Basically, the theme of our WordPress page needed updating and since we were going to be engaged in a project, we felt it was a perfect time to update our logos and bring a new look to our market.

The President Eric got us started and then he transitioned our project to him team. Our main point of contact Kirby has been fantastic to work with so far and luckily, she coordinates everything with the rest of their team.

The project isn't complete yet so I can't say, but based on my previous experience I'm confident that everything will work out the way we were hoping.

Not sure what their style is but I know their approach and its ask and listen. One thing I have always appreciated about the company is they ask lots of questions. They want to understand what we do and need, and they are not afraid to ask questions in multiple ways to get answers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most impressive party of this company is the way they present their workflow through google docs. Before I started using Sachs my previous SEO/Web Development companies were never transparent about what they were doing. Sure, we would have great conversations about what was going on with my campaigns but there was always concern it wasn't getting done.

With Sachs, every single activity is tracked in Google docs workbook for my account, at any time I can log in and see what is being done, blogposts, back-end updates, directory updates. there is never a question with Sachs about what is being done at any given time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm sure there is something, no company is perfect I just can't think of challenge that wasn't handle easily, there hasn't been a change order that wasn't price more than fairly, and there hasn't been a tough conversation that wasn't worked

I'm the Director of Operations for a cooking school that takes guests from the United States, Canada, and Australia to a remote village in to learn how to cook traditional Italian meals with the grandmothers in the town.

Sachs Marketing Group was referred to us by a friend who also uses them for their own company's social media.

During our meeting, we discussed our target audience and how best to engage them (Facebook was ideal for our clientele). Then they created a schedule of when to post and ideas on how to interact more with guests (i.e. creating cooking videos). While we were in Italy, I worked with one of their Account Executives to post in real time and on the story during our classes.

We worked with an account executive for our project, and talked with the founder, Eric, to see our options about expanding into SEO projects.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We had 52.9% more people engaged in December 2022 than in November 2022. This was important as we are sold out for our 2023 dates, we want to make sure we are still engaging customers and pushing our cookbook more during the holidays.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Given the time difference, we communicated through email. We did not meet weekly as our schedules didn't align, but the team relationship worked really well. We had a shared dropbox where they could get pictures and videos, and if they had any questions about certain posts, we would answer them as quickly as we could via email.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed by their organization and creativity. Since we are sold out, we weren't sure there was any way to increase followers if we didn't have anything to provide, but their plan to create more of a community rather than just a business started to create a more loyal following and interaction with our customers.

No, we really appreciated their business and are looking at getting more help from them with our website and SEO.

One of our board members was using Sachs for their business and highly recommended them. Based on the good reviews that we heard, we decided to give them a try and we haven't looked back since. We are extremely satisfied with the high level of service that we continue to receive.

First, Sachs helped us update and secure our website. Then they helped us devise a strategy for SEO, and provide us with monthly reports with easy-to-understand statistics. In preparation for the airshow, they helped us with a digital ad campaign strategy, along with implementing an ad spend budget that would work for us. Google analytics, along with social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram help us extend our reach and increase our audience.

Sachs has an entire team of professionals, and we would consult with the appropriate expert as needed. Our account manager was always available to answer our needs.

The analytics that we see fluctuate, but there is always growth. We had a lul in the beginning due to the pandemic, but this year we expect that to change.

No issues with communication between us and Sachs. They always responded with a reasonable timeframe. Sometimes even after hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We are very pleased with their service and commitment to helping us put on the best airshow in southern California. We look forward to a very long and lasting relationship.

I own three different companies and more than 20 website, and have been in this business since AOL was the #1 search engine, so I know what I am looking for.

My main money making website which use to be #1 had been falling in the rankings, so I need a company that knows what they are doing to bring it back to the top.

What were your goals for this project?

The goals are very simple. We use to be #1 and slid to the bottom of page 1. I was looking for a company that not only could stop the slide but work at getting us back to the top.

How did you select this vendor?

Picking an SEO company is never easy. Let's face it anyone that owns an SEO company knows what to say, but the real question is can they deliver the ranking? Like I have said have talked with, and use many different SEO providers over the years but what truly sold me on Sacks was Eric (the owner) himself.

There is no BS with Eric, and I like that. I have been told I am too direct with people, but I have always said, that at least with me, you know exactly what you are getting. That is Eric to the "T". He will tell you what they can do as well as what may not be realistic.

There really isn't a lot to describe about the project. The simple fact is that we use to literally be #1 and over 10 years have slowly watched us slide down and down.

Of course I didn't just sit and watch that happen, I tried to work with my SEO provider at the time, but nothing improved, and over the 10 years worked with 4 other SEO companies prior to going to Sachs. What I obviously was looking for was someone to get us back to the top.

What was the team composition?

There were a number of team members working on our project from Sachs, and all have their strengths, but of course the most important person is your lead, the PM (Project Manager). Eric was always available for me, and I knew I could go to him if ever I needed, but honestly, with out project manager, there never was a reason to talk with Eric other than to just let him know how pleased I was.

Our PM was always on top of the project, if for any reason she didn't have the answer, she would get it and get right back to you. Never once did I have to ask her for anything, because 'dropping the ball" is not in this girls wheel house. I wasn't sure if I wanted to call her out by name, because I didn't want her work load to increase, but if you get the chance to work with Abigail, you will not only greatly appreciate her, but her effort will become a a new standard for your own company.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have been with Sachs for a little over a year, and specifically waited to write this review until I knew for sure that they were the real thing. What I mean is every SEO can do good things and you will see a spike but those generally level out. I saw a spike about 4 months into the campaign but wanted to wait to see where that went. Since that time, we have moved up another 3 spots on the first page of google.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Sachs sends out reports, and an online daily status, but those things really don't impress me as much as the hard numbers, but I really have no complaints, as there has never been a communication issue with Sachs.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The leadership on this team is amazing. Eric delivers what he says he will. Abigail is amazing, but the proof is in the pudding, and when you come in at #10 and a little over a year you are sitting at #4 that is pretty damn good!!!

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sure, there are always areas for improvement, like moving form #4 to #1, but from what I see, we will get there.

We started conservatively by allowing them to manage our social media platforms. We were fond of their professionalism and teamwork, so we slowly moved a lot of our budget from our traditional mediums of advertising to our social platforms—including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Their staff creates and posts the content when they see fit. Their team examines the data and advises us on the strategies for different sites. In coordination with their social media work, they’ve also made our website more search-friendly, which has involved the occasional overhaul of individual pages. Throughout our relationship, they’ve been able to put into simple terms what they need from us so that they can make us more visible and engaging online.

Sachs Marketing Group redid our website from the ground up so it's a brand new site. They put together a comprehensive marketing package, and took over our SEO and Google Ads. They develop content for our blog, as well as information on our site about services and products we offer. We’ve seen a big boost since working with them. We’re able to track all of our incoming calls. We also track the lead source for every new client or appointment that we set up. The phones are ringing and there's been significantly more online inquiries. I get compliments all the time on our new website.

How did Sachs Marketing Group perform from a project management standpoint?

I've been impressed with the way Sachs Marketing Group works. Everyone is helpful and has a good attitude. They work well as a team and everyone gets along. Our main form of communication is email. Regardless of how tiny my request might be, it gets treated with urgency. They send a monthly report on all their projects. There’s also a Google Drive account that I can log into and see what they've been doing on a day-to-day basis.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their transparency really stands out. I've worked with other ad agencies and marketing companies where I never knew what they were doing. With Sachs Marketing Group, I feel clued in down to the smallest details. That's a value add for us. I can essentially look over their shoulder and see exactly what they're doing, whether it’s developing content or expanding our web presence.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have nothing negative to say. I honestly haven't been frustrated by anything. Even when I was dealing with Eric directly and he was frequently out of town, his assistant would get back to me right away to see if there was something they could do to help me. I’ve been thoroughly impressed all the way around.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They know what they're doing, they're good at their craft, and they're good at dealing with customers. Don't hesitate to start working with them right away. Meet with them to get the vibe of their company and what they're all about. It seems like a fun place to work and, in my experience, it translates to a better result.
