Scaling up a DTC sustainable tech brand
We were tasked with creating an effective, scalable SEO strategy to generate new enquiries & sales for Vanish backed scale-up Oxwash. Secondary objectives of building brand awareness were set and reached by growing digital PR and do-follow links to build trust and credibility amongst B2C and B2B audiences who may not be aware of the Oxwash brand yet to convert more first-time site visitors.
Audit & strategy phases
We suggested undertaking an ongoing SEO campaign which started by optimising key pages on the Oxwash website, using an in depth audit as a basis to understand current site performance and to make sure site structure is working as well as it couold before moving onto creating new landing pages specific to national and local SEO objectives.
Before jumping into creating the new SEO strategy, we analysed competitors and existing site performance to build a detailed picture of where the Oxwash site was performing well and where improvements could be made to improve search visibility and other key search metrics including pages / sessions.
Once we had built a strategy, we optimised key pages including home page, about pages, use case pages and specific location/service pages to target relevant, intent focused search terms people are using to search for laundry services. We also improved site performance and speed to keep up with Core Web Vitals updates from Google.
Targeted link outreach has been started alongside digital PR to raise awareness of the brand amongst key target markets including decision makers in key B2B (hospitality/hotels etc) markets. We have gained links from authoritative sources in relevant niches to build the sites authority and referral traffic.

Content creation for leading fashion brand Zalando
Project overview
Working with Europe’s leading fashion online platform with over 28 million active customers and €5.4B yearly revenues has been exciting, inspiring and fun.
We worked with their talent acquisition team to create a PowerPoint presentation to be used for internal hires – the design needed to attract the best talent from across Europe to relocate to Berlin and take up exciting roles within the company.
Creating an impactful document to engage candidates
Despite being founded in 2008, Zalando has grown to become a huge brand in Europe. They have established a clear brand identity and so we needed to stick with this – however we pushed the brand further by using logo elements as image placeholders and style elements to add a designer touch.
We were tasked with creating a template that could easily be changed for each job role. The main elements of the document are static with interchangeable elements and themes which can be tweaked for different job functions. The template pages for the job role are fully customisable and easy to edit with Google Slides and PowerPoint.
An impactful design used for all internal roles
The Talent Acquisition team at Zalando are really pleased with the final design and are using the template to recruit all of their internal roles. This along with other recruitment documents designed by Reward have created a consistent image that represents the brand in the best light to potential candidates.

Branding & Identity for a food delivery brand
Project overview
Zested came to us pre-launch needing a clear brand strategy & a visual identity to help communicate it through different digital and offline channels.
Zested was entering into an already busy market with big players including meal box brands Mindful Chef and Gousto as well as produce brands like Abel & Cole. We needed to create a clear positioning strategy before developing a consistent messaging & tone.
Sustainable brand strategy & brand identity design
We carried out extensive research into the market to craft a detailed brand strategy that aligned the brand’s objectives with those of their target customer. We positioned the brand as a sustainable choice for UK based time-poor professionals, focusing on the language and messaging to create a brand for the conscious consumer.
The brand tagline “conscious eating delivered to your doorstep” was created as a one-liner to communicate the brand value and proposition.
The earthy colours and imagery were used to create a consistent brand identity for Zested to tie together the brand strategy and communicate it visually. The brand stands out in the market by using earth tones with a pop of bright in their marketing materials.
We created a selection of brand assets including unique line icons, stationery designs, box inserts, packaging and social media image templates.
A strong identity and strategy setting the brand up for success
The founding team at Zested are really happy with the strategy and identity we’ve developed for them. The brand is planning to launch in the coming months armed with a well researched and designed plan alongside strong visual assets for all of their communication channels.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager of a jigsaw puzzles & board games company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Reward Agency?
We were looking for a partner to help with SEO, PPC, and digital marketing.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They are our social media marketing agency, and they manage our social media and website, along with SEO and PPC. We gave them access to our backend, and provided competitor information, including social media profiles.
They did a thorough analysis of each social media platform, as well as our website, then put together a strategy. We collaborated with them, and they’ve begun implementing the agreed-upon strategy. Additionally, they’ve made a lot of changes to our Shopify website to increase ranking, such as adding keyword search terms, writing blogs with links, and more.
They suggested a lot of manual upgrades at first and then moved on to advertisements. They also looked through our product catalog of over 400 products and worked out a timeline of when to promote certain things. They created content for Instagram, which they post on 3–4 times per week.
Moreover, they launched TikTok for our company. They identify our audience and suggested the best ways to reach the growing interest in jigsaw puzzles among younger audiences. While customer service is not the focus of their work, we split commenting and responding on social media 50/50. They also advised us on our Amazon product pages regarding the best copy for bullet points and how to improve our visibility.
What is the team composition?
We work with Mitchell (Managing Director) and their social media executive.
How did you come to work with Reward Agency?
They have excellent credentials and similar values as we do, such as sustainability and the support of the LGBTQ+ community. They also have expertise in technical elements.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $10,000. We spend $3,000 a month including retainer and ad spend.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together around April 2021, and our partnership is still ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our social media following has grown, reaching 238% more accounts in the past month than it previously had. We’ve also seen our Instagram engagement increase by 62%. Our conversion cost on Google ads is $.15, which is crazy good.
How did Reward Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re brilliant. Mitchell is extremely responsive and quick to reply when we reach out. They are well organized and have exceeded our expectations in delivering on their promises. We communicate primarily via email, and occasionally via WhatsApp — we use Google Docs as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They don’t over-promise and they always deliver. We’ve not been disappointed with this team, unlike our experiences with other agencies failing to deliver.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have anything they need to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Go for it. As a smaller company, they are flexible and react quickly.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the MD of a Social Media Marketing Agency, Relentless. Our business if focussed on helping hospitality and retail/ecommerce client amplify their marketing efforts through great content and social media comms.
For what projects/services did your company hire Reward Agency?
Relentless was a complete startup - and contacting Reward was from day 1 and having initial discussions about how to set up a brand which could be established. As it was just myself running the business and setting up the brand, it has to represent what I was about whilst being something which could be used in various application methods as the business grew/grows.
The Relentless model is to use partners such as design, web, photo, video etc. and so there was nothing really at my disposal in terms of design - I was relying on Reward completely for the execution and to guide me through the project.
What were your goals for this project?
Less the tangible and more the image and feeling from a brand. I knew there was an expectation from market that now I'd decided to set up my own business, the Relentless proposition needed to be slick, clean and appealing in terms of brand and appearance.
How did you select Reward Agency?
I was connected with Mitchel through LinkedIn - I needed an agency and support from someone who wasn't afraid to tell me my ideas were great if the feeling was the opposite.
This was 110% achieved with Mitchel and he coached me through the project. Organisation was 100% the deciding factor - from start to finish the forms, Google docs and forms and inspiration seeking tools to give Mitchel an understanding of what I was looking to achieve and what was aspirational to me were spot on.
Describe the project in detail.
After a few interactions in terms of my expectation of how the brand would look and completing the relevant forms in terms of how I imagined the brand and what could be done to realise this, it was a quick turnaround. Some very minor tweaks and everything was good to go — We were very impressed.
What was the team composition?
This was myself as the founder of the business, working directly with Mitchel. The two of us working on this project remained the same throughout.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
This is very intangible but I receive comments and feedback almost each week from prospects, clients and friends who say the brand looks slick and clean. I love this about what has been achieved.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was incredibly slick in terms of both communication and end product.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Mitchel's attention to detail and can do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble from the very beginning.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not at all. As Relentless grows I'm sure they'll be extra stuff we can work on. I really hope so. It would be great to work with Mitchel again.
