Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are a repair solutions provider for clients who are looking to fix document verification-related issues. I’ve been with the company for more than three years and my role is a business analyst. I work closely with the development team to get requirements from our clients and build solutions.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seven Bits Technologies LLP?
Over the years, we have had a lot of solutions around document verification and have also had multiple applications. We needed someone to develop the front- and backend of these solutions, so we hired Seven Bits.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our company offers multi-chain solutions, which means that our clients are not just limited to one option. We also provide security through Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB). From time to time, Seven Bits has helped us create nodes that connect us to multiple blockchains. The team also works on our solutions on both the front- and backend.
They use .NET as the core development language, but other products of ours needed to be completely built in Python.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with a wide range of people from their team. There have been senior developers, front- and backend developers, and analysts. There is also a separate team working on our log book solution, since different groups of people are designated to work on each of our products.
How did you come to work with Seven Bits Technologies LLP?
We’ve had a long relationship with the Seven Bits team. They had worked on small projects for us before, so when the requirements came up for one of our applications, we knew, based on what they’ve done for us in the past, that we had to give them a chance. They’ve helped us create a sandbox area for blockchain, which eventually helped us become one of the first companies to offer these unique solutions, so we went with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $250,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Seven Bits has been involved for 4–5 years with my company, but we started the project when I joined in around March 2018. We are still working on the applications and are developing new projects.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We would always get detailed requirements about what exactly we need to develop for our clients, so we use that to measure against our project scope. We would also do detailed test cases to make sure that our entire solution is delivering what we want it to. These metrics give us more confidence in the impact of our product,
Some solutions are still in development, but those that we have built over the years we’ve found to be working completely well. Seven Bits meeting the older development goals has allowed us to gain revenue. Our clients have also been able to use our services without any issues, which helps us validate the quality of the work.
How did Seven Bits Technologies LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
Seven bits is good at meeting deadlines. We would follow two-week Scrum sprints and figure out how to achieve many hours of work for a certain project. There are no issues on that front as we would often complete 80%–100% of the work, which is more than what we expect.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They do a pretty good job at the managerial level, providing training for their people. They’ve always delivered on time and we haven’t had any problems with them so far.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Find out in great detail what your clients need you to build and have a really good picture of what you want Seven Bits to deliver. Ready the documentation as well as this is ideal in conveying the project requirements to their team. They have their own business analysis scheme and will surely advise you on any refinements that need to be made on the requirements.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the president of a web development company based in Boston. We design develop and manage websites for companies throughout the United States.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seven Bits Technologies LLP, and what were your goals?
I have worked with Seven Bits for many years on a wide range of Project, Including e-commerce sites, web design projects and website maintenance tasks. My goal was to get work done quickly and with high-quality.
How did you select Seven Bits Technologies LLP and what were the deciding factors?
I had an emergency on a site many years ago. Mahin jumped in and got it fixed overnight for me. Since then I have used his company for a wide range of projects.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We usually are working with WordPress, WooCommerce. Sometimes they will load products for me, other times they will build webpages. Usually we kick off with an email or a Skype. They then get back to me with time and costs and have never let me down.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I typically work with two or three people at a time. One person who manages the project as well as a couple of developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
They do a great job, loading products, building websites, or anything else I need.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
Their Project management style is excellent. I sent them a note and they take care of any issues very quickly and professionally. The team is always friendly and does wonderful work.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
There are a lot of companies in their space. But they have never let me down and always complete work quickly. Anytime there are any rare issues, they'll jump in and fix it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, after many years I can honestly say they are one of the best vendors I work with and hope to work with them for many more years.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO and founder of VeriDoc Global, a multi-blockchain solution company. We have a suite of APIs that link into any database that’s able to use it as a verification protocol for any sort of place. It could be a supply chain, document security, signature, etc. All our APIs are for blockchains. We work with both public and private blockchains.
What challenge were you trying to address with SevenBits Technologies LLP?
We needed help with development.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We use them for everything. They do all the hard stuff, including all the research that’s required. In 2015, in the blockchain industry, there wasn’t much information at all. Everything we learned was from research and reading information on blogs and forums. What they’ve developed is second to none. They had no competition.
They built applications for us. We did Bitcoin’s blockchain first. That was pretty much for anyone that had credibility back then. Once we recorded our first transaction, we had to get it to the mainnet phase. We then started bringing our blockchains to the testnet phase, which is the toughest part. Customers wanted to have a choice and, obviously, price is a big thing. That’s why we call ourselves a multi-chain solution. Clients can pick and choose what chain they want and we’ll see all the scope around that. SevenBits Technologies LLP built all of it.
They developed a web app from scratch with everything in it, including IT services. They also built APIs and products like HR solutions. They built a lot of different protocols around our platform to help us manage it better. We’ve got a full testnet area where anyone can log in and test a massive document on blockchain. All our functionality around it is huge.
It’s an ongoing project and will never be completed as there are always new things we want to bring into the product.
What is the team composition?
There are lots of people. My main point of contact is Sweety (CEO). She controls all the different teams. I mainly deal with Abhishek (CTO). He talks to the rest of the team and gets them going. There’s an app team, a development team, and a team that does the research. There’s also a payment flow team.
How did you come to work with SevenBits Technologies LLP?
In 2007, I was building a product and was looking for someone to help me. I put an ad on Upwork and I found Sweety’s husband. He’s a very talented man and probably in the top 100 in India in his field. He helped me build this product and he’s built probably over 1,500 websites. He was really into Bitcoin and blockchain way back in 2007. He did a lot of work for me. He went and built probably the biggest crypto exchange in India. He sold out now and he and Sweety started SevenBits Technologies LLP.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $1 million.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2015 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They got it done successfully. If you can do a successful transaction by creating a document or a flow or an event and executing it, that was the best thing. With us, we put a QR code on a document and scanned it and the original document comes from the database. That means they were successful. That’s how we measured them.
How did SevenBits Technologies LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
I do a scrum meeting with Sweety every Monday. I put a Skype out for the week and we try to achieve it for Saturday. They complete their work on time. We get good value for the money.
Sweety is very good. On Thursdays, she always checks the team to see how they’re doing and making sure they’ll be able to deliver to us by Saturday. Communication is perfect. We use WhatsApp and all the stakeholders are a part of that. We also use Trello and spreadsheets.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have determination, and they’re very passionate about what they do. If I were to build this in Australia, I’d probably still be trying to do it and it would have probably cost me $10-$15 million.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be sure you give them a clear and defined scope of what works for you.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the founder and CEO of 42 ANSWERS PTE LTD, based out of Singapore. Our startup focuses on machine learning, blockchain, and e-commerce solutions for product-based companies in the US, Australia, and Europe.
What challenge were you trying to address with SevenBits Technologies LLP?
We needed to bring on additional development resources.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We used their services to develop products and solutions for our clients. Basically, we designed the architecture and solution for their problem, and we hired developers from SevenBits who implemented those solutions.
Right now, our focus is on blockchain and eCommerce. One of our clients is building a document verification system, and SevenBits is providing services for them. The project uses interfaces with Ethereum and EOS blockchain. As far as e-commerce is concerned, most of the time we work on nopCommerce platform and mobile applications using Flutter.
What is the team composition?
I talk to the CEO and CTO on a daily basis, so it is all good.
How did you come to work with SevenBits Technologies LLP?
We are from the same area and I have known them for a long time. I’ve used their services on several projects in the past. When I started 42 ANSWERS, I again used their services to hire developers and a team for building solutions for my clients.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent around $50,000 to $60,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started on this project in December 2019, and we are still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We used their scrum team and development team, as well as the testing team. We don’t track specific metrics, other than how they perform with our team. We get a problem from our client and then we create a roadmap to solve that particular problem and find a solution.
Once we get approval from the client, we onboard the SevenBits team to build that solution. We have been pleased with the work they have been able to accomplish for us.
How did SevenBits Technologies LLP perform from a project management standpoint?
Their project management is very good. They keep evolving, and they have very recently implanted a very stringent scrum process which is good to know. They are also investing a good amount into automation testing and they have expanded to cloud security as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their communication and updates are pretty good. I always get timely updates. Even if something went wrong in the middle of the night, I’m able to get in touch with their main tech person and he takes care of it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I am happy with SevenBits.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Invest a good amount of time in planning first, as it will help. They also spend a good amount of time in planning, but it is better to spend time before giving them the requirements and get the plan from them.
Though some software are still in development, those completed by Seven Bits Technologies LLP are fully functional and without issues. Through the team's own business analysis scheme, they were able to refine the project requirements. They are organized and good at meeting deadlines.
