Moncler: Launch Globally Through an ASO strategy
Our ASO team of specialists have supported the digital team at Moncler in identifying the best approach to reshape the Store Listings from keywords optimization as well as a design perspective.
The work focused on the optimization of 10+ Store Listings globally, including Japan, S. Korea, and Russia.
The optimization resulted in an incredible uplift of 270 new keywords for which the U.S. iOS page started to rank (main market) as well as increase in organic CVR of 29.9%.

Scale beyond the duopoly with TikTok
PhotoSi is the leading photo printing app in Italy and Spain. After many years of acquiring users at scale on Facebook and Google, the acquisition efforts hit a ceiling in terms of performance.
For this reason, REPLUG decided to approach a completely new channel that had never been used by PhotoSi, TikTok. The strategy implemented focused on first testing the channel with existing video creatives from Instagram but we soon realized that TikTok needed a content of its own. With this learning in mind, we approached micro-influencers and instruct them about the product and let them create original content for our performance-based campaigns.
In a few weeks the results started flowing in with incredible figures. We saw an immediate decrease in CPI, but most importantly we achieved a drop in CPA of 53.9%. However, we didn't stop at the CPA, as we wanted to see what the impact would be of a new and younger target audience, and in a matter of a few months, we noticed that the ROI was 1170% better than what achieved on Facebook.

Upday: 360-degree App Growth Consulting
Our app growth consulting team supported the Upday team with several activities around the launch and optimization of the mobile app in several countries.
We focused on the implementation and setup of the MMP (tracking and attribution tool) in the app, in order to track all marketing activities transparently and correctly assign the marketing spend.
Our team supported the upday marketing team with regular trainings and workshops.

Bring! Shopping List: Mobile App Audit
Our app marketing experts focused on a 360-degree app marketing audit, assessing the whole setup of the mobile app, with regard to:
1. MMP setup (attribution and tracking)

Redefine the mobile CRM & retention for Winelivery
While Winelivery was experiencing a massive growth due to widespread lockdown in the country, the team faced the challenge to engage in the right way its audience.
The CRM strategy implemented had an immediate uplift in engagement but also resulted in users flowing down the conversion funnel from registration to repeated purchases seamlessly.
With several automated journeys planned to take users from one action to the others, we achieved an increase in 1st purchase of 24.7% and repeated purchase of 18.5%. At the same time, we defined together with the Winelivery team a strategy to increase the referral rate, so to increase the users LTV. With a redesign of the app UX and additional fixes, the increase has been up to 28.8%.

Peek & Cloppenburg: Redefine the role of mobile
Peek & Cloppenburg is one of the leading retailer and fashion brand in Germany. After many years in the lead, the management decided to go through an in-depth audit to understand how to leverage even more all the digital channels.
Through an in-depth analysis of the activities (digital and offline), we put together a clear overview of how the mobile app could have supported the original business for P&C, which was already flourishing.
We identify key areas to improve and also suggested a clear tech infrastructure to support both acquisition and retention activities to sustain long-term growth.

From Zero to Hero: Scaling Wetaxi App Growth
Wetaxi approached us, because they were going to launch in several new cities in Italy and needed help identifying the best way to scale activities in a cost-effective way.
Our team identified several areas that needed attention to make sure all digital activities would fall in the right place.
First of all, we focused on restructuring their digital infrastructure, namely creating the basis for implementing the right tracking, attribution and analytics systems.
Then, we moved to App Store Optimization, to ensure that the app would be discoverable and rank for the right terms. With this optimization, we increased of 1105% the visibility of the app on both iOS and Android.
The last part we focused on was Paid User Acquisition, where we restructured Facebook, Google and Apple Search Ads accounts to achieve a better cost of acquisition. By doing so, we managed to decrease the CPA by 77% and increase weekly rides by 11%

Finetuning & growing Codecheck's organic presence
CodeCheck is the leading German mobile app for checking products' ingredients to run a healthy life. The mobile app has been at the top of the users' mind for many search terms and the team approached us to identify further opportunities to scale even further their organic presence.
The work focused on identifying the best possible comparable terms that could help the mobile app achieve extra growth and share of voice in organic research, while maintaining a strong presence for key terms.
The optimization resulted in a growth in visibility for both platform of about 100 terms each, and a weekly increased in organic CVR of 60% on iOS and 2.53% on Android.

Jaxon: ASO launch in Germany and the U.K.
Our App Store Optimization strategy focused on identifying the best possible keywords for the launch of the app in both Germany and the U.K..
Within a few weeks after the implementations, we achieved a very strong increase in visibility across the board, as well as the number of keywords in top 10.

I’m the senior marketing manager at UPDAY, a leading tech and media company, that is operating in 34 European markets. We have four different products in the field of content aggregation and curation. Our main product is the news app “Upday”, that is available on all Android and iOS smartphones.
Upday provides clients with relevant news, both human-curated by professional journalists and personalized by algorithms. Additionally, our company runs an e-sports app, a podcast app and API solutions for various B2B partners.
What challenge were you trying to address with REPLUG?
Although we have been in the market for five years now, paid user acquisition was a new challenge for us. At the beginning of our partnership with REPLUG, we did not have a mobile measurement partner integrated into our apps, for example.
Therefore, we wanted to hire a performance marketing agency to support us in building user acquisition channels.
What was the scope of their involvement?
REPLUG provided us with performance marketing campaign management and technical support. At the start of the project, they showed us detailed examples of what good performance marketing looks like, an in-depth look at user behavior, and tips for our design team to create performance ads. They provided us with a guideline and created a strategic plan to identify the user acquisition (UA )channels of our products.
Apart from that, they took their time to walk us through each campaign and send us detailed reports of the results. They also analyzed keywords and created content for the Play Store and were continually monitoring the aftermarket optimization of our products.
REPLUG recently helped us to integrate an API mobile measurement partner, to ensure the correct tracking of our UA campaign actions.

Our main point of contact was Lorenzo (Co-Founder & Head of Growth) as well as Luca (Co-Founder), but we also worked closely with different team members depending on the app.
How did you come to work with REPLUG?
One of our colleagues recommended REPLUG to us as a very experienced and knowledgeable company. They took over our performance campaigns and taught us to understand user acquisition. We felt from the beginning that they were rooting for our succcess, and they really wanted to make our product work.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
For our first project, REPLUG helped us with a UA campaign and achieved a significantly low consumer price index (CPI), so we were very satisfied with the results. Additionally, they also helped us with the app store optimization (ASO) for one of our additional apps and improved the ranking of 100 keywords within just six weeks.
It’s not common for an app to rank high on so many keywords with only a few downloads shortly after its release. By now this app achieved to rank Top five of its Play Store category.
How did REPLUG perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed great. REPLUG is proactive, transparent, detail-oriented, and they always respond to our feedback. We communicate via email, Slack, Zoom, and in some urgent cases, through WhatsApp.
What did you find most impressive about them?
REPLUG is a fairly small agency, so we were very impressed with their responsiveness and personal approach to the partnership. I trust them because they really focused on our goals and were highly creative in finding new solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s not necessarily something they need to improve, but if they incorporated design services into their company, they could provide complete all-in-one solutions. Otherwise no, I think they are doing a fantastic job.

It depends on the needs, but generally understanding your own goal first and then clearly communicating it does help REPLUG in creating a strategic plan for you.

I’m the founder and CEO of Winelivery, an alcohol delivery service. We have more than 200,000 active clients.
What challenge were you trying to address with REPLUG?
I was looking for support in setting up a new CRM for the company. I was looking for a team who could choose the right platform, to implement some automation, and work on specific KPIs on our userbase. My goal was to boost the number of repeat purchases. I also needed to improve the onboarding process from the download to their first purchase.
What was the scope of their involvement?
REPLUG began by reviewing our processes. It was a very strict collaboration where they were at the disposal of our team at any time we needed them. We worked together on everything. The real goal was to improve the conversion rate from registration to first purchase and also to boost the number of purchases per active client. They helped do the automation implementation inside the CRM.
I since have given them another project on user acquisitions through Facebook. They’re restructuring our acquisition panel on Facebook and Instagram. They also work on our positioning on the app store. They continue to manage the CRM and APIs.

How did you come to work with REPLUG?
They sent me a cold email with a showcase of a friend of mine. I looked at the use cases and I called my friend asking them if they were good and if what they were telling me was true. My friend said they were good, reliable, and strong. I gave them a one-month contract to address the KPI on the CRM. They were really good and I’ve continued with them.
How much have you invested with them?
We have invested about €40,000 (approximately $48,000 USD).

We started working together in July 2020 and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m really satisfied with their work. I’ve tried other consultancies in the last five years and REPLUG is the best one. The KPIs are the registration rate, the first purchase rate, etc. We measure their impact on the company.
How did REPLUG perform from a project management standpoint?
They work well with us. Managing the project primarily falls in their hands. They’re able to reach the goal and are compliable to what I ask them. We have a weekly call with my team and their team. We speak 2-3 times a week.
What did you find most impressive about them?
REPLUG is very proactive, flexible, and goal-oriented. If we define the scope and I have something else, they just work on it without any complaints. They aim to reach the goal. It’s not just profit for them.

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Just take care of the hourly rate because they are very expensive especially if you compare their prices within the market. I’ve advised them to many intrapreneurs. I really like the way they do their job.

My name is Mirko De Feo. I’m the Head of Growth at Wetaxi. It is a major taxi app in this area.
What challenge were you trying to address with REPLUG?
We were looking for performance marketing campaigns for mobile devices during the expansion of our company. Our marketing team was small and unprepared to face all the campaigns and budgets that needed to be managed during expansion. So, we needed another team to handle budget management and marketing strategies.

They worked in collaboration with our marketing team to create a digital infrastructure that could sustain the expansion. The team also identified opportunities to improve our users’ experience.
