I’m the CEO of a company that provides video-on-demand services using a subscription- and advertising-based business model.

What challenge were you trying to address with ServerIt.com?

We hired ServerIt for their development services. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

ServerIt is building our platform, which is a native mobile app that will be built on Android Studio. They’ve helped us with integrating AWS solutions. Everything is done remotely, though we’ve visited their offices 3–4 times during the development process.

The team uses a DevOps environment and follows the agile methodology. We’re also in discussion with them for cybersecurity; they’ve offered endpoint security solutions through another company since they don’t have their own security product.

What is the team composition?

We work with four developers and a project manager. 

How did you come to work with ServerIt.com?

We looked for development companies in India using Google, and we needed a huge team to work on this project. However, it was difficult to find a trustworthy and cost-effective team. We tried contacting many companies, but their budget proposals were too high — some of them even proposed a $1 million budget. Others quoted half a million dollars but asked 30% fee in support services every year. 

Eventually, we came across Clutch and found ServerIt. We communicated with them and found that they were based in Noida, India, where we also had a branch. I set up a meeting with them and started discussing the project. That was the start of our engagement. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2021, and the engagement is ongoing. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

ServerIt is transparent and consistent. They deliver whatever they promise ahead of time. In fact, they’ve promised to deliver the app by June 2022, but it’s already complete now. The app is already uploaded to the app stores, and we’re truly happy with it. It has allowed us to start our business operations and look for people to make movies. 

How did ServerIt.com perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management has been quite good. Their timelines have been excellent, though the budget can still be 10% lower. We use Basecamp for all communications and management. When we encounter any bugs or issues, they fix them within one business day. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

ServerIt’s transparency is impressive; they’re also always on time. They’ve outperformed our expectations and done an excellent job. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can charge lower costs. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Know that ServerIt’s communication is good, and they create bug-free apps.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CEO of the company. Rimage Solutions is a leading provider of custom web applications in Central Florida, specializing in web applications, software architecture, database development, SaaS products, content management systems and cloud hosting.

For what projects/services did your company hire Serverlt.com, and what were your goals?

We were looking at a few option for automating import of unstructured data files into either Azure or On-prem SQL database. This research and analysis was envisioned to be around 3 months and also included development of a proof of concept. We saw good reviews of ServerLT.com and approached them.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We found this team well-reviewed, well certified and experienced with they kind of project work we were looking for. We interviewed the team and they answered all our qualifying questions, and their proposal was very reasonable.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope, workflow and deliverables are confidential as it pertains proprietory and client owned processes, but I can share that this involved C#, SQL and MS Azure technologies.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

7 team members were engaged for this project, including project manager, architect, SQL developers and programmers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Their team delivered all items that were agreed to, on time and within budget. We have all the good things to say about this company - especially that they are a very professional and responsive team.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

MS Project, Excel and Emails were used.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Azure, C# and Database Knowledge and skills.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No complaints and no regrets.

I’m the principal of a technology firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Serverlt.com?

We needed to configure Azure VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) with a remote app for remote browser isolation that had custom routing. The goal was to create secure access to a web-based interface for a client of ours.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Serverlt.com helped us built a custom configuration for Azure VDI, and they provided us with consultation on the configuration capabilities. The software that we’re building has gone through serious testing and auditing, but they only helped us launch the pilot program. Overall, they provided us with consultation and implementation for the pilot around the Azure VDI remote app and custom routing.

What is the team composition?

Although I’m not entirely sure, I estimate that three people from Serverlt.com’s team were involved in the project.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested around $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together during August 2021. If the pilot goes well, we’ll probably reach out to them as we go into production.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our goal was to launch this environment within one week, and Serverlt.com achieved that goal.

How did Serverlt.com perform from a project management standpoint?

Serverlt.com was fantastic, and they performed superbly. Their team communicated on the progress throughout the entire project, and they were meeting our requirements the entire time we worked together. We communicated primarily via Zoom calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Serverlt.com was incredibly communicative and competitively priced, and they showed a deep bench of talent. All of this was a good combination.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if they improved their onboarding process for contracts. There was a little bit of confusion on the agreements.

We leveraged Serverlt.com’s expertise in Azure. If you’re looking for help in that environment, they’re excellent to work with, and I recommend them highly.
