Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the managing director of The Studio at H+K Strategies, a global PR and communications agency. I handle the design team and production company within H+K Strategies.
What challenge were you trying to address with Raft content?
We had a significantly sized project we were working on for a client that required a large number of videos created in a short amount of time. We needed to outsource some of the video production to a reliable and talented team that could turn around one of the content pieces.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Raft content created the video content for one of our clients, an automotive company that was going to be a part of a major European employee engagement event.
The video Raft content produced was a call-to-action video that asked employees to take part in an event. The video was a part of a series of virtual conferences and was broadcast over a virtual platform.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with one teammate from Raft content.
How did you come to work with Raft content?
Our in-house studio manager found Raft content because she deals with all of our resources. I don’t have specifics, but I think she found Raft content through an online platform that advertised their services.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent no more than $5,000 with Raft content.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with Raft content in September 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Several thousand employees viewed the video that Raft content put together, and we’ve had great feedback collected across the project.
Our client is delighted with the uptake from the call to action video — it has been a definite success for them regarding follow-up participation.
How did Raft content perform from a project management standpoint?
Raft content had excellent project management. We had a really tight timeframe and communication was key. Raft content gave us advanced warning of what would be ready and laid out exactly what they needed before they delivered each piece of the project so that the project could continue on schedule.
Their team made it easy for us to work iteratively across the project, which was the only way we got the work done in the 48-hour time frame.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Raft content listened well and was very attentive about understanding the project brief. They asked lots of questions at the beginning, which showed us that there was a clear commitment from them to understand the project and get it right the first time.
I loved their project management, and their technical detailing was excellent — there were very few edits on the first viewing of the project. They pretty much got it right the first time. Technically and organizationally, they were great.
The teammate we worked with was great in terms of relationship building, and I’d happily work with Raft content again.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think they have anything to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Potential clients need to have a clear brief and understanding of the deliverables — if they can supply that, then there is no doubt that Raft content can deliver what clients want.

For what projects/services did your company hire Raft content, and what were your goals?
We needed to bring a complex concept to life - what could the future of work feel like in 2030? An immersive video was the way to do this. We had all the details in our slides and documents. We needed to bring the emotion, the feel of this bold vision to life through video.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked at several firms - but Raft's ability to tease out emotion was what drew us to them. Once I spoke with Arnaldo it was clear he 'got it'. He played back a concept to me and it struck the emotional chord we were looking for. Arnaldo his team were highly aligned and all seemed to understand our ambitions for this project.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We spent time together really understanding the concept, refining the script. We then worked through a very detailed storyboard. The produced some of the content using stock footage that brought the storyboard to life. We selected actors for our live shots, then we did a full day of live shooting. They assembled a full draft.
Through the tools they provided we could collaborate on every aspect of the draft. After a few amends we had a final product the absolutely hit the mark.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We had a project manager who worked very closely with us, but also the producer and director. It was a great team effort. Feedback was fluid and easy, with great tools to collaborate and easy access to jump on a call to talk through things.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video was part of a major client deliverable. It was THE key moment in our presentation and immersed them completely into the future vision as we intended. The client never expected a video, and certainly nothing of this level of quality and professionalism
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Always on - available via email, phone, text, WhatsApp - kept us informed every step of the way. There were no surprises and quite nicely kept us on task as well.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to really understand what you are trying to do and their ability to orchestrate and articulate all of the details we would have overlooked. They felt like a part of our team. they were as passionate about the intent and outcome of the project as we were.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They were wonderful to work with on all fronts - we will engage them again and I hope to have the exact same experience - please don't change a thing!

I’m the creative lead at a design studio. We partner with the world's biggest brands and newest startups that are at the forefront of future mobility, the urban realm, retail, and consumer tech.

An internal sizzle real to sell a service vision about service onboard.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Raft content had the right balance of technical and artistic skills and immediately understood the ambition.

The video is about 3 min long and describe the company values and the ever changing market before visualising the actual service piece and bring to life some elements of our design. We came up with a mock storyboard that was refined by Arnaldo (Director) and In parallèle with building the structure Arnaldo conducted test to sign off the tone of the video for the client to sign off.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
Arnaldo’s ways of working was very organic and using Frame for time stamps comments as well as slack for exchanging ideas made it very seamless. Adding that Arnaldo was pleasant and fast to work with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Ultimately the sizzle was shared with all stakeholders and the CEO allowing internal sell in and sign off of our design piece.

Very seamless and proactive. Arnaldo was able to quickly visualise concepts and pro actively sharing alternative route that helped refining the video
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They have a great balance of technical and creative knowledge, with generosity in sharing insights, inputs and sources. Arnaldo shared his great data base of content which made the project much more richer.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Anticipating rendering time would help but this is a shared area of improvement with us as we also have late feedbacks.
Raft content successfully produced the video, which has been a success for the client’s customer regarding follow-up participation. The Raft content team laid out clear timelines and delivered within the 48-hour time frame they were given. They listened and communicated well.
