If you can dream it, we can build it.
In 2019, Rebels was founded with the mission to make complex IT knowledge available to everyone, everywhere. We want to help solve complex issues, optimize business, and smoothen out production processes by applying the latest tools and technologies.
We can help you realize a project from start to finish, strengthen your team, and help you meet your deadlines in an efficient, professional manner.
We have a team of young, skilled and determined IT specialists, developers, Agile experts and designers who work together as a cross-functional team on every project. Where other digital agencies work with siloed teams of data experts, UX and visual designers, front-enders and back-enders, we defy the status quo and do not work in this traditional way. We believe this hinders our effectiveness and negates the advantages of Agile working. By breaking away from tradition, we can share knowledge, continuously adapt, learn, and consequently, revolutionize our work.
At Rebels, we use many technologies to realize your wishes. First, we take the time to understand the core of your business before we start choosing the best technology stack for your product.
Since we do not think solely out of a sales perspective, this means that we are willing to take risks and face almost any challenge head-on, as we know the process is as important as the results. We believe that to achieve greatness, you have to take risks.
No dream is too big, and by staying on top of the newest innovations, we can help you realize whatever you want. We are ready for companies that don't have the expertise in-house, where there is a problem with capacity, or where releases are in danger of not being realized. We are Rebels. We realize revolutions. Join our movement and reach out today.

LeasePlan is an international company of Dutch origin, specialized in fleet management for lease cars. One of our most complex back-end projects has been the Car Policy Configurator for LeasePlan.
Since their inception in 1963, the company has grown to become the global market leader in fleet management. We have built an application for generating contracts for the customers of LeasePlan by filling in a questionnaire, which the clients can use for their employees. Recruitment in 2020 is as competitive and innovative as any other industry. Therefore, recruitment companies rely more and more on the latest technologies to stand out. Which is why Vaqancies hired Rebels to build a complete Applicant Tracking System to help companies create an extraordinary employee experience.
At Vaqancies, they do everything they can to make the hiring process as transparent as possible for companies and candidates, as their mission is to guarantee an extraordinary employee experience. Rebels enhanced this experience by building a complete Applicant Tracking System for the back-end of their website and optimized the user experience with front-end expertise. The entire system was developed based on feedback from clients and candidates, which ensured that Rebels was able to keep Vaqancies mission in mind.
One of Vaqancies’ key selling points is the VR solutions we have provided for them. The client praises Rebels for their top-level service and thorough project management. Their personable resources and honest, transparent progress tracking methods also stand out. Future clients will encounter a responsible partner that provides a constant dose of energy and understands startups.
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the lead software engineer at Vaqancies, a startup in HR tech. We’re building a new applicant tracking system, where the client can create their own career pages and manage their candidates.
What challenge were you trying to address with Rebels?
We needed a company to help us develop our applicant tracking system.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provide us with people who are helping to develop our platform, mainly on the frontend because we don’t have that expertise in-house. We are building career pages for each client and we want those pages to be optimized and good for indexing by Google and Google Jobs. They help with building these pages for each client in a generic way that we can reuse.
What is the team composition?
At the start, we had three people working for three months and then we scaled down to two people for 2-3 months. Now we just have one person remaining.
How did you come to work with Rebels?
We share a common shareholder. I interviewed them and realized they had a good amount of knowledge about the frontend and what we needed to build. They knew the product because of the shareholder, so this was an easy decision.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $250,000–$500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2020 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Their service is great. They’re a bunch of smart people. At their office, the other developers can talk to them and discuss the product with them. I’m having a great experience working with them. I’d definitely recommend them.
How did Rebels perform from a project management standpoint?
We manage the project. They provide their hours and good information on what their people worked on. I can check the invoices and make sure that it is aligned with my own notes. They use a time tracking tool to track their hours to see how the project is progressing from their end.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re a young group of people and also a startup, so, in that way, we’re a little bit similar. It’s a fun bunch of people to work with. They always have great ideas on how to improve the product.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Get them involved from the start. They have a lot of knowledge about product and have people who have worked in different companies. Involve them early to help you shape your ideas. They've helped us a lot with that.
