Please describe your company and your position there.
Our discovery pipeline had slowed, and we needed to research new companies and contacts within our ideal client profile, reach out to them, and setup meetings to gauge their interest and familiarity with our company. We did not have the capacity to handle this work in-house and looked for companies that would provide the personalized attention to detail on our behalf.
For what projects/services did your company hire SalesAR?
We utilized SalesAR as our outsourced B2B sales outbound agency partner for 3 months to fill our discovery pipeline and setup meetings. They learned about our ideal client, researched companies and contacts fitting our target audience, reached out via email and phone, and setup meetings as if they worked for our company.
How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?
We considered multiple B2B sales outbound agencies and ultimately felt SalesAR fit our needs best. They are human-based, follow a process just like we would use if we had the bandwidth (emails, calls, voicemails), and could kick off work fast. It was important to us that they had experience working with companies within our industry, and they provided us a reference to speak with. We also liked that 25% of their clients are agencies.
Describe the project in detail and walk through their service package.
Upon contract signature, we were introduced to our SalesAR / SCORR team. They provided me with a questionnaire to explain our target audience and ideal customer profile in detail. I also completed a questionnaire to inform them about SCORR and our key benefits for why clients choose to work with us.
They provided me with an Excel file with a list of potential target companies for us to review, provide feedback, and them to clean up and research further to ensure they had the right audience. They provided a Word file with email copy they would use when reaching out to our target contacts. We reviewed, provided feedback, and they setup the emails in their system for use.
SalesAR also setup a domain name for them to use when emailing on our behalf as well and email addresses. We provided them with a calendar link for easy meeting scheduling, and they got moving quickly.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We primarily worked with two people on a day-to-day basis - Elena and Daria. There were a couple other people working on research in the background. Elena was our primary contact and account manager, and she was fantastic and a pleasure to work with!Daria was scheduling the meetings and was very attentive and on top of getting back to people quickly.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
SalesAR setup 38 appointments in total. The email open rate was 61-62% and the reply rate was from 8 to 12%. These leads are still making their way through our sales pipeline and were all well qualified up front.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I received emails from Daria on an ongoing basis when meetings were scheduled or questions needed answered that she needed help responding to. Elena would email 1-2 times per week and we met at least once per month to discuss the success of the campaign.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The team's responsiveness and overall customer service were greatly appreciated. Their success rate was high, and they truly operated like a real member of my company.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I would have liked SalesAR to work within our Hubspot system so all the communications were saved and the process was more clean and streamlined.
We were a bit uncomfortable with the start of the relationship because the contract was under another company name, and didn't mention SalesAR. They also required payment upfront, which we can understand, but I even had to show proof of payment before work could even kick off. It made our company a little nervous about what we just signed up for!

B2B Lead Generation for Digital Innovation Agency

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm Grady Andersen, the Founder at pavdy, a Digital Innovation agency that helps law firms, health clinics, Fintech, Legaltech, and Healthtech companies with outsourced and/or outstaffed marketing and software development.
For what projects/services did your company hire SalesAR, and what were your goals?
We hired SalesAR because we needed a faster, more efficient way to speak directly to decision makers in niche industries. The main idea is to have them help us generate quality leads and turn those leads into warm sales appointments.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I met the founders of SalesAR at a leadership conference for Digital Marketers. pavdy had just finished a very unsuccessful relationship with another Lead Generation agency and after a few meetings, I saw that the SalesAR team was confident in what they do and make the onboarding process very clear for me.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
Everything started with the discovery phase. It was very detailed and thorough. After going over my ideal customer profile and target buyer personas, we went into my agency's messaging, positioning, and unique selling points/competitive advantages.
There was also a lot of discussion about our case studies. Their copywriter took parts and pieces (mostly data) and drafted the first email campaigns. Once everything was set up and ready for launch, I reviewed the emails, gave my approval, and the campaigns started running.
From then to now, we have weekly status updates with the designated Account Manager and I have regular communication with the designated Sales Development Representative who keeps me in the loop where unique responses are needed.
Deliverables are connected to target contacts messaged on a monthly basis.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
As it is now, I have a dedicated team of specialists (Researcher, SDR, Copywriter, and Account Manager) but I only directly communicate with two of them; the Account Manager and the Sales Development Representative.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We're still working together and plan to continue for the foreseeable future. Outside of great customer service, I would say that the SalesAR team really knows how to find the right contacts in what I would consider niche businesses. Their team is performing pretty high providing me and my sales team an average weekly appointments set of 4 (+-16/month).
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow is great. They really know what they're doing and make it very easy for me from getting needed information to setting appointments and prepping me with lead backgrounds before the sales meetings.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive thing about SalesAR is their flexibility. They really understand how to build a service package that meets my needs. I'm also impressed with their reporting. It's always great to know your vendor/contractor is looking at the data and using it to adjust strategy.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
If there's an area for improvement it's on my side. In terms of material and/or information needed, I can slow down the workflow while they wait for the content they need. However, I've noticed they don't just sit, they remind me to provide them with what they need and when they don't have what they need, they improvise in other areas to keep up productivity.

Introduce your business and what you do there?
I'm the CEO of Diligent. We're a performance marketing agency that offers conversion rate optimization and PPC and Google Analytics services.
What challenge were you trying to address with SalesAR?
We were trying to lower our cost per lead.
What was the scope of their involvement?
SalesAR helped us with email marketing. Our in-house team supplied some of the copy, but SalesAR delivered the rest. After we approved the content, the team launched the campaign.
Afterward, SalesAR managed the campaign responses and provided reports to us.
What is the team composition?
We mainly interacted with two teammates throughout the project, but we also consulted with two other people.
How did you come to work with SalesAR?
SalesAR reached out to us, so we looked at their reviews on Clutch and decided they were the right fit. Their location was also convenient.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $11,000–$12,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from June–November 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
As a result of the campaign, we gained four new clients who signed on for year-long contracts with our company. Overall, the SalesAR team was highly professional.
How did SalesAR perform from a project management perspective?
They were available and responsive — they answered all of our questions and gave us a lot of support.
In addition, the team was timely when it came to reporting results. We communicated via email and had weekly calls every Friday.
What did you find most impressive about them?
SalesAR's email management was impressive — the team was always on top of our inbox and seemed to keep track of it 24-7. Furthermore, the team was flexible and understanding of our needs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could've put more of an emphasis on the copywriting aspect of the project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don't be afraid to ask questions. SalesAR is a knowledgeable team that is familiar with various industries.

Outside Sales Support for Pharmaceutical Company

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of Pharmaxi. We provide a full range of services in the clinical trials area to help companies perform clinical research.
What challenge were you trying to address with SalesAR?
Our goal was to generate qualified leads within the pharmaceutical industry, get in contact with these leads, and pitch our services to them. The main challenge was finding companies that would be interested in clinical research services. While there are many companies in the pharmaceutical industry, only a small percentage of them really need these services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We've tasked them with identifying relevant companies as well as the members of their respective teams who are involved in the decision-making process when selecting vendors for clinical research. We gave them briefing documents that explain the types of companies we're looking for. They qualify the leads internally and contact them acting as representatives of our company. The ultimate goal is to arrange face-to-face meetings via Zoom for me. They send emails to the qualified leads and schedule meetings with the ones that respond.
What is the team composition?
There are at least five people from SalesAR involved, including 1–2 lead generation specialists and a senior lead manager. They qualify the leads and transfer them to the digital team for email correspondence. I communicate directly with the project manager.
How did you come to work with SalesAR?
Their office is on the same floor as ours. We’d met them, and they told us that they generate leads for the B2B industry. We felt they'd be a good fit for us.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost so far is around €10,000 (approximately $12,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with SalesAR in March 2021. We signed a three-month contract to test their services, which expires in June. We’re discussing a one-month extension of that contract. It won’t be really productive in the summer, but we’re thinking about follow-up projects for September.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
SalesAR promised us at least 20 face-to-face meetings with relevant decision-makers, and we’re close to 40 now. Most of these calls have been with companies interested in clinical trial services. From personal experience, I know that it’s really difficult to identify proper companies and convince relevant persons to communicate about potential services. The complexity of this work is quite high. We offer niche services, and we work for big companies, so it’s not so simple to arrange these meetings. SalesAR has provided me with strong leads. I'm in contact with a lot of them now, trying to create relationships and progress closer to actual contracts.
How did SalesAR perform from a project management standpoint?
They've provided us weekly reports showing what was done and what the email response rate was. We communicate on a weekly basis via email and Zoom. They arrange regular meetings and ask us for feedback on a regular basis. Even if I’m really busy, they adapt to my calendar.
What did you find most impressive about them?
If I ask them to change something, they’re always responsive and they never tell me it’s out of scope. They always try to understand my feedback and adjust accordingly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They’re good in terms of operational activities, and I’m completely satisfied with their quality of work and communication. If I had to nitpick, though, I would ask that they provide more details about their internal search procedure for contacts. That’s the only area that’s not understandable for me. They did provide a big list to us, so maybe it’s my fault for not taking time to evaluate those contacts.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Identify your target audience clearly through what I call “exclusion and inclusion criteria”. The ultimate success of the project is dependent on their clear understanding of who our clients are.

The team we worked with included 5 people: (Account Manager, SDR, Content Manager and 2 Researchers)
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
We are realizing the difficulty of mailing to a larger company, SalesAR team began to work on texts that would stand out from others. We began to receive the first positive feedback from SalesAR team after several text corrections and changes in the ICP from their side. It took them almost 3 weeks to schedule the first calls for us.
As a result of 2 months and the processing of 2000 contacts, our team received 6 targeted calls from SalesAR team In general, we liked the accurate database gathered by the research team as well as SDRs effective communication with the prospects, which altogether brought us a few really productive calls.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We liked the communication between our teams. SalesAR’s account manager and SDRs who worked on our project responded to our requests within a few minutes. They were always ready to jump on the calls to discuss the progress of the project.

I’m the head of business development for an IT company.
What challenge were you trying to address with SalesAR?

What is the team composition?
I work directly with an account manager from their team.
How did you come to work with SalesAR?
I had trial projects with different companies to find the one that provided the best results.
Since SalesAR wasn’t the cheapest option, I chose another company at first. However, I wasn’t completely satisfied with their services. I decided to give SalesAR another try, and the results were much better. That’s why I decided to stick with them.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve spent $23,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working in February 2021, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The results have been so good that we’ve decided to expand our collaboration with them. We started with a thousand emails a month and we’re now sending three thousand. I’m very happy with their work. They always ask for feedback and adapt their way of working to improve. For these kinds of projects, it’s always a trial and error process. They do this very quickly, thus the good results.
How did SalesAR perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re good at their project management. They have a monthly milestone in terms of the number of clients, and they always complete it successfully and sometimes earlier than promised.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I appreciate that they’re direct and honest. They also have great availability and good communications.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them constant feedback. They’re very flexible, but they need constant feedback to provide their services in the best way possible.

I am a Business Development Manager at RPA Supervisor, a vendor by HFS this year, that delivers the leading automation management platform.
For what projects/services did your company hire SalesAR, and what were your goals?
We hired SalesAR for generating more leads from European countries and boost our sales process.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
The deciding factor for us was a pretty low cost for the amount of work SalesAR team agreed to deliver - 20 appointments from 3000 leads.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
We set a task to find for us companies from the Financial Services market of a 1000+ to 10 000+ employees size, only European countries. Also arrange sales calls with interested leads.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
5 - Sales development representative, account manager, 2 researches, content writer.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We got 20 qualified calls so far and keep on developing them in our sales pipe.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We set some trainings for the team in the very beginning because our services are very specific and sophisticated and in a very short time SDR managed to accustom and work absolutely independently. This is the most important criteria because we do not have time for the support.
