I'm the founder of a voice transcription startup.

We needed help to develop a platform for our business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Renesis Tech are the developers of our platform, which they built from scratch. We’re in a startup and launch phase, and they have been in charge of the tech development. The product is a voice detection AI system, which they made in JavaScript and Python.
What is the team composition?
I worked with 6–10 people from their team, including project managers, tech supporters, client relationship agents, developers, and designers.
How did you come to work with Renesis Tech?
I found them through a Google search. I interviewed with them to ensure that they could build the product to the scale that I needed. I contacted a few different companies, but some didn’t understand the idea, some didn’t have the time to do it, or they couldn’t do it according to my expectations. Renesis Tech also gave me better solutions to the challenges we had.
How much have you invested in them?
We have spent $50,000–$80,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2020, and it is ongoing. They're still in charge of the tech part and supporting us with the launch as well.

We have measured success based on user demand and user retention, which we’re currently trying to do, but they did a great job bringing the idea and product to life. Before that, it was based on meeting deadlines and keeping the timeframes that were always executed on time.
How did Renesis Tech perform from a project management standpoint?
They dedicate one project manager to my project — they handle everything well, and they are always available whenever we have questions. If there are any issues, they immediately fix them. In terms of tools, we used Monday.com for a while, and we switched to ClickUp for project management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their honesty in what they can and can’t do is outstanding. They try their best to get everything done no matter what, even if there is an issue. They tell us what we should do and explain to us the reasons why — their team is straightforward and delivers.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could acquire a little more talent in specific domains like design. If more experienced designers and developers are required, it can be better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Sometimes big ideas are great, but sometimes it can be too much, and no one can handle it. Start slowly and don’t give them too much at once.
Renesis Tech fully understands the client’s goals and is guiding them through the development process. The client tracks progress through an online portal, and they have weekly meetings via Zoom. Their team communicates well and the upper-level management is directly involved in project management.
