Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Senior Director for Transformation at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
For what projects/services did your company hire PUSH Collaborative, and what were your goals?
We have stood up a Clinical Innovation Lab that is creating a pathway to bring innovation solutions to care delivery and needed branding content to share more about our lab with internal and external stakeholders.
How did you select this vendor?
We had heard great things about their work from other colleagues and in reviewing their portfolio, we really got attracted to the range of styles and general aesthetic.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
We went through a very meticulous process of create a narrative that aptly described the initiative in which we highlighted the big take home messages. That was followed up by a story boarding series of design where images were created to represent the narrative. The voice over options were reviewed in detail to ensure the right tone is being set. And finally the colored draft was provided for review for final review before locking it in.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked directly with the creative director, Rohan Narang, as well his associate the Art Director, Heather O'Meara for the most past.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
As a result of this content created, we have a strong dissemination strategy designed as well as will be using it to communicate the initiative to our board of governance and clinical chairs.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The whole team at Push was so attentive and prompt with sending us drafts to review, making edits and taking feedback. They were very patient through some delays that were experience on our end and kept supporting us in any way that we needed.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The whole process of getting to the final product - their thoughtfulness with each step and the going through all aspects of the design gave us a lot of clarity on our own product. And secondly, the ease of working with them - they were so open to feedback but also had such great creative insights to add. They were truly our partners!
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nothing at all!

Video Production for SaaS Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the co-founder of a SaaS company. We make a tool that allows mobile app teams to release updates more easily and collaboratively.
For what projects/services did your company hire PUSH Collaborative, and what were your goals?
We wanted a short animated explainer video for a marketing page where visitors would need to understand what our product did very quickly.
How did you select PUSH Collaborative and what were the deciding factors?
We were referred to them by another company; we had heard that they were able to deliver excellent results in a very short timeframe, that the process and pricing was great, and we were impressed by the final product.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.
We started with an intro/kickoff call, where expectations were set as to what the overall process would look like from start to finish; including how much would be expected on our part for providing content vs their ability to fill in details. After the initial call and finalizing a contract, we came up with an initial script and sent it over for a couple of rounds of feedback as to what would work well given their experience.
Then, we sent over some basic brand assets. Next, they delivered an initial storyboard, and we were given the opportunity to ask questions and leave feedback and suggestions over multiple iterations. Finally, the storyboard was ‘locked’ and they delivered an initial video, and we still had the opportunity to ask for smaller tweaks and choose a voice actor, as well as to give additional feedback on script delivery and music and sound effects.
Both sides were working towards a final delivery date to accommodate our marketing schedule, and Push seamlessly made sure progress was on track to make this work.
Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?
We worked with Rohan, who made sure to reach out consistently with informative progress updates and clear guidance as to what we should be looking at next and how/where to leave feedback. He was also extremely accommodating when we asked for additional storyboard and video examples from previous work to consider our options.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video was delivered on time and was a central part of a major PR effort, our first as a company. It has continued to be a useful asset that we can send to prospective customers or users to understand what our product does at a high level, something that hasn’t always been straightforward due to the complexity of our offering.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
Despite working towards a set deadline, we never felt rushed or that the deadline was in jeopardy, which was a testament to Rohan’s consistent communication and guidance. Push worked quickly but thoughtfully and provided an intuitive interface to provide feedback for both storyboards and video drafts.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had never engaged in a process like this before, but we were made to feel very comfortable throughout — from the clear expectations set on our initial call, to the consistent and predictable iteration cycle and feedback tools, as well as thoughtful attention to our feedback. It was both a highly professional and creatively rewarding experience.
Soon after delivery of the final video, my next thought was to see how we could make sure to recommend Push to others, which is unusual to say the least. Highly recommended.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None.

Animated Video Production for AI Software Technology Company
"PUSH Collaborative did an excellent job conveying our message through a short video."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CMO at TruEra, an AI software technology company. We provide critical analytics to ensure the quality of AI applications.
What challenge were you trying to address with PUSH Collaborative?
We wanted more people to understand the problem that our company solves and the value of our solution, so we decided to go through a complete branding refresh.
As a part of that refresh, we were looking for someone to help us engage with potential customers through an animated video.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PUSH Collaborative produced a two-and-a-half-minute animation for us. After discussing our needs with the team, they created sketches of their idea. We provided some feedback and gave them the go-signal to proceed with storyboarding.
Eventually, PUSH Collaborative delivered a rough draft. They gave us options in terms of music and voice actors, and we chose from there. The team then proceeded with the editing process and delivered the final product. The video now runs on the home page of our site.
What is the team composition?
Our account manager was Rohan (Creative Director), but 2–3 teammates worked in the background to produce the video.
How did you come to work with PUSH Collaborative?
Our company was already engaged with PUSH Collaborative when I started working here.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $3,000–$4,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from April–June 2021. We were in contact in December 2020, but we didn’t have enough resources on our end to start working immediately.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We were delighted with how the video came out — our engineering team felt that it made us look much more professional. Our sales team was also very excited about having a video explaining what we do very clearly.
How did PUSH Collaborative perform from a project management standpoint?
The PUSH Collaborative team did a pretty good job of informing us of what they were working on. Their turnaround time was very quick, and they were easy to work with and responsive to our feedback.
Since it was a relatively small project, we didn’t need to use project management software. We only communicated through email and video calls, and it worked out.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were flexible and creative about their interpretation of our work. We’re a highly technical company, and our concepts can be a little abstract. Still, PUSH Collaborative did an excellent job conveying our message through a short video.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could’ve kept in touch with us a little bit more, but honestly, we also had some communication lags on our side since we were working on the branding refresh as a whole. Overall, it was a positive experience.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have regular check-ins with the team.

Explainer Video for Financial Services Company
"I'm thrilled with the product and will use their services again."

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the marketing manager for a company that serves companies that ship goods as well as their transportation providers.
For what projects/services did your company hire PUSH Collaborative?
PUSH created a 90-second explainer video to support a new software launch.
What were your goals for this project?
This video (along with email driving people to the video) is the most important element of our lead gen strategy.
How did you select PUSH Collaborative?
I believe I first found them on Clutch.io. I asked my team to blindly rate videos from PUSH and two other vendors I liked. Every person on the team rated PUSH's videos higher than the others, so it was an easy decision.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
PUSH Collaborative was so easy to work with. I opted to write the script, but they provided some edits that really gave it the right finishing touch. We spoke about the project, I provided screen shots of the software, which they used to create simpler versions of for the video. The entire process was collaborative, and because they are very careful with frequent reviews and approvals, it was very smooth.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
PUSH uses an online tool that allowed me to provide feedback for each frame in the video.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I can't share outcomes because we haven't launched the product yet, but I think PUSH did exceptional work and the video is effective at communicating the value proposition.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The back and forth was very natural. We communicated via email and the online review tool, which was easy to use.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Two things stand out with PUSH. One, the way they treated as me as a customer. Every communication was professional, friendly, and service-oriented. And two, the end result. I'm thrilled with the product, and will use their services again.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I have no suggestions for improving the process.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the creative manager on the marketing team for a company called Seagate Technology.
What challenge were you trying to address with PUSH Collaborative?
We needed PUSH Collaborative for animated video support and illustrations.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PUSH Collaborative has helped us with our animation and video needs. We first introduced our needs and provided them with the brand guidelines they needed to follow, as well as any type of look and feel they needed to account for. Once we briefed them about the project, they were able to provide us with the quote, which we reviewed and turned into a PO. After we agreed on the costs and the project had kicked off, PUSH took the brief and ran with it.
They have provided us with wireframes and key milestones to the project, in terms of the next deliverables. They’ve done our animated videos, which range between 2–5 minutes.
Usually, after they complete the production, we’ve been able to review it and run it through a couple of our stakeholders. Once PUSH receives feedback, they give us another opportunity to rereview what our ideas are. When it’s finished and signed off, they essentially deliver those final files, which we upload into our own CMS.
We don’t have many revision rounds, and they’ve caught our guidelines immediately, which has allowed them to provide us with what we’re looking for.
What is the team composition?
My main point of contact has been Rohan (Creative Director).
How did you come to work with PUSH Collaborative?
A colleague recommended them to us. We went through the vetting and tried to understand what their full capacities were. Ultimately, we ran some pricing, and they fit our budget, so we hired them.
What is the status of this engagement?
The first time we interacted was probably August 2020, and we’re still working together.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The work they’ve provided has just been published, so we don’t have our numbers back yet. However, it’s definitely something we’re monitoring, because it’s been a big style transition for us. One feedback that I’d give is that working with them has felt like working with my internal team.
How did PUSH Collaborative perform from a project management standpoint?
Internally, we used Wrike as a project management tool. We’ve built out the projects internally and, even though we haven’t been able to assign PUSH Collaborative a license for tools, we’ve been able to share milestones with them. From Rohan’s perspective, he has been the one who has kept track of those milestones, and we have weekly stand-ups to communicate with a broader team for our timing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
So far, we’ve enjoyed how close they’ve been in terms of their first iterations. Also, we’ve been pleased with their availability in terms of communication, which we think is vital. They’ve been available whenever changes occur. As an organization, things can pivot, and being available to make those changes when needed is key. Having a partner who can move as quickly as your business is very important.
Working with PUSH Collaborative has felt like working with somebody from my own team. It's the way they've hopped on our feedback to turn around the project. I can give them a project, provide input, and have all the requested changes by the next day.
Are there any areas they could improve?
From the engagement we’ve had, at least for the animation and video project, it has gone pretty smoothly. I haven’t fully explored other services with them but, from what I have, it has been everything we’ve expected it to be.
Any advice for potential customers?
Be as thorough in briefing them as you can so that Rohan and the rest of the PUSH team can provide you with strategic solutions. They are very smart at it. On the enterprise side, they’ll be able to provide you with the best practices they see out there. Moreover, be open to their suggestions because they can come up with great options to consider.

Video Production for Medical Education Platform
"Their quick & painless collaboration was impressive."

the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Digital Media Production Manager at The American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), and I act as their primary creative and technical resource for video and audio productions across the company.
This includes everything from detailed hands-on simulation videos to podcasts to enhanced video lectures to motion graphics animations, and serves both our marketing/comm division as well as edu, publishing, and our non-profit foundation.
For what projects/services did your company hire PUSH Collaborative?
A challenging/academic 5-min video animation in under a 3.5 week timeline
What were your goals for this project?
This video was intended to cover a vast array of COVID nebulization literature in a clean and modern visual aesthetic.
How did you select PUSH Collaborative?
I selected PUSH based on their portfolio page, not just for their visual style, but for their ability to adapt it well, and for their experience in scientific subject matter. Once I got a cost estimate and saw they were in our budget range, it was a no-brainer.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
We provided a finished script, and then I worked with them to choose a VO artist and set some general creative direction at the outset (with plenty of examples of prior work).
PUSH listened well, asked good questions, and within a week or so I had already reviewed and approved their narration audio and had a storyboard in my hand that needed minimal adjustments.
After that they were off to the races since we had only about 3 weeks or less for animation. The first draft video was already very close to where I wanted it to be.
VO and music were spot-on and helped breathe life into a very dense academic script, the graphical elements and icon selection was refreshing and had just the right amount of animation/movement at all times, and by the end I didn't realize I had just watched a 5-min academic lecture.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
Project management was a helpful/casual one-on-one with Rohan (Creative Director) via email.
Because of the shorter timeline we agreed to condense the storyboarding process, and I wanted to give them more creative control provided they understood some reference points and boundaries.
I was open to new approaches so I was happy for PUSH to grab the reigns here a bit.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The video hasn't launched yet, so all I can say is that our staff and the project sponsors were very pleased with where it ended up.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Their quick & painless collaboration was impressive.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their ability to take super dry, academic content and breathe some humanity and a clean aesthetic into it.
Music selection and VO narration are areas I typically have to take more control of as a producer to get what I want, but PUSH nailed my goals for those elements on the first try.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They handled the rushed nature of this project and its timeline very well, so honestly even if I did have a critique, it's the situation that we as clients imposed on them that would have likely been the cause.

Educational Animated Videos for Specialty Pharmacy
"PUSH understood what we had in mind; they took our ideas and made them better."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
BioMatrix is a specialty pharmacy and I am their digital marketing strategist.
What challenge were you trying to address with PUSH Collaborative?
We had come up with an initiative to create instructional videos, so we partnered with PUSH.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, they worked with us to develop our approach. On our end, we tried to be very deliberate about the storyboarding process and put as much foresight into getting the content right — we worked with our clinical team to flesh out the concepts and the visuals. They would then send us the final storyboard through a PDF file for us to review.
We also wanted the videos to be animated, so we needed an animator and voice talent to do the voice-over. PUSH managed the logistics of finding and working with the animator and the talent.
The team then went on to fulfill and create four videos, which were all around 3–4 minutes long, depending on the content. Some of the videos showed instructions on how patients could properly do injections and some depicted the patient’s journey under our care. They did the editing for us, as well. Aside from those four videos, they also edited a short video for us, which was unrelated to the project.
What is the team composition?
I only worked directly with Rohan (Creative Director).
How did you come to work with PUSH Collaborative?
They were recommended by a member of our board of trustees who had previously worked with PUSH.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost of their services was in the $20,000–$40,000 range.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the project with PUSH between July 2020–January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our team was really impressed by it. On a scale of 1–10, 10 being great, we’d give them a 10. In terms of pushing this out to our members on the field and to our clinical team, we’re still getting ready to do a rollout, so we don't have much feedback from target audiences yet.
How did PUSH Collaborative perform from a project management standpoint?
They were super responsive. If I needed to clarify anything about the project and wanted to hop on for a quick chat or video call, Rohan would send me a meeting invite with what time we could meet. The team was always quick and responsive, and they were really wonderful to work with. They totally understood where we were coming from. Communication was mostly over email, while the videos would be uploaded to Dropbox for us to review.
The partnership was very easy — PUSH adapted really easily and quickly implemented any changes that were needed after we reviewed the videos internally through our clinical team. Even when we needed changes late into the project, they made the whole process easy without making it a big deal. They were also really quick to understand some of the important key elements about our goal of being very inclusive and representational and they included different kinds of people.
The project took a long time because of delays on our end. I think it could have been a lot quicker, but there was a very stringent review process on our side — our internal review process was complicated and we had a lot of regulations that we had to go through before we could create content, such as Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) requirements.
What did you find most impressive about them?
PUSH understood what we had in mind; they took our ideas and made them better. In previous projects, there were times where it was hard to communicate or translate what we were thinking to vendors, but that wasn’t an issue with PUSH.
They were also excited and gung-ho about our mission and to be part of what we were doing — they seemed happy to work with us and we were happy to work with them. They were really capable and exceeded all of our expectations with the final product.
They accommodated us when we needed to have a one-off video to be edited on short notice — they did this for a really fair price and they tacked it on and finished it really quickly. It was really nice to know that they were willing to help with other projects if we had them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I really can’t think of anything — it was pretty seamless from beginning to end. If anything, our team could have improved with our being more timely.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Head of Growth at Iteratively. We're a SaaS tool that helps companies collaborate on and enforce their analytics schema.
For what projects/services did your company hire PUSH Collaborative?
We hired PUSH Collaborative to help us produce an explainer video summarizing the main features of our product and visualizing them in a video format.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to use the video as a part of our product onboarding, featured on our website and as a part of our Product Hunt launch.
How did you select PUSH Collaborative?
Someone in our network had recommended PUSH Collaborative to us.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
We were working with a very tight deadline and PUSH Collaborative was happy to accommodate that. We met in the beginning of the project to understand our requirements and we documented what we wanted to see in the video. Everything else was done async and PUSH Collaborative was quick to get back to us, always delivering on schedule and implemented our feedback down to the detail. I was impressed with how little info they needed to turn this video into something amazing.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
They shared the storyboard and video progress through web apps that were easy to provide feedback with. Great feedback process and always timely!
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have gotten a lot of positive feedback from people who have watched the video and several people have asked me to introduce them to PUSH Collaborative. The video has been very well received and we're extremely proud of it.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Super easy and seamless, great working async and easy to provide feedback.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The quick turnaround time and the fact that they could turn a basic script and simple guidelines into something that was just spot on. They seemed to understand a fairly technical product and convey that visually – and very quickly!
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, I truly think they did an awesome job and would recommend them to anyone wanting to do an explainer video!

Video Production for Software Company
“If we asked to change anything — no matter how small it was — they were accommodating.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an organization that provides software services that help clients automate their analytics. Typically, we help them pull data from various sources.
What challenge were you trying to address with PUSH Collaborative?
We needed to revamp our website, and in doing so, we needed an explainer video to describe our company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PUSH Collaborative helped from start to finish. We started with an initial ideation session to determine what we wanted to convey. That led to creating a storyboard that illustrated and outlined the video. We started with an initial black and white version on the storyboard, then we would iterate on that, creating a full-color version of the storyboard.
Once the video was fully illustrated, it continued to evolve as we layered audio, created sound effects, and added music. From there, they created the voiceover script and hired a voiceover actor.
We also used graphical assets and images they created for the video on our website as well.
What is the team composition?
I worked directly with Rohan (Creative Director). I assume there were other people on the team, but the only other person I worked with was the voice actor.
How did you come to work with PUSH Collaborative?
I found them through my network. I was exploring different options and they were referred to me. We evaluated several options, but it was clear from their samples that PUSH Collaborative produces high-quality videos.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent $5,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the project in October and we finished it up in December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They produced quality work that aligned with our vision. They did an excellent job and we’re very satisfied with their work. The quality of their illustrations and the final video were very high.
How did PUSH Collaborative perform from a project management standpoint?
They were pretty agile. For our initial call, they used a scheduling tool to schedule the call and it was pretty efficient. Instead of trading emails, the tool let us select a time based on their availability.
During the project, we had phone calls that lasted about half an hour to discuss or clarify different things. They also used Boords.com and Dropbox to share the storyboards and files.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They grasped our vision well. They listened to what we were trying to do and paid attention to detail, and that really stood out. If we asked to change anything — no matter how small it was — they were accommodating.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Overall, I was really satisfied with their work.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Their process worked really well, so I would encourage new customers to buy into that process. They should also be able to make requests or ask questions, no matter how small or detailed the request might think it is. They will be able to direct them by explaining what’s doable and what isn’t.

Animated Videos Production & Web Design for Software Co
"They spend time to understand topics and simplify our messages to create a product that stands the test of time."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m part of the product marketing team at a supply chain software company.
What challenge were you trying to address with PUSH Collaborative?
We wanted to shift our content and collateral to focus on end-to-end storytelling. We needed to deliver short but also impactful pieces of collateral.
What was the scope of their involvement?
PUSH helps to create 2–3-minute videos that explain the benefits of our solutions at a high level. Their team creates animated videos that we ultimately feature on our website. So far, they’ve created about 5–6 videos.
In most cases, our product marketers directly work with Rohan (Creative Director) to provide background information on specific products and outline scripts. They then move into storyboarding and reviewing a sample of the video’s ultimate look. We work with their team from inception until the video content's published.
Their team also designed an interactive web page. They helped from the beginning until the end of the project too.
What is the team composition?
We primarily work with Rohan who’s our main point of contact.
How did you come to work with PUSH Collaborative?
When I joined the organization, our team already worked with Rohan on an animated explainer video. The project was small in scope. We quickly saw the value of that video, so we had a desire to quickly replicate that experience across the rest of our portfolio. Based on that experience, we made the decision to expand our relationship.
How much have you invested with them?
Across the portfolio, we’ve invested about $80,000 this year. We intend to grow even further next year.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started the first project around February 2020 and initially expanded the agreement in April. We recently expanded the engagement again to encompass other interactive forms.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We received positive feedback from our team, organization, and end-users. The videos are top performers on our website. The pages where we feature PUSH’s work perform well from a page views perspective.
It’s incredibly easy to work with their team. There’s a lot of value in distilling some of the complexities and benefits of our solutions. Their team’s able to distill that information and make it impactful in an introductory fashion.
How did PUSH Collaborative perform from a project management standpoint?
We work with PUSH following a weekly cadence. They share their progress. Their team has competing priorities because we’re creating so many videos across our portfolio. There’s a lot of transparency around their priorities. We haven’t had any issues with their timeline management.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their knowledge of our industry isn’t a core competency. Their team isn’t a specialized supply chain vendor but seeks to understand our industry. They spend time to understand topics and simplify our messages to create a product that stands the test of time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
