I am the owner, web developer, and executive producer at a web development and IT support company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Revive Logic, and what were your goals?
I needed help creating import templates in WP All Import so that we could import recipes from several databases. It was complicated because we were using exports from a MySQL database from an existing website that had to be manipulated for import into the development site we are building.
Matt provided the expertise in ACF and WP All Import that I didn't have.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I found him on UpWork after reviewing 12 applicants for the job. His response stood out to me because, rather than sell me on his past work, he replied to my outline of the problem in such a way that I knew he had the expertise and the personality that would fit my company.
His manner was professional, concise, and knowledgeable. Another big deciding factor was that he was willing to train me to do the work.

We had several meetings over a period of weeks during which Matt guided me through several steps of buying additional WP plugins as well as formatting spreadsheets to perfection.
The final goal was exporting 300 recipes and photos from an existing site and importing them into the new WordPress site we are building. Matt even helped customize the backend of the development site to include additional necessary columns for the recipe index.

Matt was the only one from his team who worked with me.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Well, the best part is that all 300 recipes were imported and are now safely ensconced in the new site awaiting our team's styling and launching.

Matt is very fast and diligent, often doing extra tasks that I don't even know are necessary. We used the UpWork platform to message each other as well as do Zoom calls for meetings. He always tells me how long he thinks projects will take and stays within the budget and timeline.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I am most impressed with Matt's vast experience with so many different kinds of software and web builders. I was ESPECIALLY appreciative that, even though the way I wanted to do the project was not the most efficient, it was the way I knew how to manage the project for my client, and he was willing to work within those constraints.
He always treated me with the greatest respect. He always responded within record time and made me feel like one of his most important clients. I look forward to working with Matt on all my future projects.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president and CEO of four companies and the managing director of another firm. The four companies are CONAG International, Main Street Community Partners, SIP Community Homes, and Milcom Services. Main Street Community partner is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, while SIP Community Homes is a home-building construction company. Milcom Services is a government contract manufacturer. The fifth company is called Target Market Development, which works on joint-venture development projects specific to the housing and manufacturing industries.
What challenge were you trying to address with Revive Logic?
I use Revive Logic for all of my companies. Revive Logic has done preliminary work on Milcom Services, but they’re still working on SIP Community Homes. They’re also creating a website for CONAG International.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Revive Logic has provided web design and digital marketing services for my companies. Since Milcom Services is a government contractor, the Revive Logic team has also handled the management inroads into all government agencies, such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). They do that through their network and digital marketing. They’ve also done almost the same amount of work for all of my other companies, though they approach them from a different perspective.
At the moment, we’re planning to do another development project in North Carolina. We’ll be laying out the parameters of what we need to do, though we don’t own the project yet.
What is the team composition?
Our main contact person is Matthew (Owner & Founder). I set my requirements and get results back through him.
How did you come to work with Revive Logic?
Revive Logic was referred to me by other clients they’d worked with before. I hired them because of their graphic and marketing skills. They were also a young team, and they introduced me to many new things. Their integrated marketing, web design, and consulting services also truly attracted me.
On top of that, the team was open to discussions while being down to earth. I’d dealt with other companies that were hard-nosed and always told me how to do things and what I should accept. Meanwhile, I worked in a team environment, and I expected that kind of work from Revive Logic; they accommodated that, so I hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $10,000 in their services. We expect to invest another $7,000–$9,000 for another development project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Revive Logic around January 2016, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Nobody works for me unless they do exactly what I lay out. I take suggestions, and I’m open to listening, but they should achieve the parameters that I give them. Given that, Revive Logic never tells me the work is difficult; they only bring results on time.
Consequently, I absolutely have no reason to look for anybody else knocking at my door. Trust me: my office door is always open — I get at least two business solicitations per week from companies who want to provide their services to me. Overall, Revive Logic does good work; they’re reliable, and they work for me 24/7. Even though I don’t know what technologies or platforms they use, I’m truly satisfied with their work.
How did Revive Logic perform from a project management standpoint?
Revive Logic’s performance is 100% excellent, and their customer service is great. If I need to, I can call Matthew at 3 o’clock in the morning and get him out of bed because of a business situation. That’s how we work.
We usually communicate through text and by email. When I need something in a hurry, I pick up the phone and call Matthew. He always answers the phone because if he doesn’t, I’ll come over to see him personally and resolve the issue. Other than texts and phone calls, we usually talk in person either in his office or mine.
I also like that they’re in our neighborhood. I can drive over to their office or vice versa within 20 minutes. Other companies work remotely, and when I get calls from them, I have to adjust for the time zone differences. That doesn’t work for me so I require my vendor to be local; Revive Logic meets that requirement. Overall, they’re a good company of young people who go above and beyond in terms of what they offer.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The Revive Logic team is personable and communicative — they listen to me. On top of that, if I give them something to do and they tell me it’s impossible, I take that and ask them to give me a solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. They deliver my project and product to my specifications. If I’m asked what they can do better, I say that it’s not my call. I check the quality of their work, and I can’t recall having to tell them to do anything better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
For potential customers, I’ll put a sign on my front door and say that Revive Logic does all of my work — call them.

I’m the founding partner of a handyman company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Revive Logic?
My business was entirely word-of mouth. There are not always enough word-of-mouth jobs to fill the schedule. I reached out to Matt (Owner) for help with SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Revive Logic takes care of my digital marketing. First, we had an initial consultation where they asked a bunch of questions and asked where I was, what I did, and what I needed.
After a couple of days, Matt got back to me with an outline of the website, which I approved. Another few days after that, he had the rough draft of the website up and running. Matt also encouraged me to get a professionally made logo.
Next, Matt got started with SEO. He set out some links on Google to follow-up with clients.

I work with Matt and one other person.
How did you come to work with Revive Logic?
I found them through an app on Craigslist for affordable SEO. It seemed like a no-brainer to work with them. It felt like they knew what they were talking about.

Matt is phenomenal. He responds to my texts within an hour at most. He’s been constantly on top of the ball. We occasionally communicate via email and phone as well.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The speed in which Matt got me leads was most impressive. He undersold how quickly he could get it all done. It literally took 10 days for the first lead to come in, maybe less.

No, nothing comes to mind.

Revive has helped us with a variety of website issues from strategic design, digital marketing, google analytics refinements, e-commerce enhancements, and custom optimization. Our goal continues to be enhancing the online experience and selling more tea.

I found Revive through a referral. Someone had used Revive for a complicated video subscription migration and was very pleased with the overall experience. Revive came highly recommended to me.

The work is ongoing and has ranged from strategic decisions on plug-ins and other vendor options (Yoast v Rank Math) to custom WordPress work on follow-up emails and the user experience during the order path. Currently, we are overhauling the SEO for the site and have had very positive short-term results on traffic as well as better utilizing Google Analytics and Search Console.

What I like about Revive is the project tracking and knowing the amount of time and budget that is allocated to specific projects. Matt has been great about asking before he goes to far on a path that may be a low priority to me.

A combination of text, email, and Zoom as needed. We developed a fluid style of communication from the outset that continues today. Revive is great about suggesting specific changes and shares both a timeline and action items until we move to a different project.

Their level of consistency and flexibility is amazing! I have changed meetings a few times and I get the sense that with minimal oversight, the project continues while confirmations are made. I am a small company and Revive gives me the sense they understand i cannot afford projects other that the top priorities.

I upgraded to a new website and and Video Platform for my membership site. Revive Logic did all the front end, back end and design for the site. They also provided SEO services and ongoing maintenance.

Word of mouth from a web developer that couldn't handle the scale of the project.

We had an initial consult and from there we went back and forth on design elements and UX. They provided wireframes and we tweaked any final design choices. Then we launched.

I worked mostly with Matt White on everything. I provided copy, video and images to them that I already owned.

The SEO has helped increase traffic to my site. Site speed was also increased which really helps.

We had many Zoom meetings with screen shares. Slack and other file sharing for ease. They are incredibly responsive and communicative when there is a time-sensitive need. Matt has also trained me on many things including basic SEO and Guttenburg.

Personal attention. Working with one point person -- Matt. Patient and always delivers!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None they are always suggesting thing to improve my efficiency and offer great marketing advice too!
