Dr. Dana Khuthaila is a New York City plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
The client had a substantial following on Instagram, but the organic engagement rate was low and the account was generating few inquiries from potential clients.
OBJECTIVE
Increase the number of followers and inquiries in order to scale the number of booked consultations and surgical procedures.

Total rebrand of the Instagram page look and features.
Highlights, designed to represent Dr. Dana’s brand identity.
Replacement of website link with a link to LinkTree in order to increase conversion rates, allowing the audience to book a consultation right from the Instagram page.

Diversified content strategy in order to build trust and confidence in the doctor's expertise.

Daily interactions with the followers in Stories in order to draw attention to the account and boost organic reach.

Several iterations of cleaning the account from inactive followers. Accounts that are not active on Instagram, haven’t interacted with doctor’s content for over 6 month were diluting organic reach.
THE RESULTS
Purging the account of inactive followers helped us increase the organic account reach by +1145% (from 56K to 708K).

Our new content strategy allowed us to increase the engagement rate by 6% (from 2.20% to 8.20%) in just 1 month.

Studio Esthetique is a cosmetic dermatology center with multiple locations and over three decades in the business. This is a highly competitive industry. The client has attempted Facebook ads on their own before, but was disappointed because the price per lead was more than the market average and exceeded google ad campaign costs.
OBJECTIVE
Promote cosmetic treatments with the objective to generate qualified leads.

We began working with the client’s team of web designers to prepare customized landing pages with appealing offers, before/after images, practice and team introduction, and social proof to boost conversion rates.

OM Juice Bar (Targeting)
CLIENT
OM Juice Bar is New York's newest completely organic cold-pressed juicery and plant based café. Established by Anastasia Kulinich in December 2019, OM secured a prime location right by Madison Square Park in Manhattan. Anastasia contacted The Setters Agency wanting to use Instagram, Facebook and Yelp to get her client base started. We used targeted ads on all three platforms to raise neighborhood awareness, successfully launch the juice bar and drive foot traffic at peak times.

Guided the setup of a landing page with a 10% discount offer for new customers and a menu.

Set up Facebook Pixel and Event codes on the website to track pageviews and leads for the purpose of retargeting.

Created campaigns targeting people who are frequently located within a 2 mile radius and are interested in healthy food and vegan and vegetarian options. These users will see an offer to visit OM's website and receive a 10% discount on their first order. Later, those users who visited the website were retargeted with an invitation to visit the bar and try out the daily specials
THE RESULTS
From November 2nd 2019 to February 18th 2020 we spent $ 1532.66 on Facebook / Instagram ads and $ 1373.33 on Yelp ads, with a total marketing budget of $ 3896 (including our agency fees).

The Facebook / Instagram campaign was run on a schedule featuring breakfast and lunch offers as well as regular all-day reached out to 155,423 locals who share a passion for a vegan and plant-based lifestyle. In total, the campaign generated 1488 website visits. Campaign optimization allowed us to reduce PPC from $ 1.26 to $ 0.84.

Veronika Jeanvie Haute Couture House was established in 2007 by Veronika Jeanvie a top European designer for bridal wear. The house is famous for its seductive chic and audacious mix of sophisticated retro, boheme and French charm. It was developed under the influence of the House mentor world-famous designer Paco Rabbane. Jeanvie came to The Setters Agency wanting to use Instagram and Facebook ads to sell their dresses. Average purchase price is €1500. The company has locations in Paris and Milan. Marketing budget is €500-650/monthly.
OUR SOLUTION
We created a landing page with a very attractive offer: an appointment with the designer for personalized fittings. Landing pages were launched in 4 languages (French and Italian – to attract local customers, English and Chinese – to attract high income tourists). We adapted all landing pages for mobile and desktop versions.

We set up Facebook Pixel and Event codes on all pages to catch leads and send them to the client’s email box.
•
We created campaigns targeting customers who are getting married soon and are searching for wedding dresses. Customers should have above average incomes.
THE RESULTS
From July 1st to November 12th we’ve spent €2134,56 on ads with a total marketing budget of €3934,56 (including agency fee).

The client had a large audience, however upon audit we have discovered that the newsletter system was somewhat fragmented with emails being sent from Client`s CRM, EDM and Ecommerce platform. Newsletter automations contained outdated information, some had duplicates which lead to high unsubscription rates and low open and click rates.
OBJECTIVE
Sales growth. Incorporating newsletters into the conversion pathway to increase customer`s lifetime value.
OUR SOLUTION
We have restructured the system of lead magnet sequences meant to attract a potential client and move them forward along the conversion path to motivate a purchase.

Updated the content of automated newsletters in order to avoid irritating the recipients with outdated prices and offers.

HEALBE is the startup behind the sensational GoBe - the world's only smart band that tracks calorie intake, body hydration, and stress levels automatically. No manual logging needed.
OBJECTIVE
Increase sales growth and brand awareness by collaborating with US based influencers.
DIFFICULTIES
Marketing strategy did not include a plan for working with influencers. Previously selected bloggers had low ER and poor quality audiences who were tired of influencer’s frequent substandard advertising. Price/quality disparity and failure to fulfill bloggers’ obligations lead to low ROI and what was perceived as a waste of the advertising budget.
OUR SOLUTION
Searched over 2.5k Instagram, 500+ Youtube and 500+ TikTok influencers with high engagement rate indicators and audience activity double-check (via tools and manually).

Developed an affiliate system for influencers - created a 10% and 20% discounts for the influencers’ followers who are potential buyers. To track sales we used individual coupon codes and UTM-links used by the influencer in their promo content.

OBJECTIVE
To increase sales by optimizing newsletter CTR (Click Through Rate).
DIFFICULTIES
The client had a large audience, but the Open Rate and CTR were low as the newsletters were not engaging and were only used periodically to announce sales. In addition, there were high shopping cart abandonment rates.
OUR SOLUTION
We changed the newsletter sender address from being the general company email, to a more personal email featuring the owner’s name and image in order to increase engagement.

I am the PR director for the Esthetic Centre and Arbat Esthetics. I manage the PR for both companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with The Setters Agency?
The Setters Agency takes care of our social media and digital marketing efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we first started working with them, they solely managed our primary doctor’s Instagram account. After working with them for a bit, we brought them on to manage the practice’s Instagram account too.
Since then, they’ve worked on Google Ads and PPC ads on Yandex, a Russian search engine. In addition to our PPC campaigns, they also run Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads. Recently, they started supporting our email marketing efforts for one of our businesses. They’re running targeted electronic direct mail (EDM) campaigns.
In the past, they worked on SEO for us, but we’ve discontinued it. Now we’re talking to them about starting a TikTok channel.

We have been working with them for over three years. We started in 2017 and we are still working with them.

Our head doctor has almost 300,000 followers on his Instagram account, and it’s all because of The Setters Agency. When we started working with them, we had 6,000 followers on one of our Instagram accounts, but now we have over 80,000 followers.
The most important thing is that they drive leads. Now Instagram is our main source of new patients. As a result of their work, the doctor is booked 5–6 months in advance.
How did The Setters Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
We use WhatsApp to communicate with Masha and Karina, but we also use Basecamp to set tasks and send reports. We are trying to push all communication to Basecamp, but it is a little hard for us to completely switch over to it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They drive sales. Unlike other companies we’ve worked with in the past, they’ve attracted real followers. Their efforts really work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Sometimes we need to ask them to do a task multiple times before they begin working on it. However, we could be better about logging targets and deadlines in Basecamp. They ask us to add information there, and when we don’t, it gets lost in the chat.
