our film’s subject, and we visited her house. Shoot You set up equipment on the location, and they filmed indoors and outdoors. Filming outside was more complicated due to the background noise.
After that, Shoot You edited the video and included subtitles. We had four cuts in the end, and we would be posting a video each on Youtube and Linkedin, while the remaining two will be used internally by the end client.
Shoot You shot a lot of content, and they trimmed it down to a one-minute video and a four-minute video. They also captured some B-roll. We wouldn’t have done that without their help.
What is the team composition?
On-site, we worked with a producer, a camera operator, and a sound specialist. Before that, we worked with their CEO. I was also often in touch with an editor.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
I worked with their managing director 15 years ago on a similar project. Because it was such a positive experience, I reached out to him through LinkedIn and talked about this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about £3,000 (approximately $4,100 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from September–October 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Shoot You was overwhelmingly brilliant. The film exceeded our expectations; it was stunning. Although the video had to be heavily cut, they spliced it together in a beautiful way.
In addition, the client was pleased with their work. The patient we filmed was delighted with the product as well, and she was really moved.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
Shoot You was exceptional at project management. They had always checked in with us, and they turned around everything quickly. They were proactive, and they followed up if I hadn’t responded to them.
Shoot You delivered the project on time — they bent over backwards to put things on schedule and ensure we had everything we needed. Although there was a lot of scope creep, they obliged us because they knew our time pressure was tight.
Additionally, Shoot You accommodated the small changes we’ve had to make during the end client’s review process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I didn’t expect them to help me with the editing; I thought it would fall on me to give me specific timestamps on where to cut. Instead, they provided an extra level of service, and they made recommendations on how to cut the film.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. They were excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have an open conversation at the start, so you have a shared vision for what you want to achieve.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the senior manager of global marketing communications at a luxury vehicles company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
We wanted to produce a video for several purposes, including educating our potential customers on the benefits of electric vehicles, promoting ours as one of the world’s leading electric vehicles, and finding new audiences for that particular vehicle, focusing specifically on female customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We worked very closely with Shoot You’s creative team to come up with proposals for our video. We wanted it to be animated for several reasons.
Firstly, we wanted to implement a different look and feel for this communication. Secondly, we wanted to share it on different key platforms, including our global social media channels and our global retailer network. Finally, we wanted to create content with a much longer shelf life, which can be achievable through animation as opposed to regular films.
This was a very collaborative process in which we worked with Shoot You and our communications agency. They came back with the final storyboard, which we approved, and set everything up to produce the video. It is a really good animation that tells the story of our vehicle’s environmental credentials, as well as our company’s innovative, zero-waste, and low-emissions manufacturing process.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 5–6 people from Shoot You. Their team included 3–4 creative people and animators, the producer, and Quint (Founder & Sales & Marketing Director).
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
I already knew some of the members of Shoot You, so I was very aware of their work and reputation. They were one of the leading animation companies in the UK, if not the world.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around £20,000 (approximately $28,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking about the project by the end of 2019, and we started working together at the start of 2020. Shoot You delivered the final video in March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Shoot You provided us with a very different type of content for our vehicle, which was what we were looking for. Additionally, they focused not only on the product but also on our entire business, which isn’t traditionally done in marketing.
They were very creative, and they delivered what we wanted and needed for our business, which was a very polished piece of work.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
Shoot You’s project management was superb. They were highly communicative, and they hit the deadlines and budgetary requirements. We communicated via email and phone calls, and we had face-to-face meetings as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Shoot You’s creativity and imagination were impressive. They also established a very collaborative process to work with our communications agency and us, which wasn’t easy.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. Their work was excellent.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Trust them, and trust that they’ll find the right creative solution for your project. Additionally, allow them to be creative and guide you as much as you guide them.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm head of studio and Creative at Moonpig.
For what projects/services did your company hire Shoot You?
We hired Shoot you to create a selection of videos for our new Letterbox range, and then again for videos highlighting the benefits of our app.
How did you select this vendor?
We were shown 4 companies by an agent who all pitched ideas to us. Shoot you were the stand out from the crowd by a long way.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We briefed them on what we had in mind for the videos. Shoot you then went away and created amazing concepts which they pitched perfectly as a team. This included fantastic storyboards, animations, and even sound solutions. They showed that we fully understood what we wanted and what would engage our customers.
For the second brief, they met with myself and our social team and we briefed them on getting customers to properly understand the benefits of our app. We asked a lot about the budget we had but they went above and beyond and pitched some animations which we loved. They were extremely good, fun, and very professional with each process.
What was the team composition?
Myself and two account directors here at Moonpig worked directly with the producer and video director. On the days of shooting they had a large amazing video crew who were all amazing.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still in the process of gathering all data as we're currently running Fathers Day assets. But the video for letterbox which sits on our website already has a large viewing rate and fully explains the wonders of our range.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had meetings twice a week during the design process. Each time we met they had developed forward by a massive amount and taken into consideration any feedback we had the previous time. What was amazing was they were so easy to contact when we needed them, they allowed me to ring them if I had any thoughts or doubts.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
What impressed me the most was the extreme talent from the team which leads to the amazing final products. We work with companies regularly but Shoot you have stood out from all of them and we will continue to work with them on any projects in the pipeline. They completely understood what we wanted and they came with ideas that really captured the heart of our brief.
It was always amazing to see and my colleagues were impressed after every meeting. The days of shooting were also brilliant. When we turned up they had sorted absolutely everything for us and took control of the entire operation, but also made sure we were a part of it too.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
I wouldn't change anything with Shoot you. They knew what they were doing, and we fully trusted them with every suggestion they gave to us.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a marketing and communications professional working with a series of clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
One of the companies I work for is a travel technology provider. I went to Shoot You to produce video animations on their behalf.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Shoot You produced a series of animations. One of those was meant to provide context for a new technology solution specific to the travel industry as well as to illustrate how it’d enable more seamless passenger journeys. It combined different elements of the travel landscape into one.
The animation was industry-specific and required the viewer to understand the dynamics of the travel industry, which Shoot You took the time to unfold. They explained a complex offer using a brand-compliant animation style.
Shoot You adopted a very strict style, which some companies could see as being quite limiting. They were able to use that and become more creative than we would’ve thought possible. They had to adhere to strict guidelines on colors, lines, and the way characters were represented. I wrote the scripts, and Shoot You did the animation and voiceovers in-house.
What is the team composition?
There were a couple of animators, a creative director in charge of the storyboard, and a dedicated producer. We worked with five people from Shoot You closely.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
I heard about them through word of mouth and looked at their previous work. They were approachable and demonstrated that they could meet the really strict brand rules of the client.
How much have you invested with them?
The total cost was around £25,000 (approximately $35,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Shoot You around June 2018. The relationship is ongoing, but we haven’t done any work since the start of COVID-19. The travel industry is pretty much frozen at the moment, so the requirement for product animations is not a top priority for the company. Shoot You is now an approved supplier for the client, which required an incredibly difficult process.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Shoot You was an excellent storyteller for this quite complex type of animation. The animations were extremely well-received at major industry events as well as being used on the web. The feedback has been excellent.
I mainly worked with the producer assigned to the job. She worked with me to understand a complex brief on an industry that’s quite technical. We had regular check-ins to ensure that everything was on point and gearing toward the message we needed to portray.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
Assigning us a producer from the start of the engagement worked really well. We had one central point of contact who handled all areas of the production. She built a knowledge of the client’s business and industry. The process was streamlined and smooth.
We were doing this for a big organization so there were multiple approval processes and hierarchies. We had to make some tweaks to the script, and the fact that Shoot You did all the work in-house made it super-fast.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The creative side is very clear. Shoot You has great creative directors, which transforms into great storytelling. They take the time to understand the brief and specifics of the industry, down to the product level, and they get that across perfectly in the animation videos.
Some companies are very rigid, and Shoot You was much more flexible in comparison. They made tweaks and enhanced things. Their team gave us their inputs and feedback on how to improve an idea or an aspect of the script.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything they could’ve done better. Shoot You was on time and within budget. They performed as expected, if not better.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Constructing a detailed brief is always good because everyone will know what to expect. Also, it’s important to make sure that costs are fixed, so clients should include eventualities like amendments into the budget.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am a freelance marketing and communications director. I pitch campaigns as they arise; my main client is an association of oral health professionals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
My client needed an animated video to celebrate their 170th anniversary and to promote oral health around the world.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, we provided a loose script and video clips. Then they made a few changes to the script and added a few sections. Once it was approved by my client, they created a timeline of my client’s history.
They produced a 2D animation that was a little more than three minutes long, but they also cut the final video into shorter segments so our client could use them on the different social media platforms. They posted the videos on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
What is the team composition?
Jordao (Producer) was my main point of contact, but I also worked with Charlotte (Head of Production) and a creative director at various times. There were others working in the background that I didn’t interact with directly.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
A while back, I saw some of their work and connected with Quint (MD/Sales & Marketing Director) on LinkedIn. When this project came up, I wanted to bring them in to work on it.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $15,000–$16,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from March–May 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were able to bring my client’s history to life. As a result, there have been 140,000 views on Facebook alone. I was really happy with their work and, since the project has ended, have collaborated with them on another project.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
Their communication was great. I worked with Jardao on a daily basis, but they were always accessible and returned my calls. They involved the right people when we needed to make key decisions or changes.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They worked hard to please their clients and create a positive working relationship. They were knowledgeable and passionate about their work but also were open to new ideas. They were quick to bring additional people in whenever I felt something was lacking or wanted different input.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They don’t need to improve anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
New clients might have ideas that they like, but they should be open to their suggestions and ideas. Shoot You sometimes presents new ideas for clients to consider that can be very valuable.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm the senior account director at a boutique branding agency. We do branding and marketing communications work primarily for the investment industry.
Our services include campaign planning, brand strategies, messaging strategy, and marketing strategy. We do a lot of creative concept development that can be delivered to marketing departments on a global scale. Like many others in this industry, we work globally.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
We have in-house capabilities for branding and messaging, but our we're limited when it comes to video. When we're unable to provide the highest quality of video, we use Shoot You as a partner to augment our own service.
What was the scope of their involvement?
After partnering with them for a shared client, I starting using them as an in-house resource or a partner resource. Whenever we have a client desiring very high-quality video services, I will send them to Shoot You.
We have an arrangement where if they are not working for us, we collaborate with them. For instance, our agency will be the lead creative for all the conceptual work, and Shoot You will support us on the execution and delivery.
What is the team composition?
We work with quite a few people. There are about 7–8 people that we've worked with on a number of projects. On the most recent project, there were three people assigned to the work, including two animators and a senior producer.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
They were introduced to us by one of our clients when they partnered us together on a project. We were very happy with how the partnership worked out. I can’t recommend them highly enough based on that experience, so we hired them.
How much have you invested in them?
It is around £5,000–£10,000 (approximately $6,800–$13,700 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them on this project starting in June 2019. That project was completed, and we've worked together on several projects since. The partnership is ongoing. I work with them all month, every month to a different degree depending on how busy they are.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I've received email after email from investor relations about stakeholders' delight regarding the video work. They have made my business look great. I usually receive a complimentary email about their work every fortnight. A senior producer who has been working with us received a promotion because of the quality of work.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
They've been great. A previous video producer had left the relationship in a poor state, but they rescued the project. We encourage flexibility, but they've exceeded our expectations for delivery timing. We don’t use any project management tools, but we communicate over email, Zoom, and Google Hangouts.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their customer service makes them stand out from other providers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I haven't encountered anything yet. I have no criticisms of them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Talk to them properly and don’t be prescriptive. They have a lot of ideas that will improve upon your briefs.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a creative consultancy.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
I worked with Shoot You on an event with one of my food and conceptual artists. An entertainment company wanted to have a Christmas event for an American health care company because of COVID. My artist had to create a cook-along video for making gingerbread houses.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The artist and I directed the creative aspects of the video because I’m a creative director and he’s an artist. However, Shoot You collaborated on the creative side of the video too. They supplied cameramen, equipment, lights, and other resources for production. Their team did all of the filming and editing. We did a live feed and cut a reel together. They’re updating my showreel, cutting a one-minute version.
What is the team composition?
I worked with about four people from Shoot You.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
Originally, I sought the right studio with the right kitchen facilities for this event. I also wanted not only a live feed but also a reel. I discussed that with Quint (Founder). As he was knowledgeable, I decided to use Shoot You as a production company.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between £3,000– £5,000 pounds (approximately $4,000–$6,800 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in December 2020, and they’re finishing the videos.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m completely satisfied with Shoot You. To do a live feed and film to cut a reel, they had to be on it, which their team was. They organized the production well. All of the technical aspects of the project have been absolutely brilliant. It’s easy and fun to work with them.
The client was happy and excited to have the artist in such a great studio space. The artist was also happy with the space and the Shoot You team.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
As the pre-production was well done, we didn’t have any surprises on the day of the shoot. The live feed proceeded without a hitch. We didn’t have any technical problems, which was important because we had a tight budget.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team’s engaging, and I’m looking forward to working with them again. They’re a nice team, and it was an easy shoot. It was a great experience, and everything went smoothly. Their team’s diligent and provides us with everything we need.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, it was a nice experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear in your brief and keep the communication transparent. We had a tight budget, which makes jobs harder. There wasn’t room for error, and our transparent and clear communication ensured we didn’t have errors.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the former art director for a B2B tech marketing company that did a range of marketing, design, and account management for our clients. In my role, I provided a lot of creative support, from rebranding to advertising.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
Our creative department had a lot of designers but no video specialists. We needed to find a third-party partner who could help produce our client’s animated videos — specifically explainer videos that could convey how their technology and networks worked.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Shoot You animated an explainer video for one of our clients. The animation would explain what an adaptive network is to viewers. We storyboarded everything in-house while they did the illustrations and actual animation work as well as the voice over work.
We had another similar project later in the year where they kept the first minute and a half the same before changing the endings. That allowed them to showcase different types of networks.
What is the team composition?
On this particular project, there were three people. Quint (Owner) oversaw it, Charlotte (Head of Production) was the account manager, and then there was an animator.
How did you come to work with Shoot You Video & Animation Production?
Our junior producer did a search of our local area and stumbled upon Shoot You Video & Animation Production. I remember being quite surprised that they were so close to us. So, we started them with an internal job to test out their skills and see their expertise. They did a really impressive, clean job, so we went with them.
How much have you invested with them?
It was around £6,000 (approximately $8,000 USD), but I wasn’t in charge of the financials, so this is a rough estimate.
What is the status of this engagement?
This project lasted from April–December 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They were good, particularly with their willingness to be transparent with their work. During the projects, they sent over a first pass of the animation to collect feedback and also invited us over to their offices to meet directly with the animator. It was useful to give that feedback straight away, and we could see the progress.
Quint was also massively friendly and generous with his time. He and his team were very personable, and I’d certainly work with them again. In fact, I’m trying to! They’ve given me a few quotes, but nothing’s gone through just yet.
How did Shoot You Video & Animation Production perform from a project management standpoint?
Charlotte was our account manager, so any work we did went through her. That was a good model to work with. If we had any specific questions, we could call the animator directly as well. That allowed us to work quickly and efficiently without wasting time.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a friendly bunch of people who produce high-quality animation.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing that I can think of.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d certainly recommend them. The team is really on the ball and has a lot of experienced people who do different things. That means they don’t need to outsource much of their work. They’re a one-stop-shop for your video animation needs.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing director at a healthcare marketing company. My position is mostly focused on awards for the company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
I was hoping to get some support with our overall video production efforts. I was working with our internal team, but they were more focused on client work rather than awards, so I looked to an outside partner.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We submit to a number of award shows throughout the year. With this particular project, we had Shoot You create four case study videos to be entered. There’s a written portion of each entry describing the objective along with key metrics, and we submitted the videos as visual accompaniments. The videos were all made with custom animation from the Shoot You team.
What is the team composition?
Constance (Producer) was my project manager, and I worked primarily with her throughout the project.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
Quint (Owner) reached out to me on LinkedIn mentioning they had video capabilities, and asked if I was interested. It came at a great time, because I had been working on the videos myself. I decided to check them out and was impressed with their website, so I set up a call.
I was connected with Matt (Head of Production) who asked questions about the process, costs, and overall scope.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together in October 2020. We finished all four videos in about three weeks.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We didn’t publish the videos or track their engagement — they were strictly for the award shows. The judges are still judging the entries, so I don’t have any insight into their effectiveness just yet. However, I’ve shared the videos internally and with the clients the work relates to, and they’ve given a lot of praise.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed really well. I give them all the praise in the world. From the initial intros all the way through the day-to-day working on the videos, they were excellent. Constance was a fantastic project manager; she answered my emails any hour of the day, and worked with me on weekends when necessary. She was very detail oriented and easy to work with.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’ve worked with other video production companies who can provide custom animation, but I always had to hold their hand throughout the process. With Shoot You, I was able to just give them links to some background material, and they did everything.
The team came back to me with a proposed storyboard, several voice over script options, and aesthetic proposals. They did everything. With just some background material, Shoot You spun together the story and knocked the creative out of the park.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I really enjoyed working with them, but there were a lot of moving pieces and I think having a project management tool would’ve made things easier. It wasn’t really painful — Shoot You is very organized — but it might be something to consider for the future.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
One thing that made the engagement so easy is that we gave them as much background information as they needed in order to have the freedom to put everything together on their own. That way, we didn’t waste any time.

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the marketing director of a computer IT company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Shoot You?
We just wanted a video that we could use in presentations to promote our IT troubleshooting service.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Shoot You provided a video for us that we could use in any format we wanted. We ended up putting it on our website and using it in some presentations as well.
We just told them what we wanted and explained our IT troubleshooting service, and they handled everything, including storyboarding, shooting, and editing.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two people from Shoot You.
How did you come to work with Shoot You?
I believe I did a Google search and then looked on their website and some of the stuff they’d done.
What is the status of this engagement?
It was probably around 2014, but I’m not sure.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Anyone who saw the video said they thought it was quite good.
How did Shoot You perform from a project management standpoint?
Shoot You was really good. They were proactive and hit all of the deadlines. The team kept in touch with us perfectly. We communicated via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication was noteworthy, as was their ability to understand what we wanted.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In my memory, I don’t think there was anything for them to improve on.
Any advice for potential customers?
The way it worked for us was having a face-to-face meeting, during which we explained what we wanted. As long as you know what you want and explain it to them, they’ll pick it up.
