I am the manager of Kamel Park Hotel. Our hotel is located in Kisii County in Kenya. We are a 5 star rated hotel and offer accommodation facilities in addition we provide events planning, swimming, e.t.c

For what projects/services did your company hire Quest Website Developers Ltd, and what were your goals?

As a hospitality company having a website was very important at start. We really needed a good looking website and one where customers could make reservations and booking. That's when we contacted quest designers team, we provided quest with requirements on how we would like our website to look like.

How did you select Quest Website Developers Ltd and what were the deciding factors?

We have been working with quest developers before, actually I personally known Edward (works at quest) and knew that he did web development. That's how we got hooked in working with quest website developers

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We developed the website in stages. Firstly when the hotel was being built, we felt the need to come up with a website that could inform people around Kisii and Kenya at large that we are coming up with a big hotel. When we finished building the hotel, now is when we needed to make the website such that people can book and make reservations.

Quest web come up with a WordPress website where they integrated a booking engine such that our receptionist was able to see the bookings and also able to make changes. It included a whole property management system(PMS) for our hotel. A contact us form was included and when a person needed to contact us directly they were able to.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We only worked with Edward, He worked with our in-house graphic designers to provide the whole project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We receive a lot of inquires from the website, clients call and say they got our contacts from the website. We as well receive a lot of website contact form inquiries. These leads are therefore converted to long lasting customers.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

For communication we preferred using WhatsApp, We created a WhatsApp group which included our team from Kamel park hotel and the developers, This made it easy for us to communicate and seek updates.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We got everything we expected and wanted. Quest website even advised us on using an email provider Zoho which if very good and easy to use. They also guided us on setting up Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts where we have a good number of followers.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes, We noticed that the website speed is slow a bit. They are working on optimization

We hired Quest Website to design and develop a WordPress listing/real estate website for our company.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a website where our customers could see all our properties for sale and rent. It was easier with a website that using a phone or taking the customers to the site.

I searched for website designers in Kenya near us and found Quest designers, and since Quest designers offices are in Kikuyu town near our operations we choose to work with them

The website is a WordPress site, We are able to post our properties on the website.

What was the team composition?

We worked with a team of two people and a graphic designer, Our secretary and I were responsible of providing the properties to post

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website has really helped us grow our customers, we have a mailing list from mailchimp that helps us keep the customers records. Once a customer does not find what they want in our website, we collect their details via a form in the website and when the property is available we contact them. I can say the website has really helped us greatly in building our customers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We still work with Quest team to update our website, Since 2015 I would say I have ever had any issue in communication with the design team

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I would say they have a well trained professionals, they know what they are doing. We have engaged them in other projects like (zoko.co.ke) where they are doing a good job.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We always wanted a way where other real estate agents can post on our website and charge them fee as a way of diversification. We are working with quest website team to see how we can achieve this.
