We frequently collaborate with other agencies. This eCommerce project was a collaboration with High BandWidth of Dallas, TX. They have a great design team but they don't develop for Shopify, so we worked together to build this Amazing Shopify experience.
Seota handled all of the HTML, CSS, Liquid, and Shopify Development.

Xerox Augmented Reality Service - Custom WordPress
CareAR.com is an augmented reality software company that specializes in field service. CareAR hired a creative director during our design and development process and she put her unique thumbprint on the design and made what we thought was a great web design, even better.
The site uses video in banners and in content to show the power of the software and service applications. Great use of colors and fonts make this site stand out from all of the competitors.
The site was developed in WordPress & designed in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD.

We collaborated with Pocket Hercules, a Minneapolis advertising agency, on this fantastic web development project. We love working with Pocket Hercules on projects because they bring spectacular copy, photos, and videography to every client they engage with. This project is no different.

I’m the CEO of an online job marketplace that has to do with job description optimization. So we help get job postings optimized on Google. For example, if you're hiring a medical assistance to your doctor's office. If somebody just Google searches medical assistant jobs, it will pop up right away.

They did everything from the wireframes, to design, UX, and development for a WordPress site. It’s a fully-functioning job board that needed a custom build using PHP and CodeIgniter. To get started, we gave them some documents, PDFs, and thing slice that to give them an idea of how we wanted the platform to look.

Bill(CEO) is our main point of contact. We also worked with a project manager named Tim (COO), someone who was in charge of content, and one who was in charge of development.

We were looking for a team that was experienced with customized WordPress plugins. We also wanted them to be able to work with a whole suite of APIs. Specifically, Google Console API, and HubSpot. Searching for that, we found them online.

When we introduced features and ideas we wanted to implement, they already had those designs ready because they discovered it on their own. They use Google Suite, such as Google Docs and Sheets. We had a shared drive so we could collaborate and update things in real-time. They would pass that back to us as they finished them.
In regards to the timeline, I think we extended it by a week or two but that was significantly quicker than other vendors. We added several things to the scope during development, so that was really impressive.

What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a website that appeared high quality and user friendly while also being easily manageable. We didn't want a platform or design so complicated that maintaining it distracted our efforts to grow our business. The most successful outcome from the project is having a company website that we are proud of. It exceeds our expectations, and is far better than anything that we could have developed on our own. We receive positive comments from both competitors and customers.

The workflow was incredibly effective and timely. They finished the project on my timeline and could have completed it earlier if we had existing assets. It would be helpful for Seota to create a content checklist with ideal specs such as recommended image sizes. This could be given to a client at the start of a project so that they can not only get content - but get it in the right format for optimization. Lastly, I suggest a conference to walk clients through the admin tools of a new website just before launch. This will help clients to better help themselves with editing and content additions as our businesses progress.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CMO for Stafford Appraisals, a small firm that focuses on residential appraisals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seota Digital Marketing?
Stafford Appraisals had recently launched as a business, and we needed a website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Seota Digital Marketing built a WordPress website from scratch. They assisted with content and the launch. For the design, we submitted an intake form; four days later, they came back with a design based on elements we had sent them.

Seota Digital Marketing was very responsive and willing to do everything we wanted in a timely fashion. We actually launched about five days sooner than we had originally specified, so they kept the project moving. We had a couple of short phone calls, but most communication was via email.

Definitely do your research and know what you’re looking for, because that speeds up the process. That is true for any website build.
