Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m a founding partner of Virtido, a software development and consulting company. We’re headquartered in Switzerland, but we manage a nearshore practice in Ukraine.

What challenge were you trying to address with Qualified Consulting?

Qualified Consulting is one of our local nearshore partners whenever we need extra resources for a project.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’ve involved Qualified Consulting in two projects. In one case, our client needed a healthcare software solution. Qualified Consulting directly worked with the client and handled every aspect of the project from end to end. From our side, it was quite low maintenance. 

The other project involved a FinTech solution for which we body leased a mid-level developer from Qualified Consulting. In both cases, the teams were working on backends using .NET.

What is the team composition?

The healthcare project consisted of three people, while the FinTech project involved one mid-level developer.

How did you come to work with Qualified Consulting?

We received a word-of-mouth recommendation for a few of our developers and managers who had worked with Qualified Consulting. After having a chat with their team, we felt we could trust them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $250,000 and $500,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership started in June 2017 and is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

From our side, each project with Qualified Consulting was low maintenance. The team speaks English well and demonstrates both thoughtful communication and sophisticated technical expertise. They regularly challenge clients and provide better solutions to issues proactively, which I appreciate. Qualified Consulting is one of our best local partners—I’m really happy with them.

How did Qualified Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

As I said previously, Qualified Consulting proactively communicates and is easy to manage. When I don’t hear anything from our clients or our project manager, that’s a good sign. In both projects, that was the case with Qualified Consulting. Everything went smoothly.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Qualified Consulting’s communication stands out most to me.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I'm honestly happy with their work. 

Any advice for potential customers?

Communicate well and define your targets. Treat Qualified Consulting as equals—chances are, they might know more than you do. Just be very appreciative of their work, their effort, and their perspective.
