Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of digital marketing at Coforge, which is a mixed-service IT company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Search Value?
Ours is a digital business, so a lot of our leads are generated online. Search Value has been our longtime partner for SEO, which is a critical aspect of lead generation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our business is getting close to 15 years, and we rebranded in 2020. There was a lot of traffic coming to our original portal, and Search Value made sure that we didn’t lose any of it when we established a new brand and moved to a new domain. They haven’t made structural changes or contributed content to the site, but they’ve worked closely with us during the overhauls and redesign. The team has made sure that our structure remains consistent while being in-line with current times and the latest tools from Google.
Search Value has helped out with our social media and email marketing, but they work specifically as our SEO agency and run the SEO for our main website. A lot of our activity revolves around keywords, so when we started working with Search Value, they identified specific keywords based on the feedback we gave them and on the kinds of services we provide.
We’ve been working with them for a while now, so they understand our business. We’re specifically focused on insurance, banking, and travel, which Search Value conducted a competitive analysis of to make sure that we picked the right keywords. They’ve helped us create specific strategies to make sure we’re attracting relevant traffic.
What is the team composition?
We have one project manager working closely with us at any given time. A couple more people helped us out when we did the relaunch.
How did you come to work with Search Value?
They’ve been around since before I joined. I was told that procurement did an RFP a while back, and that’s how Search Value came into our radar.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost is $20,000–$25,000 per year, so the total could be at around $90,000. We have a bonus system for them for hitting targets.
What is the status of this engagement?
Search Value has been working with my company for at least three years. They probably started in the first quarter of that year. The collaboration is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The things we always fret about are our rankings for various keywords and the locations where our traffic is coming from. We’re currently interested in getting traffic from the US and Europe.
How did Search Value perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re a pretty good unit, and quite supportive. There are no red flags or issues to mention. They have good integrity, and they’re trustworthy people.
With the pandemic, 90% of the communication has been through Zoom calls, WhatsApp, email, and Google spreadsheets.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a personal touch to their service. Search Value is a mid-sized company, so we can talk to their CEO whenever we have an issue.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would tell the team to invest in some technology and to use some of the tools available in the market to provide better solutions for clients. As the client, it’s not my job to keep looking out for the latest on the SEO side of things. That’s why I’m using an agency. Adopting the latest tools will allow Search Value to upsell and put a higher value to what they offer.

They need to have an idea of what they need done before engaging Search Value.

For what projects/services did your company hire Search Value, and what were your goals?
Over the past many years, SEO was a pain. We were not able to crack it to generate relevant traffic and business leads from search engine. We hired Search Value for SEO services

Out of multiple vendors, we decided going ahead with Search Value based on their understanding of the IT industry, their clients, and the cost.

The scope of work included the SEO services to rank and generate organic traffic from USA, UK, Australia and, New Zealand. The project included various team members with different skill set.
The key deliverable were technical SEO and on Page SEO. They ran a campaign to acquire backlinks from various universities by offering scholarship for various courses.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We are wokring since last 3+ years and we have a dedicated account manager who deals with various team members at the backend. We know there are SEO architects, SEO execs, and SEO content writers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The quality of the technical SEO was awesome. Though it's subjective, however, the it was easy for our developer to understand and their manual validation process has drawn a great succes.

We used JIRA, Asana, and Trello for various tasks over the time. They communicate effeciently and are available on weekends too (as required).
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They knowledge of the IT industry and their knowledge of SEO

The Technology Advisor is a marketing consulting company focused on delivering digital marketing services to IT companies in the USA and Europe. I am working as the Group Marketing Director.
For what projects/services did your company hire Search Value, and what were your goals?
We were looking for SEO services specifically for IT companies. The challenge was that only a few SEO companies were able to understand the IT products and services. On top of it, delivering organic traffic and business leads was the ask of each of the clients we served.

Sachin the Director of the company holds a degree in technology from the top institutes of India. His understanding of the IT business was superb. We hired them for a pilot with one of our client's businesses which they executed well. We further handed them to most of our IT clients for their SEO requirements.

The scope of work included executing SEO campaigns to drive organic traffic and business leads to the IT companies (our clients). They started with the basics of keywords research and mapping including the technical aspect of SEO (technical SEO).
The campaigns were designed in phases targeting each of the products and services uniquely covering all the aspects of SEO. The executed SEO driven content strategy for most of the clients resulting in a great success

On each of the projects, there was a different team size. The team included an account manager, SEO leads, off-page experts, content writers, and developers

Quality of communication and written copy matters to us the most. The best thing I liked about the Search Value team is their deep understanding of the IT products and services.
Moreover, their results speak about their success. To share the numbers, they have grown the organic traffic to one of the client's websites (already getting 0.56 M organic traffic) by 100% and organic business leads by 143% in just 6 months.

Having an account manager for each of the clients made the process simple and easier. They use project management tools like Jira, Slack, and Asana for tracking the project timelines.
