I am the cofounder at a software company and was a company executive until january of 2021.
For what projects/services did your company hire Revox, and what were your goals?
Revox handled our entire UI/UX development to the entire fullstack development of our software and even dev ops. Our goals were to come up with a good minimum viable product that we can show off to the market for additional resources.
How did you select Revox and what were the deciding factors?
Revox made the admin framework that we were using, Pages, and when contacted they offered their services. We were so happy that the team behind our entire framework was able to complete this product for us.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a kick-off meetings than followup meetings at least once a week discussing our overall marco and micro scale goals on the design, technical, and business side of our company. We have elected to use MEAN stack along with AWS, Cloudflare, Atlassian (Bitbucket, Jira, etc.), and Aliyun for the main technologies for this project. We completed our MVP in september of last year.
How many people from Revox's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
From what I remember, I worked with 3 or 4 people directly from the team at meetings but I know there were additional developers. I talked with Malith, Pasindu, and John the most often.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have completed our MVP last year and due to this was able to raise a pre seed funding which exceeded the cost of the project.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
They provided us with a client dashboard but aside from the dashboard, I received access to their click up workspace and jira workspace which added a heightened level of confidence in the organizational structure of the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their portfolio is highly unique and their office and team is quite amazing! They are responsive, responsible, and friendly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I would have like to have provided the team with more time to see what they are able to deliver without a tight deadline.
