Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CEO and co-founder of FLZS Solutions, an IT outsourcing company. We focus on automation, web application development, and consulting services for digitizing processes and business models. We’re not only IT-focused; we’re also involved in strategic business decisions in different companies.

What challenge were you trying to address with Relightix?

We were developing a new business application for a client, and we needed someone who had expertise in certain technologies like React.js. We didn’t have anyone in-house with this knowledge and we had tough deadlines that we wanted to achieve, so we hired Relightix. 

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our engagement had many deliverables, but the main one was for Relightix to quickly jump onto the development train since the project already started. For context, we were forced to change the IT provider that we originally worked with, and Relightix was the second provider we hired. They initially read the documentation and the business code we provided, and then they started working. The app they must develop was a booking platform that had a CRM functionality. It also had a login and registration functionality. 

The Relightix team has since developed an MVP for the app using React.js. Now, we’re focusing on developing the app further for our third-party customer. 

What is the team composition?

We work with Relightix’s two co-founders, who do design and development.

How did you come to work with Relightix?

We met Relightix via an online Russian programming hub. We saw their profile and thought that they were quite good at using React.js. In fact, they already had 20–30 projects using this technology, so we chose them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $10,000–$20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2021 for the first phase of the project, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve been straightforward about the project’s challenges from the beginning. I’ve highlighted that, and Relightix has followed along. They always give their opinions about every challenge we face and about milestones that might not be fulfilled. In other words, the team has been honest. 

They also meet our hard deadlines, which are sometimes unrealistic. They’re efficient, and they’ve done the best job I’ve ever seen. We also receive feedback from customers every week. Above all, the fact that we’re moving forward in this project is a good sign that its first phase has been successful. 

To sum up, we enjoy working with Relightix because they’re young and dynamic, and they’re willing to bring value to us and not just earn money. The team puts effort and results as top priorities, and they focus on relationship-based collaboration, which is the way to go. 

How did Relightix perform from a project management standpoint?

The Relightix team is well-organized. We work in an agile development environment, and we’re in charge of project management. Our teams have weekly roundtable meetings for reviewing what we’ve already finished while also planning the weeks ahead. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with their relationship-based way of working, honesty, and authenticity.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can improve their English skills. That being said, everything has worked very well, and there haven’t been any cases where we don’t understand each other.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Don’t spoil the relationship and Relightix’s trust. Remember that they focus on harmonious and prosperous cooperation.

I am the Director and Solutions Architect of a software consultancy company based in New Zealand.

For what projects/services did your company hire Relightix?

We hired Relightix for revamping the UI/UX of a Patient's Treatment Journey app built for an oncology clinic.

How did you select this vendor?

We hired Relightix because of previous experience working with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We designed and built an app to provide support for breast cancer patients. It contains information about the steps they will take in their treatment journey, trusted resources, FAQs, patient's diary, notes and the ability to invite support persons to their account.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked directly with their UI/UX designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project has just gone live and our client is extremely happy with the new designs.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Easy to get along and very responsive to messages.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were impressed with their creativity and impeccable design skills. Also great knowledge of industry-standard patterns and practices.

What was the team composition?

We used a designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Screens were finished quickly and look impressive. We love showing them off to interested parties.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Great communication. We used regular zoom call to get alignment and make sure the project requirements were understood. Most of the communication outside of this was completed through slack and figma comments. It was all very effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The overall experience was brilliant. Communication was great. Deliverables exceeded expectations.
