RichestSoft created a cross-platform mobile app that users may use to help them organize their lives. They didn't do anything and even charged us in milestones without giving us anything. We were given access to the code at the time of deployment and were astounded by the code quality and standards when we reviewed it. It was merely a snafu with files that didn't have any comments to help me comprehend the modules.

We worked with RichestSoft from March 2021–January 2022. 

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Overall, I’m really pleased with RichestSoft’s work. The app has only gone live recently, so I don’t have any specific metrics about its performance. However, we will be tracking user experience feedback as we roll out new features — we want our users to have a five-star experience, from registration to completion. 

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

RichestSoft’s account manager helped us set up project timelines and development phases. The project manager was great and responded to emails within a day. Their team turned around initial app designs within a week of our partnership starting. They delivered on time — there was never a time where I was worried about delays. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

RichestSoft is quick to help us resolve any issues; RichestSoft’s team will step in and offer their expertise to help us navigate the mobile app industry.

I can’t think of anything for RichestSoft to improve. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Future customers should ensure their specifications are as detailed as possible; customers should have their wireframes built and copy and visual assets finalized. We didn’t provide that information, which affected the project timeline because we had to go back and forth with RichestSoft’s team several times to ensure deliverables were up to par.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We were looking for someone to build our mobile app.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re developing a mobile app for the Android and iOS platforms. The app is location-based and it tells users who is nearby and available. Features include video chat, voice messaging, and unlimited search functionality among others. 

They’ve also fixed a lot of the issues that our previous developers couldn’t, including the radius in which people are being shown. It’s supposed to be showing nearby users relative to the location, but the grid would also show people thousands of miles away.

Furthermore, while we’re still early in the development stage, we’re planning to work with them for our marketing needs.

I’ve only been in contact with a project manager, but he has a whole team working with him on this project. They put all my concerns in a spreadsheet where we can make comments, add screenshots, and notes — we also use that spreadsheet to respond and update task statuses.

We got in contact with RichestSoft when we found out that the previous company we were working with have been outsourcing this project to them.

This ongoing project started in August 2020.

While I don’t have any specific metrics to share at the moment, I’ve been receiving a lot of positive feedback from people that have tested it. I’m happy with the way it’s turning out and satisfied with RichestSoft’s work. They put a lot of effort into the development and they always do what I ask them to.

They consistently meet my expectation and bring my vision to life.

How did RichestSoft perform from a project management standpoint?

They always accomplish their deliverables in a timely manner. One time, they told me they would fix one of the app’s major bugs in two weeks, and they delivered it in two weeks.

We mainly use WhatsApp to communicate, but we’ve also used Slack and Zoom for meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Being nice people really makes a difference, and that’s one of their most impressive traits — they’re very professional and they actually care about this project. I also like that they’re very responsive and they’re able to communicate with us at all times. 

There was one instance when the project manager told me that they would be unavailable because there was going to be a big holiday in India. I just really appreciated the fact that they made me aware of what was going to happen.

Are there any areas they could improve?

While they have really good communication skills, sometimes words can be misinterpreted so I have to explain everything in greater detail — which is fine since I’m a very detail-oriented person. It can be a little confusing, but it’s not really a major issue.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They’re very honest and straightforward people, so I don’t think there are any warnings I need to give to anyone who’s interested in working with them. One thing I would say though, is you have to know exactly what you want and be very specific about your requirements. Otherwise, you might get charged with pieces that aren’t part of the scope.

Few days after the App and the Website was launched, we saw that people were very happy to see the new web platform and new Mobile App. Subscribtion is going on and we see new clients creating new accounts.

The project Manager was very easy to communicate with and provided frequent updated. We had too many calls, to clarify many things for best undestanding. All the feedback was via email and Skype.

We had the worst experience with their team. !! All started with designs, Initially, they designed an application from us and use to be very communicative from the start. Designs were acceptable and user-friendly. Designs got approved by us and then we moved towards the development stage. Which was the turning point for us.

They followed the worst code standards for the development and do not perform any sort of testing on units that when they integrate the modules, the whole structure breaks. Still, they have a chance to resolve it after the testing phase but nothing worked. Even the google play store rejects the application on submission and they refused to provide us support for which they charged us.

I’m the owner of UWe. We sell healthcare products of different categories like dental care, hair care, sexual performance and energy boosters, pain management, and constipation management. Additionally, we’ve been creating our own products.

What challenge were you trying to address with RichestSoft?

We were looking for mobile application developers. Initially, we wanted to launch a mobile app to give to the stores so that they didn’t need to go online to see our products. However, we brought in RichestSoft, and they suggested creating a website to increase our online presence as well.

What was the scope of their involvement?

RichestSoft created a brand-new Shopify website from scratch for us. It is a portal where we can sell our products and provide our customers with coupons and discounts. Our customers can purchase products directly on the site, or they can buy them in a store. We also have wholesalers that contact us through this site and place bulk orders.

For this development, RichestSoft used Laravel, and they designed everything from scratch, including the layout, color scheme, and appearance. Additionally, they provided us with content, and they designed our branding, packaging, and banners.

RichestSoft also developed a custom and hybrid mobile application currently available for Android. They used AWS servers and Cloudflare to keep things safe. It also supports bulk orders, and it has a tracking functionality.

We have employees who visit different stores to get the orders, so they can use the app to track the store location, and we can then check if the order was in fact placed from that store. If it was, we give the store owners discounts, and we assign that sale to the employee who tracked the order.

3–4 people from RichestSoft were involved in this project. One person designed the website and app for us, another person developed the app, and a third person developed the website. We also worked with a project coordinator.

We worked with them from mid-2019–March 2020. However, if we find bugs, we can let them know, and they’ll fix them.

The app developed by RichestSoft is very helpful because we can track our salespeople and see how much they’re generating in terms of sales. We can now see their performance for the whole day.

RichestSoft’s project management was good, as were their communication skills. We communicated with them via video conferences, where they made video demonstrations.

What did you find most impressive about them?

RichestSoft was very good at explaining everything. We went to them to build the app, and they came up with suggestions for the website as well.

They also helped us save money and time by using certain technologies; they were very good at choosing them. For example, we had been looking to develop a native app, but they convinced us to go for a hybrid app. Now, we might be launching an iOS version of the app as well.

RichestSoft is a good team to work with. You can communicate with them any time, whether you want to schedule a call or just call them when needed, and they will answer you. That is the best part of working with them.

I was in the process of building a custom website that included WooCommerce, memberships, subscriptions, custom post types, and more. There were several specific needs of the client that could only be done through custom code work including but not limited to PHP.

I sent an initial scope of work document of items to be completed. These items were completed within the requested time, but I realized there were other items to add to the scope. I have continued testing the website and have found no errors in any of the custom work that was set up.

We used the messaging feature in Upwork to communicate back and forth. Both text and screenshots were used on both sides to help explain. Communication was quick and clear.

There was one task at the end that could not be completed, but this was because of a limitation of the hosting and website, not because of skills and knowledge on the part of Jatinder.
