I'm the VP of communications for a nonprofit organization.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seed Factory?
We engaged Seed Factory for rebranding services, including a new tagline, logo, messaging, and other collateral.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Seed Factory worked on several branding projects, interviewing our stakeholders to discuss our value proposition and specific challenges the organization faces in the process. They've helped us develop a new tagline, logo, messaging, videos, and other collateral.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked directly with Mark Sorensen (Partner and Creative Director, Seed Factory) and Angie Maddox (PR Director).
How did you come to work with Seed Factory?
We researched about a dozen local and national firms during our RFP process. We ultimately chose to work with Seed Factory, because we felt the most comfortable with their comprehensive plan to tackle our branding needs.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from December 2016–June 2017.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We have received a great deal of positive feedback from colleagues and stakeholders on the rebranding work Seed Factory developed. The new tagline they created communicates our messaging much more effectively.
How did Seed Factory perform from a project management standpoint?
Seed Factory's team was great to work with all around. They were proactive and flexible, allowing for the project to evolve as we needed to make changes. The interviews they conducted were very productive and valuable, bringing a lot of cohesiveness to our overall messaging.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They did not come in with a ready-made approach, instead applying their experience to create custom solutions for clients. They were also able to work within our budget while delivering a lot of value.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can't think of anything. We had a very collaborative relationship and we were very pleased with their work overall.

Be open to their creative input, feedback, and exploring new ideas with their team.

I'm the former head of marketing for a tech firm.
What challenge were you trying to address with Seed Factory?
We engaged Seed Factory to help us develop some print and digital ad campaign ideas.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Seed Factory developed a series of print and digital advertisements, provided photography services, and developed and sourced some of our store displays and packaging designs.
What is the team composition?
We worked with one main point of contact as well as a designer.
How did you come to work with Seed Factory?
A colleague of mine referred them to me. Compared to other vendors we considered, we were more impressed by their creativity, sense of humor, and culture.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them for about a year in three-month increments from around 2014–2016.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It's difficult to measure the impact of the majority of their work, but we were definitely very happy with the creatives they provided overall. They delivered high-quality designs in line with our brand and strategy.
How did Seed Factory perform from a project management standpoint?
They provided great customer service, and delivered on time and within budget. As a local company, we were able to meet with them in person a lot, but they were also very collaborative and accessible by phone and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their willingness to collaborate with us set them apart. They were very down to earth, didn't try to sell us on a bunch of services, and were focused on being a genuine partner. They were able to get a lot done quickly while providing unique creatives in the process.
Are there any areas they could improve?
As a smaller company, some of their work is outsourced so there's some room for improvement in the consistency of their deliverables.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear on the scope and expectations of deliverables, so problems don't surface later on in the engagement.

I’m the VP of Marketing at Decisely Insurance Services, a small employee healthcare brokerage/HR technology firm. I manage an internal marketing department that manages branding, marketing strategy, and content creation for our business and our client partners.
For what projects/services did your company hire Seed Factory?
We needed help to create promotional and educational videos for our white label product.
What were your goals for this project?
We want the videos to highlight product features and benefits. They should also provide a step-by-step on product features so clients become comfortable with our product platform.
How did you select this vendor?
I’ve worked with Seed Factory for several years. I like their approach as they aren't afraid to ask questions. We don't have a big budget but they provide big agency output at aggressive prices.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Seed Factory worked together with our copywriter to detail the project goals and create outlines. They would write scripts and then circulate them for approval. They brought in two cameras for the actual shoot, as well as a teleprompter. They spent two days filming with us. Then they edited the footage and provided us with both rough and final cuts.
What was the team composition?
We worked with a lead partner, a videographer, a video editor, and writers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
While we haven’t launched them yet, the videos will be an important part of our client engagement campaign. They’ll also be part of a larger user 'how to' portfolio.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their team is very good. Communication was open and honest from the start. They went beyond our expectations by adding features to ensure delivery of the best possible final product.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their adaptability was impressive. They could learn and pivot as needed. They had a sense of humor, and stood up for themselves and their ideas when important.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They’re a small company, which forces them to be agile and work hard to deliver. While a larger agency might be more strategic, the work would take longer, cost more, and my little company might get lost in the shuffle.

I am the head of Marketing and Public Relations for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides shelter for homeless & at risk animals, adoptions, hospital and TNVR services for the general public; operates independently from the Humane Society of the United States.

Our organization's website needed a massive overhaul. The last time the website was re-done was 5 years ago. We have grown tremendously since.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a new highly visual, modern look to re-vamp our brand which was user friendly across all devices and strategically organized.
How did you select SEED FACTORY?
I researched online and found a website that they designed that I really liked. After talking with Mark, I knew SEED was the right choice for my organization. He understood our needs and had great ideas.
Describe the project in detail.
Once we selected SEED they created a schedule for the project. After the schedule was created, we had a kick-off call, a few weeks after the call a "discovery" deck was created. I provided my feedback which then led to a "define" deliverables call. I provided my feedback which then led to the first presentation of wireframes. I provided my feedback which led to the presentation of the homepage design and a few key pages.
After those items were approved, development began and a dev site was shared. After the dev site was shared, I provided my feedback. Once the new site was in a good spot SEED trained my team on how to use the new site. After training was completed, SEED ran testing and launched our new site. After the site launched - they ran a few more tests to make sure it was perfect!
What was the team composition?
We had a director of design, copy writer, developer and direct interaction with Mark & Angie the owners. All team members were very knowledgeable, polite and a pleasure to work with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
All of our users and board members and donors were very impressed with the new site. They all exclaimed "they couldn't stop looking at it".

They were very easy to communicate with and they were always quick to respond and very detailed.

To create a high-impact, concise video that allowed a customer to tell how they chose to work with Central Logic, and the incredible value they got from working with us.
How did you select this vendor?
Based on the strength of their past work (which was viewed online), we asked them to make a proposal for doing something similar for us. And they were able to deliver on a very tight deadline; their flexibility was a big part of what sold us.

They helped with the video strategy, writing, and direction. They took care of all the site planning, filming, directing (with help from me), editing, and final production.
What was the team composition?
I worked with Mark on the pre-planning, and Mark & Caleb once onsite with the client.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our CEO said she almost wept when she first saw the finished video. She has shared it extensively with potential investors and prospects. Our sales team is using the video in all of their current sales pursuits, and we've promoted it on social channels as well.

We asked SEED FACTORY to create some digital marketing tools about an exhibition titled Wire & Wood: The Design of Iconic Guitars.
What were your goals for this project?
To use social media and our website to let people know about this exhibition in order to increase traffic to the museum.
How did you select this vendor?
We worked with them before some years ago! They came up with a killer stunt to help us get the word out about another exhibition. On their advice, we custom-printed rubber duckies and spread them around the neighborhood in the middle of the night to provoke interest in an exhibition about bathroom design. It did the job fabulously!

SEED FACTORY shot photographs of iconic guitars and made a great video. They art directed, shot the photos, built the video, did voice over — everything.
What was the team composition?
Mark, one of the founders of SEED FACTORY, worked with a photographer on this.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video was terrific! Our audience loved it and it garnered lots of attention. We met our attendance goals for the exhibition and even surpassed them. I'm sure having a highly-professional video helped with that.

Great! These guys are always terrific to work with. They told us what they needed to do their job and then did it. And, they helped keep us on track as well.

We hired SEED once we opened our 3rd location. We went to SEED to help us market in an area we were new in. They were helpful in giving us a social presence, improving our branding and grassroots marketing efforts.

We searched online for various companies that understood the boutique market and were most impressed with what SEED pitched us.

After our initial meeting SEED laid out certain audiences to go after. They were very specific and detailed even conducting interviews with current clients. They jumped on our social media very quickly and shot great short videos we could use all over. They also helped us launch a new apparel line.
